I actually meant to make this one of my serious alts, but then I got bored.

So far, my recollections and mental summaries of this game consist of me being upset over people being hard to read, being upset over people resorting to ad hominem, and being upset over just being upset in general. It hasn't exactly produced a scumhunting-positive side of me.

Pretty sure there was a Sakura-AtE moment in this thread, but maybe it just feels like it's been happening a lot lately. Idk.

I agree with the latest posts/cases on Mara. As for things earlier on, all my games are blurring together (see: altslip).

His early game reminded me of a couple recent town games where he wasn't in a huge hurry to get down to business developing reads and sorting people. Day 1 of Xenogears leaps to mind.

I think Nacho-scum would have been setting someone up for (mis)lynch a lot earlier.

Alright I finished my reread. I didn't come to any earth-shattering conclusions and I still like my vote so I'll just give some thoughts on the players.

Nacho: I still like him for town based on the early wagon on him. His play here feels very different from how he's been before, but every time I play with Nacho he feels like a different player. For the most part his reads lists look solid. Don't agree about Sakura though.

Startfromtheheart: He's playing a very loosey goosey game and that's making him hard to read. His recent Boro vote is solid though I think. He's someone to watch but not a high priority at the moment.

REGINA+: 51 is still the scummiest post in the game to me.

I like thinking of him as scum. It makes sense. The argument is less confusing, at least.

This is REGINA's current vote, or at least it would be if it counted. I don't know what kind of town mindset votes for people because they like the idea of them being scum. Also based on this I think REGINA and Sound of Silence aren't partners.

notscience/Sound of Silence: My view on these slots is muddied by the long argument between notsience/ETL. It usually takes a few rereads and possibly a couple of flips for me to get a handle on fights like that. Neither is a priority right now though. Wake's posts felt slightly scummy, but some of ETL's early defense felt like town. Notscience I think is overestimating his cases, and it's a conveniently simplistic view of the game to have townreads on everyone but the lurkers.

marcrell: To be honest I'm not getting much out of this guy. Mostly of the things he talks about are pretty irrelevant. He seems allergic to taking any kind of stance, which can be a bad sign. He's still on his RVS vote.

mario4: Not much here at all. A vote without explanation (303) I think is scummy. I'm usually more tempted to make a vote like that as scum. Need more info.

bubbajack8: Even though he's one of the more active posters, nothing much from him stands out either way. One thing:

Another reason for no pressure on lurkers. Doesn't want newbie flail. I think that NS doesn't want to pressure the lurkers because his scum buddy is a lurker. I'd also like to say I think it's a new person. As he's worried about newbie flail. It's one thing to be worried about mislynching someone, but to just worry about newbie flail is sad.

Normally I'd call complicated "conspiracy theories" like this town, but this one feels off. While reading notscience's post I imagined this exact argument as one scum could use against him.

Borophil: His early "counterwagon" case on Bubba is bad and can of hard to believe. He's made several posts that are just bizarre. 244, 301, and 328 fall into that category. He also failed to answer the question I asked him in 259.

Neonizer: Still seems town. His posts are short, but he's looking beyond the surface level. His concern of others' townread on him is town. Scum are more likely to just roll with those townreads rather than worry about the motivation behind them.

Sakura Hana: Very fake vote on Nacho as I've pointed out. She declares Nacho scum for not voting, but then sheeps him as soon as he gives a gut vote, one no one should find compelling enough to sheep. How serious are we supposed to take her vote on Nacho? I don't really have anything new to say about Sakura, but it's worth repeating.

Top three scumreads: REGINA, Sakura, Boro.

I'm pretty happy with my earlier reads on notscience/bubba and think we should probably lynch one of them. Other than that, anyone targetting me is looking for an easy lynch.

I want to go back and look at what was happening in the thread when she was posting. But, a big huge ugly t v t fight is awesome for scum. They can let it run, they can encourage it, they can vote whichever side is losing the yelling contest, and they might even get a mislynch out of it.

All I remember about mara is that I don't remember her commenting on it one way or another, which could be alignment neutral, but I'm a little concerned. I don't have her in my top tier town pile.

this is true, and I got to worrying when ETL started voting himself. (Which is why I refused to vote him) Because if ETL flipped town, that's an almost too easy lynch on NS. and if NS was town, we made a big mistake. I still don't think notscience is town though.

I think you were getting a ton of 'maybe just a newb' help there. If you're town, then you know stuff about the FoSes and votes on you that nobody else can really appreciate. Do you think any of the players who have pushed for your lynch are scum? Do you think scum stayed off your wagon?
