This game is going to kill me. I already feel it.

The hydra dissonance here is making me want to vomit. Paired with the fact that it's based in confirmation bias and petty fights that have no bearing on alignment(no matter how much you try to make it so) and I'm about ready to set sail off this fucker. In the bold, a boy (cabd) is admonishing his teammates to read stuff before posting and giving their scum selves over their own laziness. While the ones this message was to are as yet unknown, cabd slipped in a very cabd way. Ergo, cabd is scum. Ergo, morph the cat is scum. Ergo, he should be lynched. In post 470, Jaqen Hghar wrote:

When she gets like this, she's liable to vote a cop claiming an innocent on us before she'll re-evaluate her read. I'm just sitting here watching the rest of the players reactions to it, and taking notes. Well, that, and wondering when bork and jiffy are gonna come back and deal with her.In post 555, Kazekirimaru wrote:

Kazekirimaru, a lady's suspicion on the MtC slot is based on cabd's slip, not on a petty grievance with the other half. A man is pretty sure of this. cabd's deflecting and discrediting afterward instead of just being his town self pretty much wraps that up in a pretty bow. And the conf bias comes from the jiffy third on someone they've had problems reading in other games, and he sets ablaze that which he can't read. Probably because he's so good at reading.
A boy should stay, have fun, and see past the surface to the real which lies beneath.-

I like his style personally. I don't get why people are up in arms about it but then I like players who are on the "different" end of the spectrum. <---- that is kind of dangerous cos scum could have me eating out of their hands just by being interesting but jaqen is IC soIn post 551, Kise wrote:

wrt the bold: this. so much of this. like a million times over and I feel like it is poor form to reduce it to past game history regardless of their alignment. In post 557, Jaqen Hghar wrote:Kazekirimaru,a lady's suspicion on the MtC slot is based on cabd's slip, not on a petty grievance with the other half. I am not the 1 who is carrying baggage around.
it was a pretty big slip IMO and I am surprised more people did not notice it. and when it was pointed out I was met with :dinorage:
I felt like the slip was a revelation of their true motivation; it didn't feel town.
because the baggage was brought in (not by me let me point this out!) the read is a bit compromised for me. and the shitty treatment can send me in a tunnel in which there is no turning back but I am trying not to go down that route. I just want them to towntell and they aren't. they are sending out all of the wrong signals and missing all of the right beats.- Kagami

I don't understand the hate onKagami. I don't know if you guys really missed it or not, but are you okay with Rem asking numerous fluff questions, mentioning his (offsite) games with Tsu in an effort to get her to recognize he only calls himself town as town and never as scum, and thereby he's wanting someone to confirm him as town, yet he hasn't scumhunted?
I hadn't notice he replaced out until an hour after I was done catching up. I started reading & posting at 1045 this morning. The mod edited the post mentioning Rem's replacing out at 10:47. Rem no longer being here shouldn't give that slot a clean slate. He did absolutely nothing to find scum and instead made excuses about changing his playstyle, then asked more meta questions and did nothing with them after only UFO answered his first round of questions.
I'm happy Kagami is showing support. No matter how you feel about her, I don't thinkyou can honestly say she's wrong for voting Rem. Again, he tries to get Tsu to notice his town tell or whatever you wish to call it. He does this instead of looking for scum.
Next thing. I;ve been over bubba's discrediting of mollie and he has confirmed it was blatant discrediting. Majiffy votes bubba, mollie votes morph, Jaq votes morph and brings up bubba as a partner. I don't think four eyes are imagining things and there has to be something there.
@Majiffy, Bubba is far from being an obvious mcscumbutt, but IMO the connections are there with him and morph, so it earns my suspicion. If I agreed with you that bub was hot damningly scum, I'd be on it, but it's not strong enough for me to confidently want others to lynch him right now.
@mollie & jaq, I'm still unimpressed with morph's reddit style posting and can vote that. Either bubba has to fuck up or Morph has to flip scum before I even think about rallying for votes towards bubba. I'm strongest to weakest on Rem, pie & morph>bubba. They have escaped into the mansion where they thought it was safe.

I can't wait for someone like DGB to come in and have everyone singing and dancing, meanwhile killing them off and winning the game for mafia. She might even convince me the slot's town! And then everyone forgets it was Kise who almost done something good day 1.In post 562, Kagami wrote:Rem's replacement probably proves her town. They have escaped into the mansion where they thought it was safe.

A man thinks Kagami is town. But only because she doesn't seem overly concerned as to what she posts or what others think of those post. A girl could certainly put forth more, but that's enough for a maybe town, yes?

I don't like rememory's slot either. he looked really uncomfortable.
I told majiffy earlier that I thought that kagami might be bussing rem. the backpedal looks awful but it might be something where it is a YMMV (hers) so I can't tell with that.- GoodCop_BadCop

I really hate that scummy nom.
My incomplete assessment of the gamestate is that there are only a few lines of argument that make sense:
Mac on kagami: not enough content, can't deny that
Jaqen on morph: cadb slip
lush on bubba: Various minor tells, listed in 463
morph on Pie: Srs biz early posting nonsense
kise on rem: kise-tsukasa interaction
Of all these, my favorite by far is kise's point, which is both original and accurate. Now, whether or not it's indicative of rem's alignment is a different matter. Rem is either legit invoking a trust tell (and yes, this is a trust tell), or she's using a false tell to push her towniness. Hard to say which, but it makes kise very much town to me. Kise's response to my little flip-flop on rem is very nice, imo, making him a fairly strong townread to me.
The morph thing on pie is pretty weak, I admit that I sheeped it because wagons are fun and I hadn't read the thread much yet on my opening post.
Your argument on bubba is consistent and effortful. I think there's potential for a lot of confbias there, so I was hesitant to hop on. It feels like you got the scum tinglies, and then fit the evidence to that read. The gun post was absurdly inappropriate, but not alignment indicative. I think you're prob-town. Bubba leans scum for this.
I'm running through jaqen's argument now. I'm actually not sure I follow. Cadb says that he assumes town doesn't read the mod posts as carefully as scum, which seems silly but whatever, and misses that bubba was making a joke. He says "but you all missed it, so shame on you." So the argument is that Cabd is identifying that one of the people he's addressing is scum (which implies himself scum)? There's the off chance that he just thought that everyone but he himself missed it, I suppose...
That's the jist of it, no?- Kagami
