I really don't understand why we're discussing "leashing" the hypothetical Serial Killer at all. That should never be a thing. Players with conflicting win conditions can never successfully work together.

Depends on the specifics of the 3rd party win condition (and on the predispositions of the 3rd party) whether working together can result in a shared win, but usually cooperation is a short term thing.

I once played in a large off-site last summer as Scum. We rolecop'd and outed the Double-Voter SK around night 5 and basically told them to vote with us or die. They complied for that Day and we went into the next night with 2 scum, 1 sk, and 2 town alive with the entire Scumteam outed. We said to the SK that if he killed a townie we'd call for a stalemate. You know what happened the following night? Crosskills.(I was one of the dead Scum at that point, ftr.) Town won that game.

That taught me never to cooperate with other factions ever. I'll hold that policy until I die.

Actually, I don't feel bad about it at all. From my point of view, it's pretty obvious that either you or SSK tried to kill Sangres on Night 1, and it seems extremely unlikely that it was you. If Mastin is going to assert SSK's innocence, that means she's going to have to make a dang good argument that it was you instead.

You don't seem too willing to analyze Cabd's Night 1 actions too closely. Why is that? It's difficult to ignore something so incriminating.

Considering everything that happened on Day 1 (Pieguy's Bodyguard claim, ActionDan's attempts to find Rubedo, Sangres' overall strong play, etc.), I cannot fathom the Scum team viewing Pieguy as a bigger kill priority than Sangres. (I suppose it's possible, but just not very probable.)

Could you please explain how the hell you are getting these reads? Beyond SSK, because the justification is obvious. And yes, I have ISOd and found no concrete explanations.

Also, with 15 players alive, do you find it odd at all that three of your top five scum suspects are in your five-person neighborhood? And that you have included in your scum list every single person in your neighborhood who is neither you nor the living player closest to conftown? It seems like you have lost perspective a little bit.

That being said, we have overlap in our scum lists but I want to hear your own reasons first.

I dislike Kaze and Sonic most outside of this whole MafiaSSK debacle which I'm still trying to get my head around.

Kaze has been blending in a lot, not really doing things. Asking a lot of questions, a bit fence-sitty. Blending in in other words.

Sonic looks the scummiest of the other neighbourhood to me. He made a potential slip regarding three neighbourhoods and he hasn't done anything other than that.

2 on, 2 off seems like a solid assumption. Kaze and Sonic would be my initial thought but that means that mac and Aegor would be both be town. Not sure if I buy sangres or Skull being scum at this point. Hmm... starting to suspect that the three-player neighbourhood might be all town.

This VCA makes me feel better about Dan, he's way down the list of players I dislike on that wagon.

MafiaSSK looks like a very solid bet for scum off the wagon and the mechanics stuff adds another layer to that. Other than that we have Muffin, sangres, Skull and orcinus off the wagon. Beginning to suspect sangres/Skull is the scum in the five man neighbourhood, Muffin's always been a null read and Orcinus has moved to a null read through lack of recent content.

On the wagon I'm looking at the probable scum in my neighbourhood, I'm a bit confused in that regard. AFB and Ceph are reads who I'm pretty sure aren't scum so that leaves one probable scum in orcinus/Dan. If MafiaSSk is scum then Dan probably isn't scum so Orcinus probably is which would make me feel better about Skull and sangres again which would lead to me looking at Aegor/mac for scum in my neighbourhood which would lead me to suspect that the three-man neighbourhood is all town. Or Venmar's scum.

Off the wagon I'm going for MafiaSSK and Kaze as scum. If MafiaSSK isn't then MS probably is scum. If MafiaSSK is scum then probably either mastin or Muffin are.

Going back to Day One was actually quite enlightening.

Reading ffery is like trying to make a virus go through a firewall. It just doesn't work. Ffery will pretty much always be my night 1 action so that I at least have some clue.
