I like SBMW out of that list, but something doesn't quite sound right with that, IMO.

Why not keep it something simple, like
Verbose
? It definitely defines mastin (and is the one user I'd think of in regards to the word) and the shortness of the title paired with the reasoning for the title is slightly amusing.

If we were willing to nominate him for a comically long title about his verboseness, why not go the other direction and keep it short?

We already tried that (well, a verbose-variant) and got rejected.

I'm pretty sure you've all gone full circle with mastin titling and he's already shared his thoughts on the titles that are being suggested.

How about something like
For a change
? In games full of one-liners and uselessness, it must be good to have some verbosity for a change. He's changed to the second account, from the original Mastin. And there are a ridiculous amount of MD threads by him - trying to change how people see or play the game.

That example specifically probably needs explanation than it's worth but mastin's done more things than make long posts, and I don't think a title that doesn't reflect that is fair or worth applying.

The way I see it, the many MD threads are just a symptom of the same drive to see himself typing. And the whole idea behind verbosity is that the things mastin produces aren't comparatively dense in content.

It looks to me like mastin is rejecting titles because they don't suit his megalomania, not because they're bad.

Teehee.

Also, Mastin's already expressed that he doesn't just want some 5-minute-joke title, but, rather, something that represents his play or approach to the game as a whole.
Yeah, Mastin writes words.
Shit, I write words.
I've written more words for this game in the last semester than I have for some of my Graduate classes. In English (Writing Fiction focus).
Writing words doesn't define Mastin. What defines Mastin is that he presents his ideas coherently, thoroughly, and is capable (and often wanting) to enter in dialogue with the game, both in play and in theory.

At least, that's how I feel 'bout that.

That's why I liked the Bruce Lee reference.
Water is formless. It takes the shape in needs to. It can be deep or shallow. It can crash upon you like the sea or it can look as harmless as a still lake.
To me, that's Mastin's approach, in a way.

Basically, I agree with Psyche.

Okay, so in the interest of posting something a bit more useful on this topic...

Notice the responses to this. Yeah, it's from 2 years ago. I just happened to remember enough of the contents of one of the responses to quickly find this thread. mastin posts ton of words --> 2/3 of people don't think it's worth reading and other 1/3 find it mostly insignificant --> mastin posts another massive wall a week later (seriously, around the time that thread was made, he was posting walls like that routinely). The fact that anyone thinks mastin is some sort of mafia theory guru is entirely a recent phenomenon fueled by players who, quite frankly, don't know any better.

Let's look at a more recent thread. Welcome to the Mastin Academy, where humble MD goers can pose questions of the mighty mastin himself! Man, what an amazing opportunity! How often does a GOD open a thread on your favorite forum where you can ask him questions?? And yet who asked him questions? No one with a join date before December 2012 asked him a serious question (I'm excluding Espeonage because Espeonage is special and when you've seen enough of him, you will 100% agree with me on that. I am completely serious.). There are a lot of players I would ask for mafia advice from if they were to open a thread like that and I can't imagine I'm the only person from pre-2013 who would. Why did none of them ask him anything serious?

tl;dr:
mastin's legacy is posting a lot of words (and, more recently, his ego).

That title is just a much inferior version of the wordiness titles. It makes it sound like mastin either likes writing in Latin or that he likes writing about philosophy and doesn't capture the verbose aspect of it, which is really the important part.

If you're going to go with Latin, given the conversation you need to put ego in there.

Scripsi means "i wrote" doesn't it?

It should be

Scribo, ego sum

but I don't like that nom.

defining

Fun fact--I've actually got a Bruce Lee poster on my wall. It contains the quote about not being tense--but ready. (Gift from my Tae Kwon Do teacher.)

Good advice for a martial artist, but now that I think about it, I've applied it to a large majority of my life, mafia included. :P

My thought on Safe Behind My Walls--I have some hesitance about it, because it can send off the wrong impression. It can imply that I weaponize walling, a tactic that I despise doing as scum (because IT WORKS! >_<) and hate having done as town. It can imply that I use them as a defense mechanism, that they're a cushion for me to hide behind. (This might be the problem InflatablePie saw in it.) However...I'm not opposed to it, and that's because of this:
In post 2644, Varsoon wrote:I do too, since it implies that Mastin has built this fortress for himself via his rhetorical approach to the game and, through it, he has assured himself a place of confidence and victory.

EDIT: I also really like that because they are -his- walls, their length may seem exceptionally high to outsiders, but they are built only as high as he deems necessary.
And the related
In post 2647, killerjester wrote:
3rd Safe Behind My Walls
because it made me smile when I thought about Mastin triumphantly standing on a wall of walltexts, Jesus-hair and all.
(I can't unsee that image, either. :P) Though the meaning behind the title might not be immediately obvious, it's there. It
does
define me a lot. It's not obvious, its first meaning can send off the wrong impression, but if you get the actual meaning...you GET it. So, probably not the best title...but one which I am quite willing to accept.

(Though I do like the Scripsi, ergo sum title as well. My legacy largely IS my writing. It's a large part of who I am. Not just writing words. But the words inside the writing.

There are others I like, but again, they don't have support and I'm only commenting on the ones which have momentum.)
