know how to use your W, you can punish all-ins really hard by timing the W on the adc when support initiates

Also be able to do hings like W on top of yourself when akali/kha jump on you nd then E out and rape them before they know what happened.

In lane try to trade auto + Q for auto and then dont trade again unless its a free auto till its up again.

It's better to Q and Ult when you're close to your opponent, so when dueling a ranged champ stay very close and just use E to dodge one skill shot.

If you W somoene theres little chance they can dodge your ult

No, Same friends..Your mmr stays the same but you get fresh placements. So instead of having to battle through the bronze shit hole, just place 5-0 more placement matchs with your fsame friends on a new team and if you finish 4-1 or 5-0, you'll place significantly higher. A bunch of people did this last season to get gold in placements. first placement would be bronze or silver, second placement would be mid-high silver, third placement would be high silver or low gold.

If that's how ranked teams works, why was the silver ranked team I was on last season constantly getting matched against teams with gold-diamond players playing their placement matches?

Team MMR and Solo Queue MMR is different.

E>Q>Auto for surprise harass when they're retreating from the minion line(if you're playing against certain supports they can punish you hard for this though so think about whether or not you can get away with it beforehand)

Ult is just as good at finishing fleeing opponents as it is for bursting the fuck out of them. In team fights use it to take out the guys who are moving to the back lines to run away; of course getting the damage in over all 5 opponents when opportune is good too. (In lane using it for burst is probably the best use).

Smokescreen lets you create false choke points (places where the enemy team doesn't want to get caught in). In wide areas you can use it to choke off escape routes, force enemies into certain areas or drop it on yourself to protect from assassins. The slow isn't terribly great on it so use it for the smoke utility instead.

Use E as a positioning tool over the attack speed buff. It's the biggest tradeoff when playing Graves and the thing that takes the most skill imo. Never E directly into enemies unless they're retreating or doing it won't isolate you from your team.

The trick to being a good laning ADC is to just be the biggest dickhead you can possibly be. Play dirty as fuck and get any free harass you can in; just be wary of where the enemy leona is.

Also, general PSA is be aware of how strong you are without mana. Sivir doesn't give a fuck about mana but Lucian and Ezreal are pretty worthless without it. Graves sits in between. He can sit in lane and last hit if he's oom but he's not going to have a great time doing it.

Your ability to trade with Sivir is directly proportional to your ability to predict and react to enemy spells with spellshield. if you cant spellshield then dont play sivir.

All i can ever seem to do as a melee character is use whatever ranged abilitys i have and throw them at the enemy.
