We have a one-shot ability, which we used on Night 1, to find out how many people are alive who do not possess the town wincon. Mod confirmed to us that it was accurate as of the thread being unlocked.

In this case yes. I understand if you don't understand the scum tell of baiting the hammer, but what you did was a very obvious case of it. The tempo of the game dictated that the town wanted to pressure Amrun for answers, not necessarily to lynch her. There is a reason the wagon initially appeared to stop at L-2. You, however, seized the moment and manipulated the tempo with a 'case' and turned the pressure wagon into a lynch wagon when it was apparent that the town was not intending to lynch her. This tempo shift in turn manipulates a future voter to hammer out of turn.

I'm just trying to figure out how accurate that was. If it's an informed role, then accurate, but I was concerned about there being people who are untargettable or gone and if it targetted people then the number might be off.

I was just looking back at The Wire set up and we had 19 with a 4 person scum team and a lyncher. I'm wondering if we have some type of similar setup here as it seems pretty apparent that it's not multiball as was discussed on day one. Though if there was a potential that their information was wrong and there could be more scum, then maybe this assumption is wrong.

It was something I was thinking about yesterday and was going to ask but short day and all.

don't know about spyrex and his love of quickhammers as town, but if he does them as town then he's equally likely to do them as scum because omigod only town do the quickhammers, except that's false and scum do them too.

Why don't you have Shadoweh as town? And why aren't you trying to interact with her to feel out your read? In The Wire you ripped my head off and claimed I just didn't understand people because I couldn't see that Shadoweh was town in her first couple posts. This just feels really really off.

io think hes scum and btw i think the argument of "hes not scum cus he said im town" is dumb because thats what you when you are scum in that situation (especially this early in the game.) i was gut reading him all d1 as scum and his deadline dancing was ass (as bad as yours) and i really wish thor was alive now instead of him *ksises fingers and peace signs the sky,"much love 2 my boy rip"

oh yah also his play around amrun wagon.

Here are my thoughts on the two counter wagons. I don't have solid town reads on both Agar and Garruk but have them in a "weak town read that I don't want to lynch today" slot. Considering that's where I had Thor and Amrun, I'd rather lynch SpyreX than either.

AGar:

The major part of my read is from the early Andrius play and this post says it better than I can. Post 940 gave me a good town vibe.

Well, Andrius will not spend much time on this game for certain ~reasons~, regardless of his alignment. I believe that opening a game with a post restriction he KNOWS he is going to get shit for is pretty ballsy if he's a liar, and if he's telling the truth, the whole "using these emoticons is cheating bit" seemed like something that could get him more pressure anyways as scum but would be a sign of him enjoying his role as town. I won't be this easy on him tomorrow, but I feel good about it now.

Regarding AGar's play (and this applies to Quadz too) - I think their continual push on me, even after it becomes against the trend is a towntell rather than a scumtell. (It opens scum to 'focusing on one read at the expense on commenting on others' attacks and they avoid that; townies just don't care and want their suspect lynched)

Garruk:

This is a tougher read to explain. The first time around - I had them as my top scum read for most parts of D1 and D2. Then on D2, sometime during my 40 page re-read, I said "I'm not too sure - but let's put them in the town slot" based on vibe and interactions. The fact that they soft claimed on D2 to help out Tierce did not play a major part in my read but it felt genuine and was a towntell.

Regarding SpyreX - it just isn't about the hammer - I still haven't had anybody answering this part about peace properly.

The way in which they said I'm Town (I know things you don't~) and wanting to claim Today makes them as much Town as can be, really. I don't like their ISO either, but their actions speak pretty loudly.
