I told you already, it was not (and is not) my priority to figure that out. Nor am I going to look at it to figure it out now for your peace of mind. If you can't accept that as an answer then that's not my problem.
In post 3216, Nero Cain wrote:Also you calling me a mouthpiece while calling me scum seems like a disconnect.
I don't see the disconnect when my point was that it felt like we would be the main talking points tomorrow and I didn't want that to happen?
In post 3219, Harakiri wrote:I still don't see how Molla would think Tailor can be town-aligned in any scenario, and why the fuck would you advertise Love Potion despite us talking about it before. I think that molla was trying to hide it in the cacophony that is his advertising. Scum motivation is setting up to use their money advantage to sneak all of them up on a mass level.
The thing about Tailor was more that BB thought the ability was only specifically toward cop with a bunch of very hard to work with conditionals that made it effectively useless. Which you'd know if you read his posts regarding that. -_-

As for LP, idk, that's for him to answer and it's made me raise my eyebrows, too.

For the last bit...I'm not really seeing what's so scum-motivated there. They want to bring up a massive amount of town abilities and buy them?

Yeah, but that still doesn't explain why you'd ever advertise it.

Kill players with lots of money->Put lots of abilities on market->Buy them while the town is without money(and thank Seanald for being literally the worst player in this game)

We're you not expecting scum to activate Deadline? The question, of course, is, "Who activated it?". Someone who wasn't online til now, probably. Eagle's a good bet.

wow

my insane theory was that scum waited to use it just to fk with people, and then come in going "xxx wasn't online till it was used so it has to be him". but now that my scumread actually did it, I have no idea what to even think

just one thing, can you explain why eagle? he had a few posts before it got activated 0.0

I think the majority of the list is of pro-town and/or not-pro-scum abilities, and BB's mind at the time saw Tailor as not-pro-scum and thus included it.
In post 3226, Harakiri wrote:Kill players with lots of money->Put lots of abilities on market->Buy them while the town is without money(and thank Seanald for being literally the worst player in this game)
As plausible as that is, it would still require scum to have the money to spend to buy each one, which I think shouldn't actually be possible under the assumption that at least on N2 everyone truthfully gave all/most of their money to one of those 6 people. sure, they might get, like, $50 or so from last night (I think, anyways) or whatever and efficiency bonus, but unless they were already sitting on a good hoard of cash how are they going to have enough money to keep most or all of those abilities out of town's hands?

What?
In post 3228, Harakiri wrote:This post's timing is super awkward.
Well, I could almost see town-eagle getting and activating deadline just to see me die. Which is pretty damn sad, if you think about it.

I think scum didn't donate their whole cash. That ignores the obvious scenarios of them "sending" their money to Pyrotechnics/scum operative in 6 as well.
What?
Did you expect that the scum would not use Deadline if they got it.
Well, I could almost see town-eagle getting and activating deadline just to see me die. Which is pretty damn sad, if you think about it.
Then I'm legit policy lynching him, because between him and Seanald we're losing the night phase.

I want a lynch before midnight tonight.

That's also likely, but again I don't think it'd be enough to allow them to buy all or even the majority of what BB advertised.
In post 3230, Harakiri wrote:Did you expect that the scum would not use Deadline if they got it.
It was a possibility, but it seems more like an ability to use as soon as you get it rather than one to save.

have you seen how hard he's been pushing for my death? That's what I'm saying I could almost see this as a way to see me die. I'm hoping eagle isn't THAT dumb (though saying he would Freeze Pro's vote onto me is still stupid, just not as much as deadlining for that), but I'm not crossing my fingers over it.

I think getting a lynch before midnight on Saturday would be more reasonable. It'll certainly take me an hour or two to comb through the thread if more than 2-4 pages show up while I'm away.

@hara:

1. Agree to disagree?

2. Yrs, they did, which is what I guessed yesterday and expected today. I'm not quite sure what you're getting at.

3. I'm cool with lynching eagle or ud.

4. Short version is eagle has scumread me since day 1 because he thinks I WKed LB and everything I've done since seems to viewed under confbias to say I'm scum by him.

espeonage wrote:If everything I'm saying is as flimsy as your saying, why do you care?
because it's possible you're bullshitting your read on me and the fact you can't come up with anything to actually reinforce the statements you're making about me only supports this
espeonage wrote:can't produce the kinds of read lists that you seemed to expect of your suspects yesterday
lol. that's blatantly
not
what i was asking of nero (i was questioning why he only suspects the people voting him after he'd already given his reads list).

i have a list of people i think are town and don't want to touch (mhork, LB, PV, pieguy, GP, harakiri, upsidedown). but outside of that, my reads are in flux so *shrug*. i still think nero and prohawk are scum. i started suspecting KA towards the end of yesterday for the way he pushed seanald on the financial stuff and how passive he's been playing outside of that. bbmolla is probably scum, but i don't have any strong feelings about this outside of poe + haven't seen much that makes me think town. then there's a group of players i'm not really sure about.
nero wrote:You accuse me of static reads but when my reads change its also scummy?
no, the point was that your reads
outside
of the people attacking you are static. i already know how much your read changed on the players attacking you after they started attacking you.
pieguy wrote:the thing that pinged me the most was actually you staying off his wagon
*shrug* i stated intent to put him at L-1 before i went to sleep, someone else put him at L-1, someone else claimed intent to hammer. there was no reason for me to cut off discussion.

Hey Muffin, what's your Voided read?
Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

So you think I'm scum since players are correctly meta reading me and there's a resistance to my wagon yet Voided has escaped lynches two days in a row. I'd say that's some pretty good resistance....so why are you applying that tell to me but not to Voided?

what resistance has there been to a voided wagon? i can count the number of people who have called him town throughout the game on one hand.

the only reason a voided wagon didn't happen yesterday is because people swung over to the seanald wagon 24 hours before the deadline.

like most of the people voting other players are
also fine
with a voided lynch happening, so that's not really resistance.

So Voided is the leading wagon

then we lynch DP

Voided is again the leading wagon

We lynch Sean.

You pretending like that's not resistance to his wagon is something I'd expect more a 2013 join date but considering the source...

Ok, what adj. would you use to describe Voided inability to get lynched?

like, this is the voided wagon at its peak yesterday

VoidedMafia (7): 1baldeagle1, uʍop ǝpısdn, ProHawk, Nero Cain, Seanald, pieguyn, BBmolla
Nero Cain (5): zMuffinMan, Lord Mhork, Harakiri, VoidedMafia, Lost Butterfly
KingdomAces (2): Garuda, morph the cat
Seanald (1): PeregrineV
zMuffinMan (1): Espeonage

Not Voting (2): KingdomAces, Ghostly Penguin

harakiri swung over to voided after this, morph thought voided was scum, PV was obviously fine with voided as seen by his end of day vote, espeonage didn't mention a voided scum read but was willing to vote voided, and KA i dunno. if you count tammy as a player still in the game yesterday, they thought voided was scum too.

mhork was the only one vehemently resisting the voided wagon, and i think garuda is townreading voided, too.

what resistance was there to his lynch?

wait, you're using a wagon on a SCUM player as evidence of resistance to a voided wagon?

and the seanald wagon happening wasn't due to resistance against the voided wagon as far as i can tell. although what's your take on it if you think that's the case?
