I think Pie's comments re: Gaiden's wagon still ring true to me. A purely town scum-flash wagon doesn't make any sense

why did Varsoon tie up his wagon with Gaiden when the tie still would have resulted in a Gaiden lynch?

pretty sure varsoon didn't realise plurality lynches were a thing in this game (which matches with what he was saying at the end of yesterday about making a lynch, any lynch, happen) and he was being varsoon

muffina was barely a blip on the radar yesterday, holding back playing it safe, staying away from the major wagons only to make an offhand comment "oh I think all of the main wagons are town!" and yet do nothing to support any of the town reads. <----- scum 101 guyz for realz I promise you from the bottom of my heart muffina will flip red. its just it is such basic scumplay it seems like it is easy to overlook cos yanno it seems kind of obvious! all of his posts are "safe" when maffina is not a safe player and they are designed to promote longevity in a game (not make waves and let town eat their own) and not trying to actually figure things out. OKay let's break this down.


Step 1: "Regardless of alignment, is Kat an Oracle?"

If no, stop here, she's scum from your POV
If yes, continue.

Step 2: "Is Kat a mafia oracle?"

IMO no, and here's why. Mafia oracle certainly wouldn't have chosen THAT question over something like "Is there more than one investigative role on the town team this game" or somehting equally useful. Why would scum ask that question when team compisition pretty much tells them the setup? Furthermore, even if this was a faked quesiton, she's made a claim such that the flip of any non-mafia non-town player means she is immediately and instantly speedlynched.

It's so completely fucking stupid, I don't think he'd have been able to not claim scum if he actually was.

The crumb is fake. The question is whether he is:

A) Townie worried that his claim won't be bought, and faking a crumb to make it more believable
B) Scum worried that his claim won't be bought, and faking a crumb to make it more believable
C) Townie with a role that is not bomb, but who wants people to think he's bomb for some reason or another

The upper quote indicates that C is not the case, which was the case that I had thought to be the most likely if bubba=town.

As a mod: That question would mess me up. The key word in what Katarina said is "based on alignment". Both those questions to me are still trying to get at a players alignment.

If she could have asked it she should have. That would clear me, and would make scum want to kill me. So that would've been a good question had she been able to ask it.
