The Spyrex vote is pretty great and we're-a let you finish but Agar made one of the scummiest moves onto the Amrun quickwagon of all time. OF ALL TIME!

Let her post the damn content and then judge. Sheesh.

It is now after 1:30 AM Eastern Time Wednesday (last I knew she was EST/borderline-possibly-CST, so after 12:30 AM Wednesday). She promised us content on Tuesday - said she was spending an ENTIRE DAY to get caught up and give us content. She has posted 9 times since midnight Tuesday -- 6 times after 8 PM Eastern, if you want to discount the times she posted prior to saying she was gonna sleep. 6 posts, no content. No reads. 1 status update, 2 questions with regards to Kanye, and 3 posts complaining.

No reads.

Again, she was devoting supposedly an entire day to this. Supposedly.

She's casted votes as recently as this day phase, even though she wasn't fully caught up. At most, she's what - 20 pages behind? 30 if we're being generous. It doesn't take 24 entire hours to read 30 pages. I caught up on 45-50 on a dry read in 24 hours with a job and, honestly speaking, making time to just bullshit and hangout for several hours with my friends in the midst of that. I didn't sit in front of my computer for straight sessions and I still got caught up faster than she did with no base layer to build off of. She has one, or she's been casting absolute bullshit votes. Stringing her up isn't an entirely bad idea.

L-2 is an entirely reasonable point to have her at by now.

L-1 is even better.

It takes a body of mafia experience so, so much smaller than Agar's to get that this isn't behaviour more likely to come from scum than town. @Kanye: I really thought D2 was moving towards lynching one of {SpyreX, Messiah}. The way I saw it playing out - Amrun would have posted a couple of walls - assuming she didn't do a derptastic job of it, most of that wagon would have disbanded since people were at "lurky; probably town; vote for pressure". The SpyreX hammer just reeked of scum motivation.

However, I wouldn't mind seeing some games where SpyreX has quickhammered though.

Peace is my other scum read.
- Peace's play felt odd initially but that sort of died out. The few posts before the replacement spiked my scumdar again.

Can you link the completed town game for the lazy amongst us, and maybe explain the tonal difference?
I'm pretty sure I was in a game with him where he was town and I don't feel a difference yet, albeit I haven't seen much from him, but besides him acting polite (like Tierce is noting) I don't see anything really clicking as different to me. Help clue me in here, your case needs sheep, so you need to herd if you believe in it at all.

I find it really hard to believe that he replied to the first part and somehow missed the second quote reply of Thor's to him - especially when it was bolded! Something in thread that makes you angry enough to replace out is an instantaneous reaction. The fact that he came back after an hour to replace out possibly points to the fact that it was faked.

Re: AGar's vote - I think that "you said you were working on this all day today" is totally valid when Amrun had been promising it for literally days beforehand. I don't see the scum motivation in that vote. Would I personally have made that my reason for an L-1 vote? No, I wouldn't have. Does that mean it was scummy? Not at all.

Activity is one of the best reasons to vote somebody as scum because not posting is objectively A Bad Thing, and you can do that to make it a practical-looking vote rather than a really involved one ('Amrun promised content and didn't post content' is so robotic, it involves no risks whatsoever). People promise shit and don't deliver

, and in our experience there is sod-all alignment correlation. Add it onto the fact that he's jumping onto a wagon moving alarmingly quickly and it looks scummy as all hell to us.

Not really helping your case, Agar. I clearly stated intent and gave a timeframe. You know, like how people who are not fools or scum do things. I wouldn't have even done it though if you hadn't set up the hammer though--half of this game is understanding tempo, and with the L-1 vote lain, someone was going to take the bait. I was hoping to head it off with our intent, but it didn't work.

And I am not giving a pass on SpyreX's hammer, but I find it paradoxically MORE acceptable than the person who sets up the hammer, ie you--you were baiting the hammer with that vote and you fucking know it. I mean, I pulled the exact same ploy in Syryana's Open, so I should know.
