Kanye, how do you feel about coming out with respect to our role interaction? Because I want to talk to you about it.

Cephrir - I ISO'd you - notice that you want to lynch TA (but aren't too sure about his scum flip). What do you think of Kanye? Does this role interaction help your read of him?

Well, early on his actions with respect to that interaction scored a lot of town points in my book, and he did things that had very little scum motivation it seemed, but since then things have taken a turn for the worse, and some of the town points were never redeemed. I apparently can't be less vague about that.

I also dislike that he doesn't want to talk about it, since from my perspective at least, I don't see how it would harm anything. It's not like there are super secret powers involved here that need to stay hidden.

I'm quite interested in the exact wording of the ability that allows this interaction on his side, because of reasons.

Town points are awesome but they don't automatically make you right. That said, I guess I could consider it.

One way or the other though, it's becoming increasingly clear that The Conversation needs to occur, and preferably now. I'm not lynching him until we've discussed it.

So. Kanye can send me one-way messages every night.

N1: I get a message (perfectly typed I might add, so he was deliberately disguising his identity, which I actually think is town) asking me to do something in thread so he'll be able to find out who I am. I complied.

N2: Confirmation he's identified me, reveals to me who he is. Says he is town reading me. Tells me his rolename and correctly identifies my rolename. I won't give these out at the moment since the one pretty much gives away the other. Tells me he has the ability to do something to me that presumably gives me a power. I won't give flavor for this because, again, it gives away everything. Obviously I thought his reaction this night was pretty townie and I didn't see why scum would do this. Hence post 3035. I have my suspicions about what this power might do (I am an X-Shot Something. I was hoping it'd make me a Full Something.)

N3: "We need to talk". This coincides with suspicion of me in the thread IIRC. So he totally backs off on calling me town here for pretty basically no reason, and doesn't give me the ability. Also, proceeds to not try very hard to engage me.

Every night since then I've gotten some variation of "I have nothing to say." All of them have been useless. This doesn't seem like a very protown use of the role. Even if he suspects me, he could easily use this to give someone who could be town read lists in the event he dies.

So part of the reason my read has fallen off is because I feel like backing off on townreading me could easily be an excuse to not give me the power (presumably, in this scenario, his scumbuddies told him not to give it to me). On the other hand, in this case, I feel like I should have died by now. I've breadcrumbed a desire to get whatever this power is.

Also, my desire to know the exact wording of the message-sending ability is not related to anything I just said.
