Sorry, been a bit busy in RL and just got back to this game.
@mindgamer: I'm doing both. And here's why. Because your arguments have fallacies, As pointed out in my response to your second piece (the stuff about my RQS), You stated that I was saying that it was for late game not early game. I did not say that. What I said was what I quoted. That It is for early game, but when it doesn't work out in early game (as shown here) I wait for more data and then if things pop up later, I use them. As to how my ISOing relates, here is how, your complaint was that I've shown no suspicion of Number One before voting him. That's because I didn't have a scum read on anyone. After finishing my ISO's, I did get reads and I made a vote. Thus when you accuse that of being scummy. My response is "DA FAQ, Logic Please" Also notice that I've spent most of my posts since then explaining myself and not being able to push, also, I did promise to look over and explain what I dislike about Number One.
This feels like Town Notscience to me. As my memory of Town Notscience goes, this seems pretty accurate. Also I might as well provide some scum meta in a n00b for you to balance my behavior in this game off of. http://forum.mafiascum.net/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=24994 This game, I'm IC in this, and it shows my standard play. Especially in N00b mafia. I will read up on the game I played with Town NS to see if my memory is correct.
I will accept a Zakk lynch over a Not Science lynch any day.
Yeah, I'm VT... GOSH DARN IT FLAY!!!!
I HATE GETTING VOTED WITHOUT A CHANCE TO DEFEND MYSELF!!!! THIS IS WHY YOU TELL PEOPLE YOUR VOTE IS AT L-1!!!!!
I suggest looking at Number One or Zakk when I'm done. All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players.

With shaking hands and a racing heart, DeasVail began to heat cream in his saucepan, praying that the droplets of sweat appearing on his forehead would stay there. A few minutes in, he reached for the Cointreau.
May as well make it a little fancy,DeasVail had thought when shopping for his ingredients.
This action, however, had caused quite a stir among those waiting by the stovetop.
'ALCOHOL IS EVIL!' the strawberries shouted at anyone who'd listen. 'Time and time I've again, those humans have forced me into liqueurs, humiliated me by using my parts as garnish for those horrible horrible concoctions! Never again!'
The marshmallows didn't really know what alcohol was, so hung onto every one of the strawberries' words as if they were a most sacred truth, and the cream quite liked having the saucepan to itself, so it certainly wasn't complaining either.
As DeasVail brought the Cointreau bottle to the saucepan, about to pour its fancy contents in, the ingredients he was yet to use began to pull at his hair, the cream bubbling up and spitting itself at his face. In shock, he dropped the Cointreau bottle and with a sickening smash, the glass broke and the liqueur slowly spread across the kitchen floor.
It had been a long time since DeasVail had experienced anything like this, but back then the ingredients had never failed him, so with a shrug he got back to stirring his cream.
The Acting Method,Vanilla Townie, has been lynched Day 1.
It is now Night 1. The deadline for night actions is in (expired on 2013-10-19 21:00:00).
It's unlikely that I will be here for the deadline, so Day 2 may start a little late.- DeasVail

DeasVail froze. Something was terribly wrong, something that could jeapordise his entire afternoon...
A strand of his hair was out of place!
He abandoned his cream and rushed to the bathroom. After he returned with his once again perfect hair, DeasVail noticed that the bananas had disappeared.
Zakk,Vanilla Townie, has been killed Night 1.
Day 2 begins! The deadline is 3rd November 4pm AEDT. This is in (expired on 2013-11-03 01:00:00)
Players alive: The-Duck, Mindgamer, Fart Bane, Number_0ne, jmo16mla, notscience, Mr. Flay
With 7 alive, it takes 4 to lynch.Last edited by DeasVail on Sat Oct 19, 2013 11:48 pm, edited 2 times in total.-

Perhaps you should change your title from 'Megatron' to 'Loose Cannon', Flay.
I think the hammer was a genuine mistake regardless of alignment. There's no way an IC would go for an accidental hammer gambit. But there's something else I think that isn't genuine from Flay and that's his panic reaction to his own hammer:
Flay claims he missed Jmo's vote on The Acting Method because Jmo used an abbreviation in the form of TAM. But that can't be true considering Flay uses the TAM abbreviation himself when referring to The Acting Method:In post 173, Mr. Flay wrote:No, it'll count. I missed it because of the abbreviation....
In post 81, Mr. Flay wrote:[*]I basically view the same way. He says I'm a null read, but really isn't pushing to get any more information or advance his own case. He's posting theory and playstyle tips, not analysis. #57 also contains a lovely easter egg: ifTAMeitherjmo16mla or I flips scum later in the game, he could use it to attack the other for bussing. In post 126, Mr. Flay wrote:That all said, we have plenty of time right now to consider. I'm not ready for a lynch without hearing more from some of the people who were quiet over the weekend. I also need to look more closely atTAMand FB, they're rubbing me the suspicious way...In post 128, Mr. Flay wrote:Anyway, yes, build a case onTAM(using only completed games or this one!) and we'll talk about it. He's definitely on my list now for being so reserved. In post 128, Mr. Flay wrote:With all of that said, the questions this time were fairly weak for actually doing anything to start the game, and I haven't actually seenTAMgive ANY analysis of the answers, vague or otherwise. Looking at his ISO he's basically stalled the entire game on actually contributing.MFOS: TAMIn post 135, Mr. Flay wrote:Speaking of which, I agree with zakk, but I really want to see more about whyTAMis voting N1 instead of zakk, since he built more of a case on zakk.In post 151, Mr. Flay wrote:I like this Mindgamer kid. Will reread tonight and may consider a vote switch (I believeTAMis at 3 right now, unless zakk has switched). In post 155, Mr. Flay wrote:Comfortable with my vote where it is for now, but would switch toTAMto avoid a No Lynch. Everyone who hasn't already should post their top two suspects (three if absolutely needed), WITH REASONS. Full lists are not needed on D1.In post 160, Mr. Flay wrote:To be fair, you could say the same thing aboutTAM. Is anything besides inertia making you stay on NS instead? Because if only one of them is scum, now is the time when we'll start to see pressure to lynch the other from his buddy...
Flay has been using the abbreviation 'TAM' the whole time. His excuse that he missed Jmo's vote because of the abbreviation is therefore bullshit. In post 165, Mr. Flay wrote:TAMhas been astonishingly silent against his critics since yesterday morning, and we have three days left. You're missing the point of what I said. I missed it because "Vote: TAM" is a lot shorter than "VOTE: The Acting Method" - my eyes simply skipped over it at the beginning of the post. And yeah, it was a stupid, stupid mistake, especially since Ijustsaid that we should get a claim first. Now scum will get to play the WIFOM with anything I do from here on out...
You can vote me if you like, but I'd prefer you build it on something stronger than a misinterpretation. That's what notsci did, who coincidentally you thought was not scummy at all yesterday.
Not ready to vote yet. I want to look at who backpedaled on TAM.Retired as of October 2014.- Mindgamer

The unvote is bolded. The vote is bolded. The first three lines of space in Numer_0ne's post are empty except for his unvote/vote. If you say you 'skipped' this, you mean to say you thought N1 started his post with three empty lines of text? I find that hard to believe. In post 159, Number_0ne wrote:Unvote
Vote: TAM
While my suspicions on Jmo aren't gone, time is running short and my vote wasn't going to get anywhere.
Between notscience and TAM, I'm less suspicious of notscience. While his responses haven't been particularly good, I find the reasoning behind the votes on him isn't that solid. Mindgamer brings up some good points on TAM, and the fact that he's voting me isn't helping either.
On top of that, the rest of Number_0ne's post makes no sense without a change of vote. You read 'time is running short and my vote wasn't going to get anywhere' but you're not wondering why Number_0ne doesn't change his vote?- Mr. Flay

Yes, I missed it. 159 was posted two minutes before my 160, at 6 in the morning. It probably just showed up in Post Review (since I was responding to 158), and I was only half awake... what's my scum motivation for taking such a crap route to a D1 lynch? More attention on me for the rest of the game? Think, man.Retired as of October 2014.- jmo16mla

It's not just about his posting, but the way he made his case on notscience. Also, having 31 posts is irrelevant when many of his posts are to correct something or give little to no information. In post 191, jmo16mla wrote:

Flay, I quite dislike your response to Mindgamer expressing his suspicion of your behaviour.
By preemptively calling out that scum is going to WIFOM everything you do, you are freeing yourself from questioning if anything else comes up later.
On top of that, 184 is pure WIFOM, you could say that this was a perfect way to a lynch for you, because it's so ridiculous that nobody will believe scum did it.
aside from that, I don't see the relevance of this:
You lynched in 165, which is ~12 hours later, care to explain? In post 184, Mr. Flay wrote:Yes, I missed it. 159 was posted two minutes before my 160, at 6 in the morning. It probably just showed up in Post Review (since I was responding to 158), and I was only half awake...
Another thing that doesn't sit right with me at all in the events surrounding the lynch.
Jmo says this:In post 146, jmo16mla wrote:Then go back and look. Stop playing around and saying I think I believe if I remember.
VOTE: The Acting Method
and then, right after the lynch its suddenly this:In post 153, jmo16mla wrote:TAM has done no scum hunting. vote him. hes scum.
This is very weird, TAM didn't suddenly change behaviour or anything (and thus continues to being scum because no scumhunting) but two full minutes after the lynch he shows up and says TAM is town..In post 166, jmo16mla wrote:meh. im feeling that this is wrong. Scum TAM isnt going to sit and be voted for not being active and continue to not be active...
On top of that he's been busy trying to suck up to flay (132,185) and he has done little more than throwing out easy votes without backing it up with reasoning.
I think it's likely that they are both scum, but since I can't vote for two people, I feel stronger about JMO at the moment.

I didn't think that was lynch. Did you feel my FLAY was faked?
TAM not participating kinda sounds like why I called him out for being scum right?
Typically, scum won't continue to lurk if get called out on it and get voted up. Hence, me calling him more than likely town.
Would your case be completely different had TAM flipped scum?
I'm almost guaranteeing there was at least one scum on TAM's wagon. Cut out me, and flay(who I wasn't sucking up to I just have a town read on him)town: 15:13 Scum 4:4- Mr. Flay

Will post more tonight or over lunch if I feel like wrestling my phone that much. My grandfather died yesterday, this week just got superstupid.
Anyway, to the person who asked about WIFOM, you're essentially proving my point. Because of my playstyle, I always draw at least one wagon throughout a game, but almost never a lynch. The lynching blunder will perhaps magnify that here, but it always happens. If I do something unexpected in the current meta, I get wagoned. If I look confTown, I get wagoned because I'm a deadly arguer (sometimes called "Lynch Flay Just In Case". If I'm terse, I get wagoned for "lurking". So I'm ready and expect it at some point. That doesn't mean I get to just blow it off when it happens, I still have to argue the case.Retired as of October 2014.- notscience

Not Science: Townblock… meaning?
Jmo: “Flay is likely town” what makes you so certain?
My logic may not make sense…. BAUT I think the accidental lynch would make sense for a scum to-do. At least in a newbie game. I think he knows everyone would believe him because it seems so unreasonable that he’d do it exactly like he said. “what's my scum motivation for taking such a crap route to a D1 lynch? More attention on me for the rest of the game?” Though to be honest I believe it was a truthful mistake.
In response to Mindgamers section on the great and powerful Fart Bane, I didn’t want to see a hammer I meant for her to claim and explain her argument. I misused the word claim. Not like I’m blah blah blah because. More like claiming in why her argument makes sense. This must sound at least a little bit stupid cause reading it over it did for me.... BAUT I assure you I'm not lying.- notscience
