Nothing, it just appeared that ac was going to die first.

A few thoughts while thinking about this game on my drive to work:

I like most of what you've contributed, but I"m not following this. Ac had nothing to do with the latter two dreams.

I'm sitting on a train. There's no sign of other human life in any direction that I can see. I'm alone on the train, but it moves forward, hurtling westward faster and faster and faster. What I can see outside of the train becomes a bright white blur, and the force shoves me deeper and deeper into my seat. But for one everlasting second, the train instantly slows down.
Or perhaps it's just time which slows only for me
. My body floats up to look through the window, and there's a junkyard, filled with the mangled corpses of old blue post office boxes. I have an eternity to stare them down, but the rust simply crusts over their bodies. And when I scream, letters pour out like blood, and the train speeds away.
In post 841, Marquis wrote:it didn't because i didn't intend to slow down time
What did you intend it to do?
The more important question here is what were the other two dreams you submitted, and what would they have done?

Full disclosure, every dream I submit to the mod is going to be based on an actual dream I have IRL, albeit occasionally with one of your names replacing whatever real-life person was in the dream. It's apparent that angling for specific powers isn't likely to work the way we want it to, and frankly I find it fun both seeing how the mod interprets a dream with no intent behindit, and occasionally forcing the mod to read a graphic description of a wet dream.

also what do you think of my interpretation that the underlying theme of your dream is of you trying to escape?
and the purpose of lucid dreamers is to have fun with the mechanic. there's no point in treating. i submitted one and only one intentionally ambiguous dream, and expected zaicon to interpret it in a pro-town way, according with my alignment. so far i don't know how my dream helps, but i figured that if i gunned for something superbly powerful, i would receive a weak interpretation. by submitting one simply odd dream, i hoped zaicon would give me something inversely helpful in return, but i had nothing specific in mind.

in other words, my dream both did and did not have intent. it was something surreal which happened to me in real life; i purposefully focused on the rusting post office boxes; i had no specific moderator interpretation in mind except for the chance that if i submitted something different and enjoyable for myself, i would receive a distinct and useful power opposite of my ambiguous and useless paragraph.

additionally, i figured most people would continue to try the overdone and tryhard "i follow player x and get a cop result". that's a continuously fruitless waste of the game mechanics. please, this is lucid dreamers- not matrix6.

I think a lot about meteors. The purity of them. Boom! The end. Start again. The world made clean for the new man to rebuild.

1 is chkflip, but i'm not sure anymore.

2 is you, but i don't have anything to justify this at the moment other than day 1 play that i'm fairly sure you can potentially nullify somehow. (hint: if i weren't as lazy, this is where i would ask you to prove you're town, and you counter by asking me to prove you're scum first then after i do it we simultaneously move on to a new topic for no reason)

3 is i don't know. atm i'm taking all dreams at face value and trying to see which had the most tryhard/scum intent behind it. in the lucid dreamers games we played last marathon, scum dreams tried super hard as compared to town's "fuck mafia i'm having fun #swagyolo420likeaboss".

also, i can both see the dream regarding chkflip as a scum frame and as a self-imposed scum way to slow down or stop any wagons on him. i'm personally wary of voting him now in case i want to unvote then want to lynch him again. pretty sure a lot of people are as iffy as i am about a lynch on chk and the dream is 100% taking advantage of that.

Herschel, Im saying I find it weird that ac's wasnt framed as an announcement like chk's were.

Liking Marquis' explanations they read genuine but I still think we should steer away from randomness and try to tailor dreams to standard powers.

Didn't Marquis claim the second dream? Also chkflip mentions a curveball ability from his dream claim when he was still in the game so the third dream might have been from that.

That is because AC just had the ability to post a message through the mod. He wrote a message to trick us all into thinking he is town by having it 'modconfirmed' but as we found out via the mod here:

Do you have any idea how foolish this sounds?
Do you really think that I would attempt to make the mod lie, even though the rules post of this game explicitly says no dream may make the mod lie?
I mean god damn I know I am a shit player but come on I at least read the freaking rules. Christ.

The mod would never be lying....
if you are scum you could have got him to say that
"Morgan Freeman says that ac1983fan is not a Nightmare!"
he said this is possible... the mod does not lie here
how is this foolish?

Because obviously exactly what happened would have happened...Like of course somebody would have asked if it could happen if I were a nightmare.
If I had dreamt up a message sharing ability with the mod, I would have used to to share something that would have potentially benefited my faction somehow. My dream was an innocent child dream gone wrong. And honestly if that is your entire case on me, that I did that to try to trick the town, that literally makes 0 sense and you should rethink your logic. Just saying.
