It's difficult to argue with someone whose reads-or-fakereads suck because they refuse to read the thread. (bonus question: who has more motivation to continually insist on having baseless reads that don't line up with anything?)

@Nautilus:
Tell me which of my townreads you disagree with.

As for pushing reads, since you mentioned HunterxHunter: Show me who I pushed in HunterxHunter before Syryana on Day 5 or something (and was the only town lynch in that entire game). For Scummies Invitational, my big push the entire game was Tierce, who I never actually tried to get a wagon on.

I get it, you're annoyed I'm calling you scum. Fucking boo hoo.

@Cephrir:
I'm reading the thread just fine. Just not anything before I replaced in. Did the exact same thing in LoL Mafia, so am urgently awaiting you explaining why you're thinking this is scummy.

Magua, I don't think I ever responded to you yesterDay. I'll let you know when my mad schedule settles down a bit and we can have a chat. Most likely tomorrow.

Yes, but now you've been informed there are specific things you need to look at that would inform your reads, and you still refuse. That's the difference. To anyone who's read the thread your positions are just clearly untenable, and I am not the only one telling you this.

I am too busy being on strike and POUTING to post in this thread.
Nacho, can you verify where Alfred was last night? He implied you'd be doing something dragony and Garruk got a message about how our power was charging that night.

Also probably just gonna vote Magua for being super high school level obvscum. I will find you though Alfred. I am going to follow everywhere you could be and prove that you are scum, mark my words.

I read them the first time.

If you want to point something out specifically to me regarding Empire and you that you think would change my opinion on you, feel free.

If you're talking about Empire because of Alfred, I'll point out my previous posts where I already think Alfred is town.

If you've got some other reason, I will already admit that it's totally lost on me.

In the meantime, you could stop sadfacing to my post and actually say which of my townreads you disagree with.

Nah, see, this is my view on this:

You say: Holy shit Messiah was totally powerbussing me!
I say: He never voted for you. Once. Ever.
You say: But he said bad things about me, go read the ISO.

Now, you can say what you want about my belief that reading what's happened after replacing in is useless and doesn't help. I would think you're wrong, since, hey, it's my belief, but whatever's fair.
Thank god I replace into a bunch of games and so have a nice, solid meta for this. Hooray, meta!

But lets get to the interesting bits!

You say you're not the only one telling me this. But you seem to be the only one telling me this. More to the point, you're not saying a goddamn thing other than "You think I'm scum? You must be scum." Oh, no, you're also saying, "You do this thing I've seen you do in that other game I played where you were town, and indeed this thing you do in every game? You must be scum." But that's sort of belaboring the point.

I point out the L-1 wagon stall. You ignore. Not even a thought in response to -- you just repeat the previous two points.

So.

I want to make sure I understand your Alfred case here.

You: "Alfred is scum, he didn't neighborize me, here let me put him at L-2"
Naut: "Alfred neighborized me."
You: "Oh, my bad."

Do I have that more or less correct?

I don't think I need to point out how much of a misrep this is more explicitly than rambling about it like this

But apparently in your universe it is impossible for someone to push a lynch without voting it (oddly, you seem to be pushing me while not voting me AS WE SPEAK!!!! HOW CAN THIS BE?????)

I am not the only one telling you that your scumreads are ridiculous when the entire thread is taken into consideration. See Naut 6173. I'm sure that apparently doesn't count because you 'suspect' him for reasons he's dismantled pretty handily though. Reasonably certain Titus said something like this as well but it's not in the preview window, so perhaps not.
In post 6187, Magua wrote:More to the point, you're not saying a goddamn thing other than "You think I'm scum? You must be scum." Bull fucking shit. I think you're scum because I think a lot of other people are town, and because you are trying so hard to avoid looking at evidence that disproves your arguments rather than, you know, actually wanting to understand what is going on like a townie who wants to win a game.
In post 6187, Magua wrote:I point out the L-1 wagon stall. You ignore. Not even a thought in response to -- you just repeat the previous two points.
A) I cannot actually believe you are accusing me of not offering sufficient thought in response to something Mr. I Refuse to Complete This Really Basic Task for No Reason (Aka Because It Will Demolish My Argument)
B) Maybe it's because the whole scumteam was on the wagon? Maybe it's because a non-Alchemist scum wasn't available to throw themselves to their death for the hammer? Maybe the scumteam is just dumb? Nah, I'm sure you're right, town wagons never ever stall at L-1 in not Lylo.

Jesus there is too much shit to read through. Bonus that I don't have to respond to MC or Ooba I guess. The latter who I obviously didn't try to save last night, fyi.

Although just to put it out there, Ooba's reads and theories were crap (not to mention his fakeclaim) because he was still trying to suggest that D5 one of myself or Quadz had to die, which wasn't the case (which was pointed out) , then he later suggested that I was scum somehow bussing him, but the only scumlist he put me in was an opposite team????

Anyway glad we can put the two teams thing to the seabed now. 4.5:1 is far more plausible at this stage.

5500 posts with the town the way it is... Who said Im throwing in the towl.. Just pointing out observations of the game:

Ooba calling it 6 scum teams of 1. TET having no scum reads, just themselves as town. EVeryone else stubbornly disagreeing and not budging on reads.

Meanwhile, Magua lost and not reading... Naut Wall postsing this late into the game. (noone read).. ALCHEMIST for comic relief? Or just active when the noose slips around his neck...

So yeah.. thats the gamestate.

We should just lynch and analyze post flips.

Who still needs to question people/things?

You did. If not those exact words the same meaning from when you went on your 'Faraday pm' diatribe. You also said yesterday town can't win. So just what the fuck are you doing?

Apart from noise, noise, noise, noise, noise of course...

I mean, I've agreed with A LOT of what you've said but I still don't understand how if town you'd willingly lose one mislynch because you've given up the ghost, or why you'd then still be so vehement on playing (or lynching "right") for someone who's given up...regardless of your thoughts on the mod's balancing ability (which is funny considering you profited the most last game).

In post 6123, Magua wrote:If you look at The Wire, also by Faraday, you'll see the traitor there *also* knew the members of the scumteam.

So, I'm pretty damn sure that Messiah knew who the scum here were. They didn't know him, but him jumping onto that Alfred wagon and yelling for thunder is a pretty fair indication to me that Alfred is not, as much as I want him to be, scum.
This was what I was thinking off too, which makes looking for bussing redundant because scum wouldn't have known who the traitor was, though something Magua didn't mention was that in The Wire they KNEW there was scum. In fact most of MC's D9 plain is pretty much consigned to WIFOM. Much rather focus on Ooba.

I'm definitely going with the 4+1:1 theory, which is effectively the same as TW, expect the lyncher being a different sort of TP this game. No doubt :shenanigans: though, this is Faraday (as Ben likes to mention every now and again).

See, if Ooba died because his threat as obv-town because of MC-push outweighed his fakeclaim, then that would mean AB is basically cleared because of MC's vote on him...so why would a fakeclaimer be killed over someone who's meant to be cleared such as AB? Except to increase the wifom???

If he's town and not scum then what does that mean for Nacho? Or the tunnelling mage?

Hell there's a claimed investigative role with x-shots STILL in this game ahead of the likes of Ooba or Tammy/Tierce.

Fuck this is a headache.

I've got last 3-4 pages to respond to. 'Tomorrow/When I get on' pile.

See this Magua post is utter shit logic.

Much like I said to I think Cephrir.... With as strong as the scum team was... Having 1 guy take the dive to propell the other to quasi townconfirmdom would be the best course of action.

MC doing it... MC being the more vehement one, not Alfred in reverse... makes this scenario all the more probable.

ANd Just because I said town has 0 chance to win this game, doesn't mean I've given up. I just know the outcome.
