In post 283, Mindgamer wrote:Last two pages are rather dull. The Notscience/Bane exchange doesn't tell me much about their alignments. Only thing I'm curious about is Bane's apparent amnesia concerning votetags. He started the game using[b/], then voted correctly three times in a row, but is now back to having the[b/]problems. I'm not sure if this is clumsiness or just an act.
Same for me really. The-Duck is an odd one: He's asking good questions and his cases are logical, yet I don't feel much of a presence from him in this game. It's like you could cut him away and this game wouldn't be much different. In post 249, Mr. Flay wrote:In fact you've NEVER mentioned The-Duck.
Vote one of us, then. Your play has been exceptionally weak today. I just don't have a good feeling about either. One of the two is scum. I find it unlikely that both would be lurking at the same time.
the first post is absolutely useless. In post 284, Mindgamer wrote:This is going te be a double post, but I actually want to continue a bit: This game feels dull because nothing is happening. We have used up half of our time and there have been no meaningful wagons. We have two L-2 wagons, but neither is close to a lynch. This is not going to give us any hints towards scum.
I think we should really start to consider a lynch before we get into 'deadline lynch' terriotry. Who do you guys want to lynch?
For me, even though I do not consider myself part of any bloc, the people on Notscience's theoretical bloc are actually the people I do not want to lynch today. That leaves Number_0ne, Fart Bane and The-Duck. At this point I feel like lynching Number_0ne because there's an actual case on him, but I wouldn't be opposed to voting Bane or Duck if there are good arguments against them ('scumslip' and 'he's not in the townbloc' aren't good arguments).
I would like to hear everyone's scumspects now. This means concretely that I want to see:
The-Duck: Who do you want to lynch besides Jmo (that wagon is not going anywhere atm)? What do you think of the Number_0ne and Fart Bane wagons? Would you support either?
Jmo: Who do you want to lynch? If you say Duck or me, make a case. If you don't, explain which other wagon you think has scum (N1, Bane or Notscience) and vote accordingly.
I'm out of time, but you catch my drift.
I changed my mind because of how they're reacting to each other. I can no longer understand what notscience is doing, and I read over their arguments again, which made me believe that they're not bussing. In post 301, The-Duck wrote:Could you elaborate on what you were afraid of when you decided to not make the situation more volatile? In post 295, Number_0ne wrote:The reason I didn't change my vote is because it would make the entire situation more volatile, with the 3 people who aren't on notscience's townbloc putting him at L-1. Do you believe a scum would come in and quickhammer (and then get away with it)?
Why do you suddenly believe that FB and NS can't be scum togheter, even though you quite clearly hinted at that idea in response to NS stating that you are bussing?
There's several problems with this post.In post 304, Number_0ne wrote:I changed my mind because of how they're reacting to each other. I can no longer understand what notscience is doing, and I read over their arguments again, which made me believe that they're not bussing.
As for making the situation more volatile, it's because I was worried about this causing the townbloc to be formed. I firmly believe that there is at least 1 mafia in there, most likely notscience. Even if he is town, I'm not willing to risk the game on the credibility of his townbloc.
I'm only slightly suspicious of jmo, but I'm highly suspicious of you right now.In post 305, notscience wrote:There's several problems with this post.In post 304, Number_0ne wrote:I changed my mind because of how they're reacting to each other. Lets go over them, shall we.
1) The only person in my suggested townbloc that he has EXPRESSED misgivings about is jmo. And even then, they seem to have subsided.
I'm firmly confident that you are scum. I don't need to discredit you. And supposing you weren't, in what way would the flip be ignored? Or my so-called 'null' read on Fart Bane?In post 305, notscience wrote: Lets look at his most recently announced reads on those who ARENT in my townbloc- Hm, that's funny. I do intend to vote him. It's just that I wanted to give people a bit more time to discuss during the day period. Mr. Flay wanted to go over something, and other people might want to discuss things as well.In post 307, The-Duck wrote:If you are so confident in him being scum, why don't you want to vote him?

And here's what you're saying. If I'm town my flip won't be ignored, but you're trying to dissolve my townbloc before you see my flip because once you do you will have to result to hardcore discredits. For someone so firmly sure I'm scum you haven't laid out legitimate reasons, no?

brb quoting
This is the last time you mention a read on The-duck, and Fart Bane is your scumread. You keep saying you think scum is in it but it's probably not me. How Jmo is supsicious too. Now, what's weird is that rather than come out and say why I'm wrong, you're just trying to say "nah don't trust him guys." Why would town need to do that? What happens when I'm confirmed town? He goes after Jmo.In post 140, Number_0ne wrote:Well, let's see what I've missed. Jmo seems to have not provided much information, and my initial town read on him has changed, as I'm finding him to be a bit scummy.
Mr. Flay is looking pretty town to me now, given his recent posts.
I'm neutral on the-duck and zakk at the moment. Can't really tell what side they're on.
My feelings towards notscience being scum have diminished, given his responses to Fart Bane, although not entirely.
Fart Bane also is seeming a bit scummy over his reasoning on notscience. Still, I don't see enough at the moment to justify a vote.
TAM could be a playstyle thing, like what The-Duck said. Unfortunately, I cannot address any of his suspicions against me when I don't know what they are. Still, he looks town to me.
Endernys...I don't even know.
For now, I'llVote: Jmomostly out of my instinct. I'm finding his play to be evasive, by not providing at least a bit of insight or giving reasons.
Intent is not the same as hammer. And by the time you claim, we wait for counterclaims, etc, it's not that early at ALL.In post 299, notscience wrote:Intent to hammer this early in the day.
Jeez flay, you know how I feel about ending the day short.
Confirmation bias. You're reading EVERYTHING as scum from your "suspects" and nothing from your townbloc. That will lose us the game. Townbloc is NOT for games this small! Margin of error is too... marginal. In post 309, notscience wrote:Why do you all think he's fighting the townbloc so hard? Neither him nor his scumbuddy are in it.
You were never confirmed town. I just said that I found you less suspicious at that time, before you decided to try to make a townbloc. I don't see how this is relevant to what is being discussed now.In post 309, notscience wrote:This is the last time you mention a read on The-duck, and Fart Bane is your scumread. This quote is from October 14th. I don't usually do a lot of meta, but ns is hard for me to read because he's so chaotic. This obsession with townbloc is driviing a lot of my suspicion, because in a game this small it CAN be a scummy move, especially when the player proposing it isn't conftown themselves. In post 1355, Wisdom wrote:ns is my strongest townread. Do you NOT see how anti town this game has been? We have had one major wagon a day. Seems rather easy to just sit back, hop onto a wagon, and then not do anything for the rest of the day.In post 315, Mr. Flay wrote:This quote is from October 14th. And yes, Wisdom is scum in that game, but he says the same thing postgame. notsci's play there is very different, full of cases and arguments and chasing down reads (often wrong, but that's the game). Here he's laying back and going "welp, gotta townhunt instead!". I really don't like it.
