the sheer volume of it. it reminds me of other times i've seen it done and overplayed. take, for example, neil's ISO in this game. multiple posts at the beginning of the game, faking ignorance of the setup.

4) The items auctioned last night were incredibly shitty and I think a large part of the problem there was that the town overall did not put much towards advertising good PRs. Nacho and I had a similar thought process here – I told him that given the fact that the mafia started with more money than town last game, mafia would probably still have the starting money advantage here and we would have to put more towards actually winning things than advertising it. I even told him that we’d just let the other townies do the advertising for us. By the looks of things, this line of thinking appears to have been common among everyone, leading to a large diffusion of responsibility which into led to the shit N0 auctions. I’m asking the rest of you guys here to actually set aside some money for advertising good shit like BP, doctor, and commuter.

Also, in all fairness, I checked my opening post, and I did say something like "Why neighbourizer in particular?" I mean, honestly, I was surprised that the winning bid on neighbourizer was $100. So I see your point that I was downplaying it; like, yes, it's dangerous in the hands of scum who are really lucky in whom they target, but it's really only situationally useful. I was thinking other roles (Deadline, Hitman, etc.) were more dangerous. I still think your trying to find scum motivation in that is silly, though.

Again, I'll say early game I find it beneficial to push whatever seems off. You know this about me because I've been criticized for going after poor things early game all the time. I do find it odd, and I still find it a little odd, because it seems like you can't figure out what exactly you meant about the neighborizer role. And it's not situational or just inherently lucky. Scum have cop which means if they have neighborizer they're at a distinct advantage.

the game i linked, neil (scum) feigns ignorance of the setup over multiple posts in the early game for towncred. he literally stated this in the scum qt, but didn't plan exactly how he would do it. lots of people wrote him off as town in the early game because of it (including moi, lolol). it's similar to what baldeagle was doing here.

It is true that I think LB is more likely town because I feel Bald is scum, but you're still ignoring the fact that there isn't any evidence that points to LB being opposite scum. If there was indeed evidence that pointed to LB possibly being opposite scum, then I would not call him likely town, I would just think that LB and Bald aren't on the same team.

Stopping my read through for a moment to answer this:

Can anyone that played the first two rounds tell me if scum shared a qt for money actions or used seperate ones? If it's the former, bald is scum.

If I'm remembering it right, no. Magua provides private QTs to individual slots to sort out night actions and that's it. IIRC, the scum teams did not share a QT for money actions but presumably they'd be discussing it amongst themselves anyway. If you're talking about whether both scum teams shared a QT for money actions in the last game, then no as that would reveal the teams to each other and I definitely remember them not knowing each other (I only remember this because MoI unironically read my slot as opposite scum in the last game lmao).
