If I'm scum I would know that you are a killing doc, which would guarantees that Jacob is either the JK (which means you were available as a kill) or Naive (which means Shos was available for the kill) and given my status in the game a no kill wouldn't even have been that bad of an outcome. I would have taken the chance and just gotten Jake MLed instead.

Des had no idea what doc I am since I am the role that Rat had, can be anything, not killing role, so if SG is town and des is scum, then the only way for the kill to go through is if *I* am teh naive doc, odds for which are zero since naive is TSO or SG, otherwise they'd have protected the kill. with Jacob protecting me, same idea as above, I can't be a target. so Jacob it is anyway. scum know from N1 which one of TSO and SG are the killing role and which one is the naive; if SG is a killer, then either lose helplessly, or Jacob dies, and if she's naive, then jacob dies too, so it doesn't matter.

In fact, as town, that was my thought process all of D2. I said as much then.

that's wrong. you would know her role, but you would only know that she is a confirmed killing role IF you killed bazinga and not PA. if you killed PA then she would be confirmed Naive for you. now, in the last line foe your post, you say that during all D2 that was your thought process - aka, before TSO died; at that point, you could have NO IDEA which of the two is correct. so as town, that makes no sense to have thought that during D2.

If I were her I would obviously target Des. as town I'd say that Jacob is super more scummy, so if I shoot des and not win immediately, we will easily win at lylo.
