"Kuroa Ryuo Zue Toue.." Tear sang softly, maintaining the Force Field while remaining quiet enough to not wake her companions. It had been some time since Choral Castle and the grisly demise of Colonel Curtiss but Tear was hopeful their quest wouldn't end in complete disaster. They had passed through Chesedonia and were nearly at Katsbert Ferry which would bear them to Baticul, the City of Light.

As Tear ruminated about the course of her journey, she failed to notice the shadow behind her. Closer and closer to her it crept, making nary a sound. Tear, wrapped up in singing the Second Hymn and the turmoil of her own thoughts, remained blissfully ignorant of the dark presence behind her. Finally as it reached her she finally felt it. Whipping about, she drew back her weapon to strike.

"L-l-luke?" Tear checked her blow at the last moment. "What're you-"

She looked more closely at the boy. His eyes were glazed, he shambling slowly forward and a line of drool dripped perilously from the edge of his mouth. She drew back in disgust.

"He's sleepwalking? Unbelievable," she muttered to herself. Then she blinked, realizing in the few moments she was distracted that the force field had fallen. She hastily began singing again before the monsters invaded their campsite. As the Field came down, she realized Luke had continued to sleepwalk... right into the field!

"Luke!" Tear cried. "Come b-" She was cut off as a huge explosion of Seventh fonons shattered the night and shredded her Force Field. Luke was nowhere to be seen.

"Tear!" Guy yelled. "What happened?"

"It was Luke, he walked into my forcefield and there was a hyperresonance..."

Meanwhile, in Keterberg...

"Who the hell are you?" demanded Nephry Osborne, mayor of Keterberg. "How'd you get into my house?"

Luke looked up at her blearily. "How'd you get into my dream... Wait, you look a lot like Jade, except better... Why is a girl that looks like Jade in my dream?"

Nephry blinked. "You know my brother?"

"Umm, yeah. He traveled with me for a while. Then he died." Luke replied. "Where are- aaaaaaaaaagh!" Luke doubled over, clutching at his head. Nephry bent down to help him.

Luke suddenly heard a voice that sounded oddly familiar in his head: "Foolish replica Luke..."

The slumbering city was rather rudely awakened by a large explosion in the center of their town. For some time to come they would wonder what sort of monster would kill someone as beloved as Nephry Osborne.

Many miles away, in the City of Light...

A young girl screamed.

I would also like to point out that Rufflig made his claim to look like his PM but failed to put in Town-Aligned.

P-EDIT: Pitoli was off the mis-lynch D1. I think the only ones left off of SSK's wagon is me, Tammy and Pitoli. If there were scum off, its definitely Pitoli. Also liked whoever mentioned the fact about Pitoli not being limited in her hiding.
