Ughbluh.

I'm really not okay with the people who have been posting a crapton. It's a great way for scum to
- look town in the early game,
- blow up the thread into 26 pages after what, 24 hours, so that people like me who can't be on all day fall behind and lurk, which makes them prime scum targets, and
- decrease the signal:noise ratio.

I've had a stern word with N, and I'm definitely got my eye on Lost Butterfly, morph the cat, and Pyrotechnics.

On the other hand, it should be noted that as of yet PeregrineV, guille2015 and DoctorPepper haven't posted.

N asked me to take a look at Garuda. I didn't like the Voided and Mhork votes and the Klick vote bugs me, especially in regards to what I've just said above. Also the idea that this is like the only scumread Nacho and Empire agree on ('sync achieved'), I'd think that'd require more content than one post expressing what is a fairly common sentiment at this point (see: my previous post, Seanald, Hermy... as they seem to be well aware.) If I remember correctly, I've never played with Empire, but a one-post read glean doesn't match up with my recollections of Nacho-town. I do think that the intrahydra communication there sounds believable, though, and it's the only real thing that's giving me pause at the moment.

I'm conflicted on Lost Butterfly, because a lot of what Mina has done seems scummy to me (that awful first post about getting investigation immunity, html tags, argument with Pyrotechnics) and a lot of what Faraday has done seems much better. But I've never played with Mina and I can't read Faraday since Gay Mafia II and, I think, Mafiastuck.

Finally, Pyrotechnics has jumped out at me for a lot of setup spec / prior games analysis and not much scumhunting. Also, there's something off about #577 that I can't pin down.

Haven't looked at many others (BBmolla and zMuffinMan read town though); hope to take a look at the current wagons soon. I'm not sure what to think of deadline timing. Need to talk further with N.

With the short deadline, we should probably just policy lynch Peregrine.

now that you mention it, i'm interested in this, too. i kind of want to know what they discussed when they synced, such that their top scum read (or the only one they agreed on?) was someone with a single post.

not directed at me, but mhork was actually the top wagon at the time with 5 votes, and voided and LB were both on 4 votes. but it's also possible the deadline ability was used at an earlier time between and .

Mhork, how many scum teams do you think that there are?

ZMuffin, I advertised medium because I thought it would be a useful role early in the game. I didn't bid on it because when I saw the antitown abilities available, I decided to go for those instead.

Lost butterfly, what were your questions to the mod and Magua's answers?

I'd vote for Klick.

nah, not the complaint itself, more him thinking he can get away with not contributing until D2. the overall tone of the post sounded townish. arrogant probably wasn't the right word.

is that really all you had to comment on in the last 20 or so pages?

not scum, Tammy. Go away.

I'm liking Mhork but then again he's experienced enough to not wig out under pressure. Still think Harakiri would make an excellent lynch. Was thinking that Sean might be a decent lynch 'cause I think scum DO like to complain about the size of said thread (but town do as well so its pretty null). Muffin makes a pretty good point though. Not for PLing PV.

@upside: I've been lynched for stupid reasons before and I pissed me off, do dumb attacks get on my nerves. If I'm gonna get lynched, I'd at least like some semblance of a logical case.

@zdenek: I'm assuming two 'cause there was that whole 'left' hand mafia role. It was an epiphany when I figured out it could mean left is one and right is other. Until that clicked, I thought left hand was some sort of euphemism for communism or something. Plus anything more than two seems unbalanced because they can win together.

UNVOTE: zdenek

I can buy that rationale for now.

VOTE: Seanald

Muffin, I understand where you are coming from with the whole arrogance thing, but I'm telling you that town Seanald fluffs more and scum Seanald lurks hard.

In post 624, Lord Mhork wrote:It's also very possible that scum will come in and make one post for the rest of the day. We should definitely look over the lurkers tomorrow.
I find this to be a likely possibility, though how do you propose to differentiate between town who only post once and scum who only post one?
In post 625, Lost Butterfly wrote:Faraday can answer the thing about Voidedmafia and Lord Mhork himself, since I don't think I've played much with Voided and am not sure of his skill level.
Just an FYI: If anyone says I'm a strong player, they're lying <_<.

But, this stuff between Tammy and FaraMina does not feel like scum pushing an angle from either side.
In post 626, Lord Mhork wrote:I singled out BBMolla 'cause he was all 'hey everyone let's just lynch Mhork.' At least that's what I remember seeing. This game is moving really quickly.
I think he did that. 20 pages or so kinda muddies the mind. I remember thinking he did some town things, but I'm probably going to need to recheck that.

Why zdenek, again, though?
In post 632, zMuffinMan wrote:he trusts you to blindly sheep nacho?
QFT
In post 644, BBmolla wrote:Honestly, no.
Are you voting me because of the reduced deadline and the want to get a lynch through, or because I'm scum then?
In post 648, 1baldeagle1 wrote:For the first part, then explain your other reasons for calling him town, because you are WKing him.
I have explained it already when someone else asked. -_-
In post 649, 1baldeagle1 wrote:Voided is scum. He needs to be lynched.
Cute.

I think that counts as a "top wagon" for the purpose of his point. What exactly does 1 less vote change there?

I'm not going to mess with the table, but I advertised Extra Vote. I bid on EV (won) and Neighborizer (lost)
2011 scummies winner (BTS help) and participant;

coming back to Mafia...slowly. Keep an eye for me as a mod.
Also keep an eye for setup review requests.

Not relevant with the pace of this game, you know that mhork. And maybe I shoulda been like the others and simply not posted anything. I'm in it to win it, but I ain't fucking reading the whole thread when it's generating 3 pages an hour. Like I said at that point go fuck selves.

So I'll opt to continue interjecting my self awkwardly into the game racking up some votes along the way, blah blah.

Now is there any kind of strategy we are trying to follow here like we did in marketplace 2?

@voided,

you weren't
the
top wagon, like upside down implied, and you may not have even really had a wagon when deadline was actually used, since magua wasn't around for like 10 pages and it could have happened at any time during those pages.

@Voided:
I dunno. We look at the people with low post counts with scrutiny? It's likely one of the three to not post yet are scum.

Zdenek was for the medium thing, but his response was reasonable enough to me to not be worth trying to really go after.

@seanald:
My point is that you don't contribute much as town or scum, but as town you at least fluff.

Also your Beetlejuicing is noticed as well as your AtE and 'hey guys I'm town let's do a strategy'

Sean/Mhork ain't gonna happen today. Harakiri is scum and we should kill it.
