At the end of the day, I'm not overly concerned about the way you guys want to handle the VT thing. Either A) I'm not VT and it doesn't apply to me any ways and I probably don't any control over what you guys choose to do, or B) I am VT and would just use my ability the way I want anyways because screw herd mentality and giving scum info.
Like seriously. What if the Mafia have a Horde Protection ability? If we include one of their members in a list, of course they will use protection on that one player. The mechanic itself seems too random to have any abilities directly influence it, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least if there are ways to protect against it.
I played TWD if you remember, and players had a "Hide" ability that protected them from being killed by zombies. If anything made it into the game from the previous, I would say protection from Zombie kills did.- Toogeloo

We may very well both be terrible at reading you, but atm it's a fact not in evidence. For myself, I think my track record so far in our games hasn't been all that bad. We'll see how we do this time.- AngryPidgeon

Not impressed. You didn't even deny that you were scum or even bother to ask my why I had a scumread on you. And, for me, the kickers is that last time I scum read you asked me to work with you. All that aside, what "response" did I give that was townNero? In post 320, mastin2 wrote:

Not really. Like town talk about their reads all the time...we give scum info all the time. We are right now 'cause we are talking about our reads. So this whole "don't talk about your reads 'cause it gives scum info" seems overly cautious. The most pro-town way to use the mechanic is to use it as a weak vig and to coordinate it we'll have to talk about our reads. In post 323, Rubicon wrote:@ Nero:
This feels like a town response, agree/disagree?In post 244, Toogeloo wrote:And furthermore, even if you believe that scum have a way to manipulate the horde, why are you condoning actually giving them more information to work with in order to better utilize said ability?
I've played with Toog before and I think he says some blisterly anti-town shit as town so he's town via meta? IDK, I hate the idea of giving someone a townread based on derp.
I was curious. Why are you concerned about why I asked that?In post 325, Rubicon wrote:

Well...basically you seem to agree with me that scum have some sort of mechanic to affect the horde. In post 304, Nero Cain wrote:Why would that make Toog likely town?
Toog is arguing that there is no such mechanic due to mod and is *also* arguing that despite this fact we shouldn't reveal anything to scum.
What's the scum motive there? If they have an effect he's shooting them in the foot and if they don't then he's also shooting them in the foot. I just don't see scum wanting to get into that discussion in the way he did.
Aegor is probably a very slight town read for me.In post 316, AngryPidgeon wrote:@Thor: Thoughts on Aegor? I may have missed them if you did post them.
Also, thoughts on Dan?
I have no clear read on Action Dan - he feels like he's not trying to play the game right now. Let's call it a mild to medium scum lean.
Walk me through how the Chessball vote is not worth liking. In post 320, mastin2 wrote:Also, Thor's pretty likely town. His stances are reasonable and well-backed. I really like his approach to the game so far. Pretty much the only thing not to like is the DrippingChesskid vote, and even then, that's strongly Thor being Thor, not Thor being scum or Thor being town.
What had created the town vibe prior to that?In post 322, Rubicon wrote:Seeing several of my town reads in her scum pile was the wake up call I needed to realize her true nature.
Any analysis about the wagons as they stand then?In post 324, mastin2 wrote:
Seriously, Vezok's the town counter-wagon to the scum Rubicon-wagon.[4] Rubicon: Vezokpiraka, PeregrineV, Zdenek, Toogeloo

Which is probably why I'm trying to get other people to vote them or to justify not voting them.In post 346, ActionDan wrote:Ah I see your paragraph reasoning thor. But at this stage you can't possibly hope that a so called pressure wagon of one vote will get you anywhere. Or at least won't produce results simply based upon your vote.
