No. There were 2 third party and a handful of town remaining. All killing roles had been eliminated. Town won if All scum were eliminated and the ring destroyed. The third parties won if all scum were eliminated and had possession of the ring. The third party who won could steal the ring (last action of every night phase) and was invulnerable if they had the ring. The ring could also be taken by hammering the person holding it.

The only way the outcome could have been different is if thee had been a night killing role left in the game.

So why is it you're utterly familiar with waynegg's scumplay when his only completed scumgame to date is LOTR mafia? You weren't in LOTR, and yet quickly were able to answer my questions about the mechanic. You can't be recalling Wayne's scumplay from anything but LOTR or the scum quicktopic where he told you his style of bussing. I thought you might have pre-meta'd all the players here, but morph was in achievement, and both ffery and I were in vox's paradox prime.

I've never seen his scumplay firsthand, but I had heard in another game that he had a history of bussing partners. what I quoted was based off the impression I got of wayne in this game. most of his posts seemed like not really caring about what others thought of him and furthering his own scumhunting/reads/etc. I knew the general idea of the LotR mechanic cause I was randomly browsing Theme Park and I was like "oo lord of the rings" so I clicked on it and thought the mechanic was pretty interesting.

that's something i tend to talk about with everyone, because you know, it's an important part of my life and i feel the need to unnecessarily talk about wayne and that game at every opportunity.

the team of varsoon + you doesn't make much sense, however one of you could still be scum independently of the other.
