flashes of paranoia about how easily he townread me. And the flashes of paranoia feel a little off. I feel like real paranoia would look more like that at-arms-length feel I had about him in the NY 165 game. He wasn't pushing me often, but he definitely wasn't buying my early reads wholesale.
It's ok this is the quickest I've ever townread you as well

Please explain you motivation(s) for puttting a vote on Tammy. From my POv it seem like a kind of weak reason... If it is a push it kinda seemed like a pointless push. Meaning there are better reason to push a player.
It was a pointless push. I had already stated that I was going to reconsider Prohawk today. With that in mind, no vote of mine could have been considered all that serious. When Tammy said she hadn't read the thread, I couldn't help making a flippant comment and put a vote with it. I had absolutely no expectations of anything happening because of it. Tammy certainly wasn't in any danger of getting lynched, but then she blew up and took it so seriously. That is not a reaction that I see often and I don't recall ever seeing it from Tammy before.

I'm not going to read through those games - at least not on day 1. Your earlier quotes of players from other games do not illuminate me in any way. I am fairly bad at meta reading people based off of games that I've read, but not participated in. If you could just give a sentence or two about which way you are meta reading these players, that would be much appreciated. These seemingly random quotes and links tell me nothing about how you are feeling about these players.

My post was bad??? Did any of you read orcinus' post? And you don't see it? What is this a newbie game where I have to explain everything? Fine.

What was wrong with orcinus' post was a few things. Voting in spirit is egging on a wagon that one is not a part of and has not commented on -- very bad. It is vague and non-committal. Second, orcinus' vote was only on Prohawk as a pressure vote, if he thought he had ground to vote someone else there was absolutely no town reason not to do change his vote - don't tell me he simply forgot considering the words he used. Scum, however, would be more inclined to see which way the wind blows before making a stand one way or another - which is exactly the sort of behavior orcinus displayed.
Do not force me to use my hug of death

1) Voting in spirit is me commenting on how the vote on you was a good vote
2) My vote on prohawk was not just a pressure vote. I feel like Prohawk would've been more active in this game if he were town. Same goes for mara.
3) You had one vote on you. Prohawk was at L-1 a while back. "Seeing which way the wind blows" makes no sense since I switched from Prohawk TO you.
Ok, lets see.
Point 1 was already answered in what you quoted above.
Point 2 - at this point in time, Prohawk had already explained why he was not so active.
Point 3 is an obvious misunderstanding of what I posted.

Scum Kaze:

http://forum.mafiascum.net/viewtopic.ph ... er_sort=Go

He was scum with me, replaced in partway through day 1. This game was the basis for his accusation that I could be manipulating my meta results, because I handwaved the hell out of his meta to call him null-town.

His first scum game (also his first MS game)

http://forum.mafiascum.net/viewtopic.ph ... er_sort=Go

I can go through a detailed analysis if I really need to, but I think the differences are pretty obvious
so he's more serious as scum?
i really briefly skimmed that iso but that was the main thing i gathered.
More serious, softer stances, and more non-scumhunting content. Note particularly all the complaining about meta and discussion prior games in the first link.
I did a read of all his completed games for the first game I played with him because he was getting FoSed and somewhat run-up. I had a town read, but wasn't listened to as much as I liked, so I threw some meta reasons to go with the in-thread stuff I thought made him town.

Anyway, his playstyle has evolved since that first game, and it appears to be taking another turn. But, the fundamentals are still there wrt to his town game.

You said that No Hana or Tammy are scum.... Your explanation was not that great in my opinion. Could you go into more detals why you believe that one ( or possible Both) are scum
- Because Orcinus is town.

- I've pretty much explained to the best of my abilities.
In post 249, Tammy wrote:
Don't know, couldn't care less.

Wagon analysis before a flip is stupid. You're literally scumhunting on a wagon, you were on, for no reason, for someone you have no idea what their alignment is, because they joined the wagon for the same reason you did. You're not scumhunting the wagon; you're scattershot voting and making up a reason. The faster you admit that to yourself the better you'll be.

I'm voting for who I think scum is.
So am I making up reasons, or do I have no reasons? Am I scumhunting in your opinion, or aren't I? If I had no idea what your alignment is, why would I make up reasons?

This post is a clusterfuck, miss.
In post 251, Nachomamma8 wrote: It's enough for me for now. What are your reads looking like?
They're very pretty, thanks for asking.

pitoli - leaning scum
Nachomamma8 - leaning town
orcinus_theoriginal - town
Ms Marangal - idk
Tammy - recipient of my loltunnel atm
Deacon Blues - tentative town read
MafiaSSK - idk
Minami no Hana - maybe scum
The Rufflig - looks like mislynch bait
ProHawk - maybe scum
TheFuzzylogic99 - newbtown
Mac - I don't remember

Yes.

Anyway, I've gotten enough from Tammy, I think.

UNVOTE: Tammy

I was about to vote Mara but I'm pretty sure she just hasn't been on site in a while.

So, this'll work:

VOTE: pitoli
