#2 I am expecting more than it just coming out of nowhere. As you've quoted and I stated, I find that ETL is changing his reads because it's convenient, rather than coming from a protown mindset.

But that read didn't come out of nowhere. F-16 scumread started to degrade, ETL started pushing on someone who wasn't posting much content. If you're talking about convenient read switches, I think you'll find a much better case on Bulbazak.

#4 The agenda is simple. Find something, anything that will stick and provide a lynch. His reads aren't coming from a protown mindset in my opinion. They are erratic, crass, and just plain opportunistic. F-16 was town because other people were calling him town. Then ETL had an opportunity to call him scum because others started to. This read isn't evolving. His read on TPR is the same. He is changing his reads in hope of pushing a lynch through. That's not coming from a town mindset. That's a scum mindset to get a lynch through with very little cause. These are my problems with ETL in this game. While I hesitate to call anyone else scum because I can see somethings that come from a protown mindset there is NOTHING from ETL's play that reads to me as coming from a protown mindset.

What do you think of ETL's push on you when there are juicy Bulbazak and pitoli wagons she can hop on?

I remember this because people made a giant ordeal about PoisonIvy saying this and called it a scumtell back then, but if a townie feels that they might be mislynched, there's nothing wrong with saying they don't mind if a cop investigates them so chances are elsewhere. Yes, cop investigating you means that cop isn't investigating scum, but the town lynching you also means that the town isn't lynching scum, and a plead like that is generally trying to avoid being mislynched. You also haven't responded at all to pitoli's claim that she was responding to your daycop joke, which he brought up in #723.

To put it simply, by requesting an investigation, Pitoli has guaranteed that a cop would probably never scan her, and if he did, an innocent result on her would never be trusted, thus resulting in a wasted investigation.

Bulbazak and TPR is what I'm working with right now. TiP's push on TPR makes it look like they aren't scum together, and Bulba's push on TiP makes them look like scum together. T-Bone's play has been... strange (I'll get into what bothered me most after he responds) and he would totally work as a TiP buddy so there's paranoia there as well.

TIP strikes me as town in a way that I can't put my finger on. I'm puzzled because he seems less trolly this game, but even though he's never been analysis-heavy I don't think I've seen him in another game where he was so much in the periphery. Need more interactions with him if I can manage them, tomorrow.

What cop in their right mind would investigate someone who is asking to be investigated? That's just begging for WIFOM. Therefore, it'd be a waste of an investigation.

I recall being right about Elyse, though. I'm learning to trust my gut a bit more, and while my head sees reasons that Pitoli might be town, my gut is screaming otherwise. I just know that if I don't handle this now, it will come back to bite me later.

@ Bulbazak, why are you feeling better about your Pitoli vote after her comments? Also, you know that townies ask to be investigated. That's another reason I am not comfortable with your push. Nacho's example seems to be a good one.

@ Nacho, well I was hoping you would help me narrow down the pool to less than 4 players. But that is what I was thinking as well, except I find TPR much more suspicious than Bulbazak. TPR/T-Bone could work as a scumteam but I am not sure. How sure are you about Bulbazak? Is this read coming mostly from ffery or from you? Also, can you provide the link for the game you mentioned where the townie asked to be investigated?

Normally I think T-Bone would be in my townpile about now but not today.

T-Bone's been pushing ETL since his entrance and as everybody has already said, they just can't picture what scum would have to gain from that. Isn't that the point though? Scum aren't going to make moves they will overtly profit from. I'm very suspicious of T-Bone and people should be more discerning of him. Pushing a lynch on ETL who's definitely not getting lynched today - yes that seems counterintuitive to scum, but not if the potential towncred earned outweighs the lost voting power.
