I wasn't 100% sure. I didn't really have a read on you independently other than that you had leaning town reads on the flipped scum: Gnomeo and Peacebringer/IceGuy. I thought you were playing to your town meta but didn't really step in and derail the lynch. I'll add it to the list of regrets I have about this game.

Voided, don't get me wrong, I don't think this is some unforgiveable mistake. I like you as a mod. People make mistakes and in the grand scheme of things this is small.

No, it's not unforgivable in and of itself. but after I've had at least 5-6 games out of 7 where I've made one kind of mod error or another in the background? That's too much.

I wish I stuck to my townread of BBmolla and lynched Minions there itself. I considered voting Molla at the start of the day and not removing it. Nothing that Toog or Minions did could have interfered with that (unless they voted me) if I put my vote down first.

You have to realize that it would have been a clean sweep had Minions not had a confirmable role. Town were all on the same page, scum were playing very poorly.

Sadly, Scum Cop pretty much made Minions unlynchable and we had to start eating through ourselves trying to figure out who was playing some ridiculously good scum game. This of course led to Tinfoil theories on setup spec. I stand by my final days of play. I would not assume a Scum Cop at all in this setup, and I'm just gonna call this game bastard and say it was at least fun. I do love how all the town pretty much were on the ball right off the bat, and I did enjoy playing with the lot of you.

If it's any consolation F-16, we were ALL burning our town reads because of our refusal to lynch the confirmed cop.

It was difficult watching townread after townread get evicted though after we were killed off.

The game was fun though and I enjoyed playing it. I do feel bad that the first part of the first day I was pretty non-existent and was thankful that Nacho didn't give me a hard time about it.

Also, pretty happy that our reads were pretty decent regardless.

I stayed up as late as I could last night too. I had to do a lot of shopping today and had to be up early for it. There was no way I was going to be able to counter F-16's argument, and let's be honest, it really wouldn't have matter anyways. We could have just ended the day right when it started since neither of us was going to evict Minions.

Why did no pony look at balance that when lack of a third daykill happened confirmed Minions as scum? I mean, even after his claim he still was probably scum (to the point where he should have been nowhere near F3) but that should have confirmed it based off balance.

Voided, I don't think the modding was the problem, as you're still one of my favorite mods on the site. I just think that the idea behind the game, while looking good on paper, just didn't work out in practice. The inability for traditional scumhunting via vote really hurt the scum team more than town, and most of our team just wasn't able to get in the game because of it. This goes for me, Peacebringer, IceGuy, and a majority of the Minions hydra. We lost a key ingredient in being able to control the outcome of the game, and it really was not as fun as it sounded. In fact, it was kinda boring, and I really had to push myself to play like I did. The HoH mechanic was just disorienting as a whole and actually tipped the game in favor of the town.

And don't worry about the PM problem. I had a role PM snafu in my recently modded game as well, and everybody who played still stated how much they enjoyed themselves and the game as a whole.

It's balance had nothing to do with the daykill

That still was the "correct" lynch though at that stage of the game. Without a third daykill, the role couldn't (shouldn't) have been town or the game was imbalanced. Basically you have that role and assume they pull two clears and then claim - scum are already forced to take a confirmed (outside of GF fears) to the endgame with them. If they have used daykills it forces the matter even further.

Its actually why I moved Minions from reading as scum to should be lynched based on their role. The role only worked as a scum role if there were two daykills. I figured on the second to last day you were essentially in a lylo where Minions was town or in a situation where Minions was confirmed scum based off of balance.

Not sure how this quite balanced when you have a setup where a full PR swings from alignment to alignment.

Also to counter Bulb, I have seen this setup and an extremely similar setup that was multiball (that I was scum in) and this mechanic is massively scum sided. From having played it both ways I would put money on scum unless more countermeasures are taken.

Im happy I had 3/4 scum right when we got killed though (was only missing PB for Berry)

I don't think it was a total mistake. You basically told us that the scum have gifts that make them different. The implication was that the rest of us did not have gifts. I should have pushed Minions as scum based off that theory further.

Generally, I view my scum game and town game as very similar but I have a lack of mobility in one versus the other. Both, I tend to be aggressive and defensive. I generally ask for a lot of clarification as town or scum. I had something better in mind but I don't really feel my games can be cracked town versus scum so easily.

Well since everyone is dead set on moaning and negating any effort I put in to win this for the team this will be my only post of the game now.

I was abandoned around post 900 I think so have had to work completely solo without any hydra or mafia team support and still getting suspicion as I went. Even said in the OP only scum have gifts, so I had to work hard to keep focus on the wrong elements of he game.

Still 100% winrate as scum though.

Carry on with your moaning now. Thankyou voided mafia for the game, you were ever present and done well with the time constraints. Personally I would play one of your games again so I will hope you don't quit completely.

For bulbazaks indifference he still had good input in the mafia chat and clearly wanted to provide us with the best possible springboard to push on with when he ducked out.

Bulbazaks indifference wasn't helped by our hydra being so eratic with the kills. He had a good gameplan. We just went a bit mental :p
