What boots do you guys build on Ez?

What do you build on Vayne after you have (IE PD BORK Berserks)?

I only ask this because I played a bot game with him and like I feel like the cleaver width reduction is actually kind of a huge buff. Much easier to thread them in for last hits/harassing through minions now.

The def masteries nerfs hurt tho

TBH, being able to size up how ahead/behind you are is one of the biggest parts of the game- so definitely.

Also having an eye for individual matchups/engages is important.

I think I mained Jungling for long enough that I got a good feel for that.

depends on game, usually you'd build something defensive now (if you stay alive everything is going to die already, so the focus goes to staying alive). QSS against
those
champions (ww, morde, malzahar, liss). Banshees if the real threat to you is big ass initiations or the likes and there's little stuff that you normally wouldn't mind getting hit by that might pop your bubble for cheap. GA in most other cases, but mostly so if your problem is that someone blows you up spending everything.

If nothing bothers you at all, you are going to win anyway, so you could go funky in your build. But that seems rare if you are a vayne, you are quite close to people when you shoot them.
Surrender, imagine and of course wear something nice.

On most ADC's I go:
1) Bloodthirster
2) Berserker Greaves
3) Phantom Dancer
4) Infinite Edge
5) Last Whisper
6) Guardian Angel

Though some ADC's will have an altered version, like Kog, Ez, and Lucian since they play differently.

If anyone sees this and is on in the next hour or so, I still need the 6 duo matchmaking attempts for the icons. I can at least get a subset of them, I guess.

BortK->LW->GA->PD/Shiv->Ie sounds more right as a build path on vayne.

ew.

Attack speed item second item 100% of the time unless you're sivir (who can go LW second item because ricochet is a broken ability),
or you're going a bulldozer build like BT > IE.
Vayne scales better with PD than shiv, regardless of shiv's bonus damage.

You can either go BT or BortK first. Doesn't matter; different playstyle.
Last whisper is 4th item always unless they have literally no armor in which case you can build an early IE or defensive item.

Also don't fall into the trap of buying a GA just because you're dying. GA helps you contribute more to a teamfight.
If you're always the last man standing then a GA isn't going to help you.

Banshees is incredibly underrated. Effective health OP.
Yeah you can only block one spell but it's HP that most ad's need and think of it this way:
If you block one 300 damage spell that's 300 effective HP you've gained from a passive that requires no skill to use.

edit:
last whisper is 4th item including boots.
So you have something like
grieves>bt>shiv>lw
or something like that....

Not always. Dueling Vayne is BotRK>PD(or Zephyr)>Kick everyone's ass if your mechanics are godlike

Vayne scales so well with attack speed, and doesn't get any special crit scaling.

BT means you're relying more on tumbe procs than just her W passive.
lategame with just an attack speed build you actually lose dps tumbling off cd.

neither one is bad it's just different playstyles.
or something like that....

I think I'll go ahead and list the Item Sets I currently have made by class for scrutiny here. It might give me an opportunity to learn about champions who deviate from each role. This is basically gleaned from reading guides and trying to stick to more up-to-date ones.

I don't know what I'm doing, but I want to see if any of it makes sense. These are in rough purchase order.

ADC

Doran's
Bloodthirster
Berserker's
Phantom Dancer
Infinity Edge
Last Whisper
Banshee's Veil/Guardian Angel

Jungle AD

Hunter's Machete -> Spirit of the Ancient Golem
Wit's End
Ninja Tabi
Spirit Visage
Iceborn Gauntlet
Zephyr

Mage

Rod of Ages
Archangel's Staff
Sorceror's Shoes
Rabadon's Deathcap
Void Staff
Zhonya's Hourglass

Support

Talisman of Ascension/Frost Queen's Claim
Mercury's Treads/Sorcerer's Shoes/Ionian (depends on above and whether you want to blow things up)
Athene's Unholy Grail
Ruby Sightstone
Rabadon's Deathcap
Lichbane/Mikael's Crucible

For ADC, try Ezreal - not only is he free this week, but his item build is pretty different.

Frost Queen's Claim really isn't worth getting 99% of the time on any support.

Sightstone should be an early buy most of the time but upgrading it to ruby is probably not worth it anymore with ward limits.

Chalice is a good early build but you don't want both Athene's & Mikael's Crucible.

Should probably put Aegis in your support category since you should probably be building it if your jungler isn't.

Looks viable as a WW build, procs the onhit effects of Wits and Iceborn. Bork>Zephyr imo but the rest looks just like a WW build

Yeah, the jungle was based on a Warwick guide. I looked at Warwick guides because he's free this week. I had planned to try jungling with Elise last week, but I didn't play much. I noticed that the Elise/Warwick guides were very different, but I assumed it was just a function of AP/AD rather than a function of Warwick being idiosyncratic.

I get Talisman support 95% of the time, but it seems like the supports I see from MS players (i.e., Dan/Maestro/AP) get Frost Queen's 110% of the time, so I added that one mainly to avoid seeming like a dummy even though I secretly preferred the Talisman. ^^

Write down the different Ezreal build plz. Though I think Varus looks more interesting.

I may not be the most conventional support player and these look like things I would buy : P

Screw frost queens claim though. Just gotta get to the one below that. Dorans shield is bought by 99% of supports now and I guess I see it. I play janna though and sit in the back and spam shields so its not needed,.

Athenes/defensive boots/sightstone -> Dcap is like my core though.

1) ya, Im sorta seeing that. Especially if you get a warding totem. Its definitely not something you need to rush anymore at least. Probably betterto Dcap before finishing the ruby stone.

2) Agree. Especially on certain supports who spam (janna, sona)

3) Meh. Depends on enemy team comp. I probably actually build BV more than aegis on support :P. For tanky supports I d say aegis is more worth it, but Iec is playing Nami/Sona.

BV is especially relevant in the league of thresh.

And Nidalee. If both of those are on the enemy team, you can bet your house I'm building BV on support.
