Forum mafia obviously can be a little unpleasant, but that’s no excuse to be disrespectful towards other players. Excessive cursing or derogatory attacks targeting another player that bear no relevance to the game are grounds for a force replacement.

Prods will be sent after 48 hours of thread inactivity. Players must respond within 24 hours of a prod before replacement. If you require three prods in a single Day Phase, I will begin searching for a replacement immediately.

standard for games, meaning it’s an original 13p closed setup. That means no cults, jesters, or lynchers! YAY! I will not deliberately lie to you about anything in game, though I cannot promise you complete information, either. The plot flavor and setup of the game may be inspired by the manga, anime adaptation, or the weird fanfic-esque things that go on in my head. Flavor knowledge is not necessary to play effectively, but may make the game more enjoyable!

Character flavor does not determine alignment, and the game is not breakable by flavor so DON'T TRY IT.

A hundred years ago, the entire human race was nearly annihilated by giant monsters.

We called them Titans.

We knew nothing about them – where they had come from, how they were born. We only knew that they resembled humans – what we ourselves would look like if we were 15 meters tall, with abnormally sized limbs and disfigured faces.

With a cannibalistic bloodlust.

The survivors of the initial attack fled to refuge behind three concentric walls, miraculously constructed with the meager technologies that we had managed to retain. And these walls – though our salvation – became our cage.

A hundred years later, and humanity has lost its outermost wall and a third of its remaining population. The military’s Scouting Legion has been sent on 57 missions into Titan-infested territory in order to solve the mysteries of this monstrosity. This year, the 104th Trainees Squad has graduated, with a record number of promising soldiers deciding to enter the Scouting Legion. They are just a few of many who will contribute their lives to the cause.

A leaked memo has been making its rounds within the Military Police.

Its exact contents are known only to the highest ranking authorities, but the rumors say it holds secrets about individuals dubbed “Titan Shifters” – humans who can turn into the creatures at will. The gathered intel on the subject is shaky at best, but the Scouting Legion is preparing once again to leave the Walls to find evidence to support the existence of these shapeshifters, and to discern whether they are friend or foe.

Today is the day that you and your comrades finally depart the safety of the walls for the Scouting Legion’s 58th Expedition.

As your horses tread through the streets of the northern Utopia District, there are crowds of civilians lining your path. But there is no fanfare, no great parade, no cheers except from the most naïve of young children. The general public has been through this exact scenario enough times to know its outcome: most of you will not be coming back.

Despite the grim send-off, you know that these people are counting on you. In order to show your resolve, you salute, pinning your right fist over your heart. You receive only blank stares in return; some actually look away when you make eye contact, as if ashamed. You ignore them and focus your gaze on the district gate as it slowly opens… revealing the great expanse of land beyond, a land you have never set eyes upon, that which was taken from you by these monsters.

You have chosen to dedicate your life to this cause. And no doubt you will find Titans on this mission. They just won’t be hiding quite where you expect…
