The purpose of tilting someone is to illicit a strong reaction from someone who you know is expecting you to read them as town/someone who is afraid of you pegging the fuck out of them. You taunted someone who you not only can't consistently read, but someone who is good at reading you (hence a taunt would be muddying the waters), someone who can get paranoid of you and who usually lynches you when they are, and is also someone who you can't read worth a shit. Can, yes, but try not to be. In the message being quoted, I wasn't even being arrogant. If I arrogantly thought I'd be nightkilled, I'd be SCREAMING, "LISTEN TO ME!" Instead, it was a quite humble "I am a realistic candidate for the veto, and therefore a realistic possibility of a nightkill". Which is true.

Side-note, kinda sad, but with the paranoia about the five...TIP's my strongest townread. (Like I said. I'll need to reread these pages once I get caught up, to see if I can properly sort alignments.)

There are other things, but mainly? Playing the newb card. Read his games. In every town game, he doesn't play it. In most of his scum games, he does. There's also the content and tone. Phok displays a greater amount of confidence and logical thinking as scum, whereas when town, is more doubtful and unassured of himself.
