But I must admit...this feels off. Mastin is supposedly one of the most experienced players around. To be felled by such a thing as this? I don't know. I'd expect scum-Mastin to have more chops than that.

Not to mention one would expect scum to contrive reasoning when pressured. Mastin is literally saying "It is because it feels that way and that's all I got." Not even an ounce of fuck-giving. Would scum be so brash as to just put down reads with no reasoning and not even bother to explain? Even when pressured? It wouldn't be the first time I've seen scum just take the "I don't care" route, but I'm not sure it would come from Mastin.

it's not just the fact that his reads suck it's how he was acting all confident about them and trying to force them on everyone when he really shouldn't have been. see my case on him

Also, if you look at the nature of my wagon, of course I'd be sarcastic. It just looked like an RVS wagon. If I got lynched as a result (which I did think was a possibility, especially after my self-vote), then this game no longer becomes my problem and I can focus on my other games.

"can't fake as scum" doesn't have much to do with the way I build models. I have been able to catch players on the basis of my town-model not fitting their behaviors in a game. It's not just "does X" or "doesn't do Y".

That reminds me. I don't know if you've seen this yet, but this is my last scum game. It also got me fabulously mislynched by Mala in AG because she was being super paranoid. I got kinda lazy after my scumbuddy convinced me to NK Nacho (he was actually my fourth choice, but "Nacho is really good at reading people" is a pretty persuasive argument).

And how can you say he's not lurking at this point? The game has been up for two days and he hasn't posted for the latter one.

Okay, first of all, my lurking/inactivity isn't alignment indicative (that goes for you too, Mastin; I'd also hardly consider being gone for half a day as "lurking"). Secondly, a new semester has started for me so I'm probably going to be making most of my posting at night.

Okay, pie. I'll be blunt. Normally, when you're town, I can generally get an air for it. Maybe not an absolute air, but a general air of it. What I'm seeing here has an utter lack of it. It feels weak. Half-hearted. Fake. As if you're playing a game of manipulation rather than analysis.

i think, in the post linked, the question to AFB was what felt the most unnatural about it. like, he knows that as town he questions people about other people, but that was like.... the second page. and there was no direction to the question, it was just a random question out of nowhere. i mean, the other parts of the post are no better, but yeah. it looks like he's trying to (very poorly) imitate his town game.

40 sounds like quiiiite the stretch for scumreading Brian and I have a hard time believing that Kaze was REALLY scumreading Brian over something so oddly specific as Supersaint Hunting when its like, IDK, PAGE ONE.

Hasty reads cause Im at work and stuff (still not nearly caught up, but doing that a bit now)

Venmar - Townish. I like his paranoia on our slot and he doesn't seem to be pushing any particular agenda with pressuring us (reads genuine)
Brian - Null-leaning-townish? Brian is different than I have seen him, but he feels like he got another town-card and is just rolling with all the trolls at this point because fuck it, he ain't got nothing to hide.
Metal Sonic - Town for post 137 alone. Obvious town even. If you can't see it, then I can't help you.
Cephrir - Ummmm, Hmmmm, Durrrr, Meehhhh? You scum? Your ISO kind of looks like it, scumrir. Splash of opinions, one of them (The SkullDuggery one in post 62) reads a bit unnatural to me.
