Not really sure tbh. Nacho already claimed vt and was shown VT, so it might be better for ghostlin to protect one of the confirmed towns instead? Like if desp flips scum like I think he is, there's no way for a bro-cabd scumteam happening at this point, so we lynch bro and nacho in either order and game ends I think.- Antihero

Guess I'll figure it out.
Fairly certain the last of the scum is between Desp, Bro, TF, Andy.

scum aren't likely to have many prs left if any at all
therefore if you get a VANILLA results its damning
and it you get a PR result he's way more likely town
and through him the other 2
investigating VT claims when there are likely GOONs remaining is a waste of time IMO
especially when all the VTs are lined up for the next few days"This is the true face of a man who plays paladin."- Andrius

“Pull back! Pull back goddammit!”
Bart frantically tried to comply with his own order, but his gear was having none if it. Instruments dead, Bart was forced to crane his neck as far as he could over both shoulders to see if his companions had fared any better.
It was no use. Acrid black smoke was pouring out of his own engine, completely obstructing his forward and port side views, and all he could see to starboard was open sand.
He got on the comm again, as there had yet been no response to his recommendation to pull back. “Talk to me, people!”
“Worry about your own ass!” came Seraphita’s arrogant brashness, in which he’d come to take a slight guilty pleasure in evoking.
“I’m a little busted up,” Sigurd reported, “but more importantly, we haven’t made a scratch.”
Bart grimaced. Sigurd was, of course, stating the obvious. The psychotic gear pilot with whom they were presently fighting for their lives hadn’t continued taunting them once they’d joined the battle. Instead he’d silently deflected all of their attacks with a flagrant lack of effort.
Bart flipped his comm to external. “What the hell are you, man?!” he yelled into it.
“...Pitiful,” the response seemed to come from everywhere, especially considering that Bart couldn’t see. “They told me Nisan’s strongest would be found in the Aveh wastelands.”
He sounded almost, a thought that gravely worried Bart. Only the mentally unhinged complained about an easy victory in battle.who
“Yeah, well, why don’t you go tell--” he stopped abruptly. “Wait, told you that?”do
“Heh.” The blood red gear engaged its thrusters and took off into the air again. “I don’t care about your petty politics.”
Bart’s radar bleeped, but he paid it no mind, other thoughts preoccupying him. He’d get to deal with Nisan’s apparently shoddy military intelligence if he actually made it back. Until then, there was nothing but this lunatic.“Then whatyou care about?”fucking
“Enough talk. Or are you stalling for time?”
Bart was not at all ashamed to admit to himself that he’d been doing just that. Still, the gear could recuperate a lot of its drained energy, as well as self-repair, only while idle. “I was hoping we could come to some kind of agreement,” he said half-heartedly. He doubted he would like any proposal this man offered.
His request was ignored. “Of course, if you’d rather I take your hesitancy out on your ship...” With that, the red gear floated over to the Yggdrasil, as if sizing it up.
His bluff called, Bart began to power back up when a voice on the comm stopped him. “Hold position,” said a calm female tone that Bart did not recognize over the internal channel.
“What?!” he snapped back, but Seraphita’s Grandgrowl had already closed the distance between her gear and Brigandier and had wrapped its limbs around one of his legs. “Let go!”
“What a waste this turned out to be. Let this day be a reminder of your unworthiness,” said the man in red, who landed with a thud on the Yggdrasil’s hull.
“You--”would
“Now, Tolone!” Seraphita cut him off.
An arc of electricity streaked from the sky and hit the Yggdrasil, spreading over its surface. The red gear, currently in direct contact, was enveloped.
A few seconds later, it was over. The enemy gear’s lights had instantly winked out, and it fell over, toppling off the ship with a crash. And then, Bart watched with amazement as the gear changed color and appearance, turning from a bold crimson into a soft navy blue, spikes retracted and soon replaced with smooth contours. Overhead, Bart could see a winged flying gear circling for the first time, obviously Tolone.
He sat there, stock still for a few more seconds, and then the gravity of the situation hit him. Seraphita and her apparent confederate had endangered the lives of his entire crew. Solaris apparently already knew they were moving on Bledavik. He had to--
“Young master,” Sigurd said over the comm. Sigurd only called him that when Bart was about to be reproached about something. “Might we save the debriefing for when we’re all present and accounted for?” and Bart knew he meant not only the three of them, but also both this Tolone and their unexpected fallen adversary.
But Sigurd could bet his ass therebe a debriefing. “Yeah, right,” he mouthed weakly. “Get on the horn to engineering. Tell them to pick up this sad sack on the way out of here. Seraphita, get your mystery friend in here. Did that electro-thing fry any of our shit?”shiny
“Negative,” came the voice of Tolone again. “Your ship is equipped to dissipate bursts of electrical energy. His craft was not, but I could never have hit him directly.”
The lack of emotion with which she stated these facts made him want to throw up. “Fine. Let’s just get going. I’ve got a city to retake.”

Prime Minister Shakhan sat in his office in Fatima Palace and wrung his hands for what must have been the fifth time in the past minute. Everything was falling apart at the seams. His “advisor” in Solaris -- for that is what Miang had called herself, even if Shakhan knew that Solaris controlled the Aveh throne -- had disappeared. In fact, he’d not been able to raise anyone from the city proper since his double-agents within the Fatima loyalists had reported that the Alliance was pulling out all the stops.
And why shouldn’t they? Shakhan could read the writing on the wall: Solaris had abandoned Aveh for their counterpart in the northern part of the continent, Kislev. Considering the close ties of Nisan to the Fatima royal family, Nisan placed a higher importance on retaking Aveh than they did on keeping Kislev a free state.
Until now, Shakhan had been comfortable with the mitigating fact of an army of angels backing his cause. But if Solaris had abandoned the Southern desert territories for literally greener pastures, well, Shakhan wasn’t above cutting and running, and there was no time like the present.
He passed his personal assistant on the way through the outer chamber toward the elevator that led directly to the sublevels of the palace. “Push the cabinet meeting back a day.” he ordered, without looking at her or stopping. “I need to take care of a few things.”
Aside from the fact that Shakhan had no intention of attending a cabinet meeting tomorrow or any other day, the second part was true. There were a few particularlythings in the royal family’s vault that he would be taking quite good care of indeed.
The only thing left was to grab everything he could and get out of town before Bartholomew Fatima burned everything Shakhan had built to the ground.

Marguerite was perpetually worried.
For the last four nights, Bart had failed to check in with her, and she’d been likewise trying to raise him before she went to sleep every night with little success.
Therefore, while shocked to hear his voice come over the radio at 3 AM, she was not at all put off by it. She threw the covers off her and scrambled to her desk on the other side of the room, plopping down in the chair. “Bart?”
“Margie! We’re here! In Bledavik!” Bart sounded euphoric.
“...You’re on the outskirts of the city? What has happened?”
Bart audibly calmed down at this, probably realizing she did not share his frame of reference. “What? No -- we’rethe city. They surrendered.”Your home, Bart.
“What?!” Margie exclaimed, and summarily winced. Hopefully no one would come running in the room at the noise, although being the holy mother generally afforded her more privacy inside the cathedral walls, at the expense of allowing little to none outside of them. “How is that possible? What about Shakhan? Are you sure this isn’t a trap?”
“Heh, Sigurd said the same thing. Trust me - we checked. It looks like Solaris bailed on the occupation, and Shakhan seems to have skipped out of town as well. There were some soldiers still stationed but having received no orders, not to mention more than a few already knowing who we were, well, welcome to Free Bledavik! We’ve got our home back”
Margie felt a little pang at that comment.Instead, she said, “Bart, that’s wonderful!”
Margie debated on waking some of her advisors in order to share the good news, but decided it could wait until morning. “What happens now?” she asked, and could hear the sigh from the other end as Bart answered.
“Not entirely sure -- my role in the war effort has probably come to an end -- not that I’m complaining, mind you -- but Solaris might still be hunkering down on Kislev. I don’t know. There’s something else, though. A man in a gear attacked the ship the other day.”
“Just one?”
“This was no ordinary gear, Margie. We almost bought the farm but two of Solaris’ rejects helped us out of a jam.” Bart did not sound like he was happy with either the people he was talking about or the circumstances.
“Is everyone okay?”
“We’re fine -- even the guy who attacked us. The weirdest part, though, is that when we subdued him, he changed into a different person, appearance-wise, and so did his gear. He claims his name is Fei Fong Wong from the village of Lahan and has no idea how he got there.”
“Are you thinking this is some Solaris plot?”
“...I don’t know. They’ve seemed horribly disorganized as of late. I don’t know that they’d have pulled out of Aveh unless they had to.”
“Mmm,” Margie stifled a yawn. She’d have to cut this short and get the details later. “I’ll try to get down there within the next few months.”
“Wait a while,” Bart recommended. “The last thing these people need is more political turmoil. I’m going to help the city get back on its feet first.”
She knew that he would perform the job admirably. “I’m proud of you, Bart, and I’m thankful that no blood was shed today.”
In the past she might have wished the Holy Mother’s blessings upon him. Now, well, that would be awkward for them both. “Be safe. See you soon.”
“You got it.” was the somewhat cool response that she got, and the line went off.
As she settled back into bed, Margie couldn’t help but smile and see the light at the end of this long tunnel of strife.
