Nami is only good if the player behind it knows how to land a bubble. Same with alistar in asia bring popular because people roam with him there

Awesomely. I did it with a group of friends way back in season 1: janna top (that one guy), soraka (me) / sona (the coolest guy in the group) bot, taric (the best player in the group) jungle, and alistar (the oldest guy in the group) mid. Easiest game of my life gggggg. (notrly but was fun)

The basic idea is "these champions aren't actually bad, they have a lot of utility and shit. Give them items and they have utility AND scale into late game." - If you think about the amount of raw cc / healing / etc that supports tend to have and then combine all of that into a single team of legendary prowess, you get werk.

It actually works better in current season than it did back then because support scaling has been improved (tho nunu-as-support got nerfed out, ali didn't really change, and kayle's not a true support, so this comment isn't as applicable to reck's team, and the one above is better applied).

Does anybody else go 0/16/14 masteries on support or is it just me?

I like the mr/armor and crit reduction mastery and 14 in utility gives you all the gold masteries that are worth taking.

Also if you're playing a utility support you should build a giants belt item. Either randuins or rylais; It's too important of a defensive stat not to.
