It means I was expecting better from you than "oh he replaced into a slot at L-2 and was snarky, he seems p town to me".
In post 1049, Selkies wrote:what do you think about magua
Nothing, really. He's got one post, and he's not going to put out much more in the way of content until people post enough that he reads them as he doesn't read when replacing in.

Unfortunately, I don't think we've got a whole lot in the way of time to wait for him to do that, given battery percentages and rate of decay.

Have you caught up yet?

You expect more?

Like, in the vein of you disagree with me?

I have a general gist of what happened, rereading for specifics as needed.

I dislike this battery mechanic. Encourages lurking.

I'll be more plain. Liking Magua for town because snark is complete shit, because a) Magua snarks regardless of alignment and b) what the fuck do you expect him to do, replace in and start acting scummy? Magua is neither new nor stupid. He's veteran enough to keep it together and act natural regardless of alignment, and you ought to be veteran enough to know better.

Actually, it does the opposite.

Depends on what you're into. Fantasy/mind bending/thriller? Locke Lamora series by Scott Lynch is an amazing series. Sci fi? Go for Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson. Stellar. Literally! If you want "good" fantasy over "excellent" or "stellar", I'd recommend the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. If you're into romance, God help you.

Now you're getting sloppy. Well, sloppier. I answered this quite literally five posts ago.

I doubt it, since the books aren't nearly as trashy as the movies.

So I started reading them on a high-school locker room dare. The first one was, like, bad, but almost funny in a way. The second one was, as we all know, the most awful thing I've ever read--there's better slashfics on furaffinity. The third, though, I found was like genuinely founded on a solid basis. It might help that I'm a sucker for the Masquerade-aristocratic type vampires, I guess. I had to stop reading the fourth book, though, waaay too awkward.

I never got my $20.

so I appreciate that.

On the other hand, I don't like things like "Do you have a case, or...?" in , and the post tone seems off. I'm hesitant on this as I found Nacho's tone in UPick to be offputting as well and he was town there, so. Put them at null-to-town.

He hasn't done anything to make me dislike it, so inertia, etc.

What sort of bullshit is this?

Let's start with *which you wrote*.

which quotes .

You picking at this just reeks of throwing mud and trying to see what sticks. Which brings me to...

Now, back on topic, Natirasha, if you could talk about something related to the game instead of jumping in to throw some posts about books that are not, to put too fine a point on it, related to the game at all, that'd be great.

In post 1043, Syryana wrote:He's participated more than, say, LLD thus far. At least in what I've read. Is lack of activity your only reason for DDD-scum? (I'm including the lack of sorting people under lack of activity)
Yeah, I know. I'm a little suspicious of LLD to, but Nacho trusts Kanye's read on her.

it isn't the lack of activity, it's a lack of proactivity in what he's posted thus far. In Vi's last game (godhelpme) the biggest reason we had Chosen to Neighborize DDD and Tierce/Empire was due to the fact that, we had wanted to make our one neighborizing option be as close to a masonry as possible and we had thought DDD was town as fuck from his entrance D2. I did have some reservations on Tierce, but Empire's play was more than town enough, and it was wholly possible that the reservations I had were nothing but paranoia

as for selkies, I expect Orci to be a little
less
nice and self-pitiful and be a little bit more aggressive. I am sympathetic in the lack of real time interaction because he lives in China (and it is a problem that I tend to have, sometimes) but I don't recall it stopping him from playing before.

Peng: why are we at the top of your reads list? above whatever living mason-partner you may have left?

also explain Magua and Syry

Nat, you made it through a Twilight book. That it's 'books,' plural, seals my read.

Seriously, I'll explain once orcinus has a chance to reply.
