Because that's a bad reason to do that; mislynching quadz the cop in this situation now that SD has become completely fucking town is something that we can handle.

I'd sooner lynch you than nolynch. Just because we get a free lynch probably, doesn't mean we don't have to use it. I guess there isn't any *harm* n letting SD and quadz continue existing, but I feel like letting these sorts of things continue existing always turns out badly.

he created the 1v1 when he was run up to L-1 when he pretty much had a extremely strong reason for calling SD caught scum when his claim became clear. Now that people are talking like there isn't scum in the two of them, quadz backs off and starts going "oh, well, I do suppose we both could be town!"

So let's do it this way.
-Ability verification means nothing when abilities have nothing to do with alignment.
-I think quadz expected SD to get lynched after he claimed and then quadz was gonna go down afterwards. But then after he DID claim, other people started supplying the "they could both be town" reasoning and quadz embraced the hell out of that. That was scummy.
-He could have not put himself in the weak 1v1, but there's no guarantee he would have been saved.
