I think Athena's/Marangal has at least one, possibly 2 scum in it. Generic's latest posts in the thread are really tempting to read into and I want to say that Scum-mara necessarily means Scum-Athena but his post read sort of town to me anyhow. Still I think they would be my focus over SiAm (town) and RBD (pirate)

The problem is, I'm not seeing Si/Am as town. I don't see their posts as legitimate; they come across as faked. I don't see them as townposting; I see them as scumposting. They seem survivalistic and manipulative, rather than analytical and unafraid. I'm not seeing Rancid as town. ("Pirate" is an accurate description of how I feel about him. ) I'm not seeing Marangal as scum; that slot's posting has seemed really legitimate to me. It has seemed genuine. It has seemed town. And Athena's basically dead-null to me; I can see them as scum or as town equally.

Give me reasons. Why is Si/Am town? Why is Marangal scum to you? What is your take on Athena?

I can point to literally every single post of yours after my replace-in, and show you the town in them and the lack of scum in them. (Okay. So that's a slight exaggeration. 1644 was null--it's something that could easily come from either alignment. But literally every single post after that. 1660. 1661. 1669. To a very limited extent, 1670 in that while the statement is something you'd say regardless of alignment, the TONE was town. 1674. 1681. 1682. 1691. 1708. Hell, even 1715, because it wasn't scum-gloating-about-a-mislynch; it was town-thinking-they've-got-scum. 1721 had a town tone to it. I liked the analysis in 1723. 1725 feels really legitimate. Hell, even the least-town post of yours [1732] still feels town. 1734. You yourselves admitted 1735 made you obvtown, and dammit, you're right. And basically every damn post of yours in the Mhork/Mindy exchange.) I don't understand why you think that you're not that obvtown. IT'S RIGHT THERE. In everything. Your attitude. Your aura. Your reads. Your analysis. Your overall posting.

Mhork's probably going to be annoyed at that, given his reaction to my compromising on Squirrel Girl yesterday, but we're at D3 LyLo and I'd rather not compound this comedy of errors if I'm wrong about y'all. And Mhork's pretty pissed in our QT anyways, so in for a penny, in for a pound.

I'd suggest you and mastin2 unvote if you're town sooner rather than later. And yes, that's me being as calm as possible about being put at L-2 out the gate only because Mhork did fly off the handle here in voting at all.

Trying to sort out some of what's gone down. AP, there was no lying from you about your hydra's comments about the modkills. What happened was in 1626 (I'm assuming) Guyett asked what I'd been referencing in terms of throwaway comments about the modkills. I pointed them out, and in 1644 he dismissed such concerns based on Mhork having town read your hydra for other reasons after that point before he and I had convo'd. There was dismissing it as anything I had a right to be concerned about just because Mhork had town read y'all once upon a time, which I'll admit annoys me on principle.

Yes, Guyett plays loose as town and scum. Heck, I can cite X-Men where he character-claimed prematurely and outed himself as a VT super-early to no good end as him being erratic as town. However. There he wasn't doing something that screwed town out of spite. I also don't like that he didn't bring this point up himself in the ample time he had to do so yesterday.

mastin, you're eroding any non-scum cred you had quickly here. I'm well aware that scum-you considers me easy mislynch bait, to the point where you have zero problem planning to set me up at your leisure in pre-game (see: Micro 264) and I know that you like to repeat plays (also see: Micro 264 and your OTP AtE) but you're being pretty ridiculous here if you're scum. If this is coming from town-you, I'd be more upset about you scum-reading me if you'd ever actually town-read me. How much of the game have you read? Do you actually expect anyone to believe that the players in PFR are so scared of town-you that they'd NK you in lieu of an unimpeded shot at the last town PR going into LyLo?

I reread D1 overnight, and what stood out to me was our general unwillingness to even attempt to work together. Everyone knows one another and yet did very little bridge-building.

Since we actually have time here, I'd like everyone to unvote (this means you too, Athenas Fury) and list their top two town reads, not including themselves. I don't care if hydras want to list them jointly or from each head, but mine are RBD and SiAm; Mhork would probably sub in Athenas Fury for SiAm.

I was glancing at the game before work today.

There was at one point an L-1 on Mork & Mindy. The wagon went {AF, PRF, Mastin}.
I don't really think scum would bus at this point; so I'm slighty leaning town on M&M, but I still believe we have a scum Mastin. Not sure on PFR, but I want to say scum too.
