Is this to me?In post 749, F-16_Fighting_Falcon wrote:There are less than 24 hours left. I'd like your thoughts on Bulbazak and Pitoli today and who you find scummier. It seems unlikely that anyone else will get lynched today.

You also said that asking to be investigated as town prevents the cop from finding a guilty that night. In post 741, Bulbazak wrote:What cop in their right mind would investigate someone who is asking to be investigated? That's just begging for WIFOM. Therefore, it'd be a waste of an investigation.
I think the Bulbazak scumread is as good as it'll ever be, really. There's always doubt on pushing him because it is Bulbazak, but I'm pretty sure I'll be able to sort T-Bone with a little bit of interaction, TPR has been a middling scumread for a while and seems like a great place for a lynch right about now, and TiP has had strong not scumbuddy interactions with 2/3 of the remaining suspects, which is a pretty great sign.In post 742, F-16_Fighting_Falcon wrote:Nacho, well I was hoping you would help me narrow down the pool to less than 4 players. But that is what I was thinking as well, except I find TPR much more suspicious than Bulbazak. TPR/T-Bone could work as a scumteam but I am not sure. How sure are you about Bulbazak? Is this read coming mostly from ffery or from you? Also, can you provide the link for the game you mentioned where the townie asked to be investigated?
"Given as I don't have any better suspects" - that's almostIn post 718, Bulbazak wrote:I'm actually not sure what to think of her. Part of me still likes that reaction, but the longer I think about her, the more paranoid I get that I might have been right the first time. This is because of my recent track record of correctly identifying scum d1 and letting them go, and also because of the "GF-tell". Given as I don't have any better suspects, I'd rather get this out of the way now, rather than deal with it later in the game.In post 717, sangres wrote:So... you're still reading her as town.In post 716, Bulbazak wrote:I'm on her wagon right now for paranoia's sake.
But you're voting her because you don't want to be wrong?

Obviously pitoli is scummier but that doesn't mean Bulbazak isn't scum.
Like, I don't want to omgus but Bulbazak's made sketchy decisions all game.

Because that was some pretty survivalistic maneuvering on her part. She's preparing herself to hop on my wagon, but wants it to look as natural as possible. I think that's referred to as posturing? In post 742, F-16_Fighting_Falcon wrote:@ Bulbazak, why are you feeling better about your Pitoli vote after her comments?
Just because townies sometimes do it doesn't mean that it should stop being a cause of concern. In post 742, F-16_Fighting_Falcon wrote: Also, you know that townies ask to be investigated. That's another reason I am not comfortable with your push. Nacho's example seems to be a good one.
If town is asking to be investigated, that means they are asking the cop to not investigate scum that night for the selfish desire to be cleared, which, as I said, is now WIFOM anyway, just because they asked. In post 753, sangres wrote:You also said that asking to be investigated as town prevents the cop from finding a guilty that night. In post 741, Bulbazak wrote:What cop in their right mind would investigate someone who is asking to be investigated? And you've seen yourself be repeatedly wrong on me. You've also seen my early reads be accurate. If you're town, I'm asking you to trust me.In post 742, F-16_Fighting_Falcon wrote: I think the Bulbazak scumread is as good as it'll ever be, really.
I'm pretty sure I've explained myself pretty well, but Pitoli is the only choice atm.In post 757, TheIrishPope wrote:Obviously pitoli is scummier but that doesn't mean Bulbazak isn't scum.

If it's between Bulb and Pit, I'm sticking with Bulb.
Seriously.
Seriously.
I think the point that everyone has been making and that you're obtusely ignoring is that someone asking to be cleared does not mean they're scum. Yes, it's suboptimal town play, but not necessarily a scum move.In post 759, Bulbazak wrote:If town is asking to be investigated, that means they are asking the cop to not investigate scum that night for the selfish desire to be cleared, which, as I said, is now WIFOM anyway, just because they asked.

You won't.In post 760, Lastsurvivor wrote:If it's between Bulb and Pit, I'm sticking with Bulb.
I understand that. However, the amount of WIFOM it produces is extremely harmful to town. There's no way I want her making it to endgame after that. Therefore, we either lynch her now or later. I'm electing now.In post 760, Lastsurvivor wrote: I think the point that everyone has been making and that you're obtusely ignoring is that someone asking to be cleared does not mean they're scum. I said you were a good compromise vote, but there were still other choices. At this point in time, though, Pitoli is the only choice. You can either vote her now or closer to deadline. It's up to you.In post 761, TheIrishPope wrote:@Bulbazak some pages ago you preached I was the only choice, so yeah

It happens. Nacho just got out of a game where this happened to me near the end of d1, and I was unfortunately unable to recover.

12 hours to go. I'll give you 7 to come to your senses.
ETL, where are you? Why aren't you voting for Pitoli yet?
P-edit: I think he's just really earnest in thinking you're scum, in much the same way LS is on me. If Pitoli is scum, it's unlikely that he is as well. Regardless, he's not getting lynched today. Vote Pitoli with me.

Not for nothing, I could have been convinced ETL was town...if he...
- Didn't flip-flop reads/do the things I originally found him scummy for
- Explained his motives for these things rather then attacking me for seeing them
- Attacking me for seeing all the scummy things he was/is doing
- Took an interest in other players since he started doing the third thing
These are some major scummy issues I have with ETL, and until they've been resolved my scumread is going to remain solid. Now while trying to get his lynch today isn't going to work, I keep mentioning it so we could think about revisiting this tomorrow. Between Bulba or Pitoli, I'm leaning Pitoli. I'm not satisfied with his 'catch-up' and while I have concerns about Bulba (the whole compromisegate), he's engaged in this game and I see some honesty in his approach currently. Is he doing some self-preservation right now? Sure, but it happens in both alignments. This is where my head is at right now.
With 12 hours to go, asking for votes on someone other than the leading wagons is derailing. Here's a question for everyone, who here will be satisfied if we end the day in a no lynch?

That was more of a rhetorical question, as I think most of us prefer a lynch over a no lynch.
