1/25 now instead of 1/24 - though still no idea what to make of it.

Gods I hope the scum team shot Syry because that would mean they're just legit not paying attention, which means good things for us. But I just don't see how a scum team could just not realize that when Faraday said Syryana left the game and was not eligible for night actions, they decided to try to kill him anyway.

I think I only find it weird because Tammy's search was very... open? Where I feel yours was more behind the scenes? I accept different approaches but I'm just trying to get a feel for it because there wasn't an obvious "Alfred jilted Shadoweh at the altar of fire!" mod post like Tammy/Syr's wedding post.
Can you tell me a reason I should actually answer this question? It's almost like I'm not Tammy or something. I have no interest in helping you understand. Bacardi is my best friend though, he and I can be happy forever.
Not really. As I said previously, I had you leaning town but my confusion over what typically happens here (because I got the feel that it was common knowledge from others and remember something about the marriage deal happening in another game) put you back at null. I was hoping to clear it up because I liked you as leaning town.

My comment that 'I accept different approaches' was me saying that I know you're not Tammy and that I don't expect you to play the same way...

I wish you and your bottle the best.

Hurr hurr. Alchemist is a game related alt: check join date vs game start date. No posts in the sign up thread, no other posts period. The alt account was very clearly made for this game.

So, um, Syryanas still in the game.

The question becomes, who is the Alchemist? Is it a puppet account for Syryana?

I worry his disappearance is related to an Assassin's Guild.

Edit: Tammy, I was implying it was a day kill.

Syryana's disappearance is role-related.

That's all I've to say about that.

As mentioned by others, this is also a terrible post. I fail to see how using a fruitvend is anything other than a null tell.

Garruk, that would have to be a psychic scum team since they'd have to have shot him before the night phase where scum take their kills began. Unless NotSyr's slot is suddenly scummy I don't see how guessing about it is productive.

I'm not convinced enough on Naut to vote just yet; they've made a lot of posts and the was the first one that I remember pinging my scumdar.

Also, to note regarding the Alchemist - http://www.westeros.org/Citadel/FAQ/Ent ... in_Oldtown. Murderer of Pate, probably Jaqen H'Gar. Not sure what that means here, but figured I'd share it just in case someone has a bright idea.

Oh, yeah, we assumed ever since The Alchemist popped up that Syryana is "disappeared" in that we just won't ever find a body. We're not expecting to hear from him ever again, though Jaqen/whoever who did it could be either alignment.

The post that tipped us off

Going back to the end of Day 1, this head was looking for people who knew Thor would flip town before he did. This section caught our eye:
In post 1761, elleheathen wrote:I think he's scum but at this point, even if he's not at least we have

1)His claim
2)His final reads
3)And the best vca analysis we're going to get

The worst case scenario is we lose a miller that would have to be lynched at some point anyway.
It reminded us of the kind of bargaining that we tend to do as scum in order to negotiate ourselves a cheap mislynch. It's frustrating because we know that it sounds reasonable but, anecdotally, this head is sure that he sees this more often from scum than town.

So, prompted by this, we iso'd elleheathen and ctrl+f'd "Thor".

This vote on him comes after a period where elle has accepted that her previous arguments were about a point that was really moot (nameclaim affecting her read of his millerness). The reasons presented afterwards are really spurious, largely based on personality and hypotheticals ('It'd be a good gambit if he were scum', 'he doesn't have to be town', 'I can't trust sarcastic people').

To her credit, she admits it's spurious later, but her scumread later increases in intensity for not really anything more than she'd already said. This post doesn't make a lot of sense for someone who's already admitted that her reasons for thinking Thor is scum are pretty weak and that her vote is mostly gut; if you know your case, such as it is, is not very good, you should expect it to be belittled and downplayed.

Through all of his her focus is very largely on Thor, there's not a lot of talk or digging on anyone else. It adds up to a feeling that elle is most comfortable arguing hypotheticals, practicalities and gut about Thor than anything else. It's the easy way to look busy.

That does seem weird. From this head's experience, Nacho does not actually have to do all that much to get townreads. #1956 feels exaggerated, and could well be because he feels naturally less likely to be townread in this game.

Do you want to be mopey lurkscum Dan or do you want to BE AN ACTION MAN?!

I have admitted to not reading 70 pages of this game many times. And I think objectively that it would serve you best QTing with us in the absence of all other considerations. But it seems you have another consideration, and we have nothing to do with it. Also fun isn't something either of us are having this game.

We did note that. We're prepared to believe that VCA would not necessarily be intended for today, though, rather for later - especially with no other flips from the night.

Started re-reading the thread yesterday - up to 23 but wont be able to finish today.. so prod-dodge

@Goat
since you're here:
In post 43, you vote Cephir because he could have joined the game with kanye by voting PnJ but didn't in post 11. However, Garruk is probably more guilty of the reason you posted since they didn't vote PnJ after specifically being asked to by kanye in post 14.
Why this selective tunnel on Cephir?

@Thor
- in case you're still reading
Thor wrote:But feel free to go and find me a Day 1 Miller claim where the Miller claimed as part of their first post and was then lynched anytime in the next three days.
I'll wait.
Didn't have to wait long... Here's one such claim

Why this selective tunnel on Cephir?
Because Cephrir did it first. While this head believes that not making every effort to get out of RVS immediately
should
be a scumtell, it is not yet a widespread enough commitment on this site for it to be a practical scumtell. It is more useful to vote somebody for such a reason, however, than for none at all, so when we checked the thread after #6, we knew we wanted to do something better with our vote. With nothing more usefully scummy from the previous 42 posts, however, we decided that having a go at the first person to behave suboptimally would at least be more likely to create something than our previous vote on Stupe. So we simply read the thread from the start and found Cephrir to be the first person eligible for such a vote. Singling out one person is more likely to get a reaction from them than if we highlight every single person who did not help us rush forward in the first 40 posts, because we could have cited several and there would have been less chance of an impact.

We're sure there's a less verbose way of saying all that but couldn't quite hit upon it. Let us know if it doesn't make sense.

@ PNJ: :igmeou: If that's all you think I'm doing, why don't you just leave me alone and let me dig myself a hole?

@ Quadz et al: I already said that I would expect a scum JOAT to hang on to his fruit vend to at least pretend like he might try to use it to confirm himself as town, which is the only positive benefit of a fruit. Yelling at me and calling it "bad" because that's null and not townie without actually engaging my reasons for why I think what I think is pretty scummy

@ mollie: Can you talk to me about Goat people?

Unvote
Vote: Nautilis

Really don't like how you've had us in your potential scum pool all game but have made almost 0 effort to sort us.

Why is Amrun scummy? What's changed from your lynch pool list from yesterday?

Also, Amrun's "I can't believe you people think I'm scum because of a sitewide activity issue" was super town because I went through something extremely similar and I never ever would have considered saying it in a scum game. She probably knew it would look bad as she was giving the excuse and she didn't give a shit because she thought the suspicion on her really was that ridiculous--towntowntown.

Your Nautilus votes are bad and you should feel bad.

Goat People are starting to look like they're at least trying.

Mollie, do you always flipflop so much? Your willingness to vote for or work with Goat has been all over the map.

Why are they bad? Do you have a Nautilus-town case that I missed? There better be one because I don't understand why you'd feel the need to stop a wagon at 3 votes unless you had an extremely strong townread on them.
