I'm okay revealing scum QT if my cohorts are.

I agree that the town weak doc imbalanced the setup. When I saw the flip, I was wondering if we had a traitor b/c town power felt really high, and our power was low (loud tracker was as much a liability as boon, town also had a RB, and adding the loud modifier to it wasn't a detriment). I tried controlling the dayphase for a while by posting a lot, but once I knew I couldn't move a lynch off Shrumz I figured that trying to lurk the town to death was probably a better strat.

Oh I dunno if Loud Tracker can be considered a liability. What's your argument there?

With the Weak Doc, Town power was probably too high. But keep in mind that without it, there's a Neighbouriser (not necessarily too useful, esp. with only Nighttalk), Poisoner (can and did poison Town as well as scum), Loud Roleblocker (can and did roleblock Town as well as scum), and a Universal Backup. So the Weak Doc was an attempt to create a role that wasn't so double-edged.

I could have argued my way out of the weak doc had my track not been loud. It could also pseudo-confirm townies against me later based on seeing who targeted whom.

Problem with unlimited weak doc it's an insanely powerful role. mangi played it well, but it really should have been gated in some way (x-shot would have been good here). It can clear a ton of townies while protecting them from NKs, as well as then be turned to find scum.

Your complaint against the Loud Tracker seems to be concerned with the existence with the Weak Doctor. You'd agree, then, that without the Weak Doctor the Loud Tracker isn't really a liability?

I'd also point out that it's a smallish chance that the Loud Tracker tracks the Weak Doctor in the first place, theoretically, (an even smaller one that he tracks the Weak Doctor to himself) and even then he is identified as a PR and can be NKd the next Night.

It was a pretty fringe case, and yeah, dependent on a weak visiting role existing. It's just one that feels shitty, since it defeated the core gameplay aspect of the weak modifier (that the weak-PR has to either crumb his targets or risk them not going through. His crumb was ambiguous enough that I would have had a shot at arguing against it if my PR hadn't killed me.)

Oh god, this game... this game...

I enjoyed it. Perhaps the scum/town balance was a bit off. And it probably lies in the Weak Doctor...

But yeah, I actually thought scum was going to win many times during the game. So I'm pleasantly surprised with the win.

Also I should probably give my guesses as to whom Mangi was addressing with their calling out of names.

It woulda been a cool gambit to track a partner to the kill to set up for a fakeclaim later. 3 scum in a 15p doesn't really seem that cool, though.

The Town Weak Doctor should never have existed. It's far too powerful. In hindsight, it should've been a limited Doctor or Cop, or a VT. That's my opinion about the setup balance. I hope the scum don't feel too hard done by: everything just came together perfectly for Town last Night. They lost not because they played particularly poorly, and the Town won not because they played particularly well: it simply came down to two well-informed, well-timed actions from mangi and Stimpson J Cat.

I certainly don't think anything's wrong with the 3:12 ratio. I think the scum were doing pretty well until Day 4. I think 3:12 is the ratio of the future for 15p games.

The activity in this game was too low, but that's okay. I think I prefer it to the Large Themes these days where tens of pages are produced in less than 24 hours and players have to drop out because they're simply too far behind. You guys needed to post more often, but I should've cracked down earlier in the game as well.

I don't really have any comments for individual players. I'll post more if more things pop into my head, I guess.

EDIT1: Oh!
Scum should know that they were able to perform individual actions and the kill on the same Night, as per 'Anyone in your faction may perform the
Factional Kill
ability and other abilities in the same Night.' in their Role PMs.
This could've been the difference between identifying mangi a night earlier and thus killing
her
before
she
nailed Diomedes and what actually went down.

Thanks again for playing!

Dead QT
Scum can reveal their QT if they wish.
FTFY.
Activity was perfect to be frank. I did not have to worry about getting to this game earlier than it needed.

3:12 seems perfectly normal. I thought the game only had 3 scum from the very beginning.

Good game, everyone.

Don't think I'll rhyme this time (oh wait).

GG all. If you've read the Dead QT then you've probably figured out that I'm Alduskkel. I am curious as to who's who.

Weak Doctor was a bit powerful, but I think Shrumz and Ruthless MD were caught fair and square. Whether or not you think scum were cheated out of a win is dependent on whether or not you think PD could have won solo I think (or whether or not you think there should have been a 4th scum).

When the weak doctor flip I thought that Edgar was an informed traitor, because his push on Shrumz looked informed. The case on Shrumz looked overstated, and I was planning on using that to push him at some point.

I had a shot at winning solo, but it would have taken me stepping up my game towards the end. I would have had to have gotten 3 mislynches (assuming mangi would have been a VT or some other non-impactful role, 8 alive, 5 alive after the poison goes through, 3 alive). Squirrel and Jolly would have probably been my NKs, and I think everyone else except maybe Big Gov would have been mislynchable if I played it well enough.

Alt games should happen more often. I liked this game a lot. I may be biased that I was a power role.
I think prods should be 24 hours or so in alt games. Easy to forgot about a game like this.

I'm curious to know who Squirrel is.

Town seemed a bit overpowered given the 3:12 distribution. Probably would've been more even with the weak doc being a VT but that's my 2c.
