April leaned on to the servants' quarters door to listen in to the conversation between the servants.

"......it has to be the young mistress. It doesn't make any sense otherwise."

"Yes. That makes sense. I think she was working with alchemy in the side mansion."

"Ah, that's why we weren't allowed in there."

"That must be where she's keeping her poison. Let's go confront her. We can't just let her poison all of us."

April knew the game was up. She turned around to go back to her room. She needed to leave, but she couldn't behind her book, her greatest treasure.

"Young mistress? What are you doing?"

projectmatt had just turned around the corner and spotted her. As he spoke, his eyes widened as he realized that she had overheard the conversation.

"SHE'S OUT HERE! WE NEED TO MOVE- AGRHLEGLeee-" projectmatt raised an alarm, but August had already put a dagger in his throat.

"April! We need to get out of here!", yelled August, as he barred the servants' door with a chair.

"There's something I need to retrieve from my room. Can you buy me time?", asked April.

August held her stare for a second, then slowly said, "5 minutes." as he drew another dagger and waited for the servants to break through.

Nachomamma8 and generic circled August. Nachomamma8 held a pan in his hands; generic had gardening shears.

"Sir. Please give up. We don't want to fight you. We know that young mistress was the one who poisoned everyone."

August held his stance without a reply, as if waiting for something.

Suddenly, generic clutched his throat. He crumpled to the ground without a sound. His face was already purple.

Nachomamma8 looked on with a horrified face as August sprang forward and knocked the pan out of his hands.

"I'm sorry it had to be this way, Nachomamma8." said August, as he cornered Nachomamma8 into a corner.

As he raised his dagger to strike, August noticed a movement behind him. He attempted to sidestep, but he couldn't get out of the way of Bert's outstretched arms.

"GET YOUR HANDS OFF NACHO!" screamed Bert as they both tumbled to the ground. Lizen, who had followed Bert up to the servant's quarters, ran next to Nachomamma8 to take his vitals. As soon as she realized that Nacho wasn't hurt, she turned around to face August.

August stood up and straightened himself. Bert lay sprawled on the ground, unconscious.

"Did you stab him?" asked Lizen. "I was about to offer you mercy, but I see you won't hesitate to kill innocent people to escape."

August rushed forward without a word, and stabbed Lizen in the chest. His eyes widened in shock as metallic clang echoed around the room. His blade failed to penetrate the armor Lizen had materialized around her.

"Nice try." commented Lizen as full plate armor materialized and enveloped her.

April opened the door to the rooftop. August has disappeared, and servants on her tail.

As she steadied herself and calmed herself, a familiar voice spoke out.

"April? Is it really you?"

May had been waiting for her at the roof. She knew her habits well.

"Did you really kill our father? I can't believe it..." May stammered.

".....it wasn't me, May. I swear on our mother's grave."

"How do expect me to believe you!"

".....I didn't." came the delayed response, as May clutched her throat. She died before she hit the floor.

April looked out to the estate once more. The rose garden looked as beautiful as it did 10 years ago, when the stranger handed her the book on the day of her mother's funeral.

"......I'm sorry, August." said April. "I couldn't do it."

My Two Cents


Death Faction was the "Conventional" mafia team. It takes two lynches to get both, and either of the members can kill during the night, but they are unable to talk during the day. Since there were only two, they may have guessed at the game start that there is another anti-faction out there.

Necromancy Faction was the "Serial Killer" mafia team. They have daytalk and is able to coordinate better than the Death Faction, but they're much more vulnerable to lynches (just one good lynch will end this faction). Another advantage of this faction was inclusion of a Cop, which immediately lets them know that there is another anti-town faction out there.


Death is quite powerful of a role, almost to a point where Death can function as one-man team. He's immune to detection from both cops, and self-watches, which is an already powerful ability that compliments his detection immunity. His only weakness is his lack of reliable fake claim, which fixes itself as the game goes on longer and more flavor info is known. Death is definitely not as expendable as June Wingate, who's basically just a spy for Death into the Wingate Neighborhood. In fact, due to August's ability to detect alignment, should he decide to check out the Wingate Neighborhood, June would have been found quickly. One saving grace is that Death's flip looks exactly like what a SK's flip should look like, which helps hide June little bit better should Death get killed before June.

April and August are also pretty strong, but they require a bit more finesse to play, as SKs generally do. April is obviously the more important member here, since August dies immediately if April is killed. Having a poisoner instead of normal night kill helps this team tremendously especially in a mini, since it hides their kills until Day 2 is over. To strengthen April & August against the other scum team during the night when the enemy scum team will be looking for them, I gave August ability to bodyguard April. I considered a doctor instead of a bodyguard for August, but that would mean there will be no rewards for the Death faction for guessing the Necromancy team correctly. Seeing how Death faction didn't have a way to detect Alignment during the night, I decided on bodyguard. Necromancy team also had two people in the Wingate Neighborhood, giving them a bigger say in influencing the neighborhood.

I presented Guest Neighborhood as a power gamble option. There's usually a fair chance that a neighborhood contains a scum, and claiming your power role in one is very dangerous. However, if you're willing to burn night actions on confirming your own neighborhood, it does pay off big. If Guests are played as Masons, town now had a half-immune-to-NKs cop. Originally, I had Aetis as a weak cop and Lizen without Awareness, but because I wanted to let the option of ignoring the neighborhood and playing independent PRs, I reduced Aetis's penalty for finding scum, and gave Lizen a very weak detection power.

As for interactions between the neighborhoods, I included the names of the Guests in May Wingate's flavor, and included the name of May Wingate in Albert's flavor. It was important that the scum teams had a way to learn about the Guest neighborhood outside the main game.

Large number of VTs ensured that VT fakeclaim was safe from PoE. This was important seeing how mafia were not given fakeclaims, and no one knew what the flavor was.

Thanks for running it FakeGod, and I had fun playing with you all. I'm really glad that my frustrations were born from the neighborhood that was mostly scum anyway :)

Yay!!
I was very afraid Qwints would never get lynched after I took my guilty on him to the grave.

I do feel really good about how I played this game.

Empire had all 3 scum as town purely due to solid role info (Desp claiming a Wingate looked good for Shadoweh and the other 2 were confirmed to him), so he's pretty blameless :)

Hey FG you rocked this game!!! <333

And I enjoyed this game for the most part - OK OK so the frustration kinda boiled in me noggin at times because I just wanted to speedlynch people at times - MARA I'm looking at you.

And yeah, Mara refusing to acknowledge that killing qwints would confirm her and thus help us town...that was as good as a scumclaim.

Tammy played really well, Nacho did too

Shadoweh and inte kinda rubbed me the wrong way during the game, and me the same towards them, but no hard feelings <3

And yeah, the format of the game was really good (OK the multi-ball and all the NK's really killed the rhythm), but I enjoyed the game and did get engaged which is what I look for in a game - being entertained.

I like the formatting of FG's games - not too much colors, and really serious-looking and professional. I remember Assassins in the Palace which FG modded and I played in, and it was so professional. Bravo. <3

To everyone, thank you for playing. I had a great time with you all.

Flavor is from Visualized Concept, or VisCon for short. It's a fictional world I created and wrote stories for.

To anyone who liked the flavor, you might be interested to hear that I plan to mod more VisCon games in the future! (And yes! Some of the characters from this game will return!)

I wouldn't have wanted to lynch Qwints even if we were town. I. Just. Don't. Kill. town.

especially those who are "conf. town" IMO, it goes against everything I stand for.
