I see the points on MME but I think there are more sure bets than analyzing an excuse to post. That road isn't one I'm willing to go down this far into the game.
Especially when theres a giant hulk with red flags sticking out his ass running around a minefield one street down.

Sorry about not getting around to this last night, I didn't exactly go back tomyhouse last night, was tempted to try and sneak on my phone to check up on it but decided she would find it weird, from the looks of it though the thread didn't have a massive explosion and I didn't miss too much.
Hey Slaxx! Been ages man, shitty thing is I had a scum-read on TSO (His reads list and manner and timing of replacing out both really bother me) but I'm fairly confident I can get a solid enough read on you in time; do like your Post 422 so far and actually think that's probably where my votes going to go.
Kid A's popping in Post 385 9 minutes after someone questioned where he went kills the town read I had on him, I find that scum are much more often actively lurking the thread only to jump in and defend themselves of accusations (Scum reads / lurking ect.), best example I can think of at the top of my head is my scum read on LLD in Maf Maidens Post 402 (I'm a hydra head of Duplicity) and her instaneous response 3 minutes later in Post 403. It means that the person is following the thread intensely enough to know whether they've been mentioned or not but only willing to come in and refer to that rather than their thoughts and reads on the game which is very much scum motivated. Glad to ICE sees it the same way I do too.
TvK, I wanted an answer to Post 305, your reads list there doesn't match your "lots of town reads" comment so walk me through where I'm wrong please.
Mollie, you're best off just going straight to Empire and asking him because he knows my town vs scum play like the back of his hand (Just like how I know his) though Fferys assessment is relatively close to right, missing a few distinctions though.
Now to the meaty section; I agree entirely with Slaxx's point on HavingFitz's vote change in Post 394, him suddenly scum reading TSO and changing his vote to him when there looked to be a potential wagon forming reads as opportunistic and he's also right in that Fitz constantly repeated his scum read on Herself but never actually attempted to gather support to lynch them, just to de-credit them and attack their points on him. I went back and re-read his Post 311 again and Desps points about the "town reads" in Post 330 is literally spot on; if Fitz really scum read Herself he'd have been following their posts and their reads and would have noticed that their town-reads mesh with his entirely and thus wouldn't have made that comment. Also anotherBIG thing I noticed is that the"I’m not sure I could be sheeping you. Given your push on me I doubt you can recognize town"comes across as if he knows that Herself is town which contradicts with him having a scum read on them, especially the strength he claims to have one.

We uh kind of want lurkers to flake and sub out. It means they'll be replaced by someone that's likely more active and thus more readable. In post 428, Garmr wrote:Do you think it's a good idea to hop on the fitz wagon or get rid of a lurker first since they are likely to sub out/flake?- LolWagons

Booze, lots of it but I don't recommend it. At the moment I feel like I'm watching the town read core eat itself a little from the inside out, and I'm planning to sit back, munch a few cashews, and see where all their meta lands them. Right at this stage I don't have a strong enough opinion about who to lynch to suggest you sheep anything I say.In post 428, Garmr wrote:@SG I originally planned to get rid of the lurkers first and pursue a fitz lynch day 2. People need to be a little more gutsy this game. I almost got a hernia reading p5-10 as nothing seemed to happen but my town reads jacking each other off or slapping each other in the face with their penii.
I dont care if theres a wagon on me, or fitz, or MME, or anyone really, but so far I dont think anyone has exceeded more than three votes on them. If we went into night with only one wagon Id be disappointed and we would be shortchanging ourselves. We need to be more liberal with our votes.- LolWagons

And a bed time story? I really suggest you read my case on Fitz though, on a re-read I think his entire phrasing towards Herself that I italicized has him talking to the slot as if heIn post 433, Squirrel Girl wrote:A glass of warm milk and a cozy blankie?knowsthat they're town which contradicts so massively with his scum read on them that it's not funny. Also not really getting what you mean by "town read core eating itself alive" at all, walk me through it?
PEdit: I read Fitz's accusation that Herself shouldn't be trusted re; town reads ect. as a town-tell the first time but then read Desps Post 329 and Post 330 and was thinking about that at at the bar, decided to re-read it today and looking at it the entire thing is off, doesn't match in many ways 1) Him claiming to scum read them then claiming to have no idea what their reads are and 2) The phrasing not meshing with his scum-read on them. Your points were just cake icing really (That he never really attempted to garner support for the Herself lynch, just de-crediting aim and his opportunistic vote).- Regfan

I know where you're coming from, I just don't entirely agree. I think lots of wagons in a day can actually have some harm in that it can 1) Potentially out role-claims earlier than we'd like and 2) Favour scum given they have daytalk and can easily manipulate a wagon to end up being an actual lynch. In post 435, LolWagons wrote:I dont care if theres a wagon on me, or fitz, or MME, or anyone really, but so far I dont think anyone has exceeded more than three votes on them. I personally don't like to vote unless 1) I think the person I vote will have an alignment indicative reaction or 2) I have a scum read that I'm confident in and happy if they get lynched. Plus I kind of like looking back and seeing that I've only voted scum or I've only misvoted 1-2 times ect.- LolWagons

Garmrs probably the person I'm most iffy on in the entire room, there's certain posts of his that I don't like at all for instance Post 49, also think he's actively lurking a lot; great amount of fluff vs actual content (Rarely seen him take stances) but there's also posts that come across as town like Post 139 where I struggle seeing scum come up with that type of theory or Post 180 where I have him as likely town if Fitz is scum and find that post townish regardless tbh. Really though I was kind of hoping to shelve him until I was more solid or had a flip or two to work with.In post 439, LolWagons wrote:Whats your current verdict on Garmr? I can remember a point when Fitz and Kid_A were both mostly in the town read core. Now they are not. Nomnomnom. Even TSO/Wagon has been in and out a few times. In post 437, Regfan wrote:Also not really getting what you mean by "town read core eating itself alive" at all, walk me through it?- Regfan

I think I was the only person that had Fitz as town for a slight period and that wasn't even a strong read? I don't remember Herself, Street or ICE town reading him, similarly Kid A was always my weakest town-read and I don't think Street ever had him as town and I don't think anyones ever had a "strong" town or scum read on TSO other than perhaps ICE. I think you're misunderstanding "town core", it's only aboutIn post 444, Squirrel Girl wrote:I can remember a point when Fitz and Kid_A were both mostly in the town read core. Now they are not. I tried to do meta stuff and failed so i'm with Yah on that front. In post 441, LolWagons wrote:no im not a huge meta person, i only use it on players i am very familiar with and have played in real time with

So to my point. When I am scum I take great pride in my ability to distance myself from others and the ability to survive. So when you try to link me to banksy in that way I feel like your stepping on my pride a little. I am not saying i'm taking it personally or holding it against you but oww.- TvK

This game seems to have so many town people because the people that make up for 90% of the posts are all solid townreads (excluding SG of whom I am still not sure what to think. Most of my scum reads have so few posts, that I actually thought there were less of them.In post 305, Regfan wrote:TvK, you said that "Too many people were coming across as town" in Post 261, I only count 3, maybe 4(?) town reads in Post 280 with you having 6 "scummy" reads and 2 "null" reads (That's assuming Kid A is null not scum), so how are you "Reading too many people as town"?
I feel like Orestes is not planning on coming back to this game, so I'm going through the thread again to see if I can find a better place for my vote. - TvK
