Townread on pie is not strong; it's more that the pie wagon happened after a relatively town post.
I don't at all understand how reading someone town could be an insult to them regardless of their alignment (that means you think they're doing well regardless of their alignment), but lynching Waffles before tomorrow at the very earliest is dumb, anyway.
Cheery I thought was actually kinda town after he started responding to mollie? Only in exactly one of the posts, though.
Eagle is someone I have no town impressions from whatsoever.- Fate

I guess I kinda just glossed over the fact that throughout this ENTIRE back and forth and shit Waffles hasn't even pretended to want to push a wagon
its almost like they are hyper self-conscious of their votesFate is absurdly beautiful. 運命に弄ばれる

I think what mina means is that if it were anyone else, she would think UT was scum because he has some really weird stances and some weird play that doesn't make a whole lot of sense for town. HOWEVER, even though he looks scummy, this doesn't look anything like how she's seen him as scum. I think that's what she means anyway. In post 2000, Iecerint wrote:

I'm not convinced that Cheery Dog is scum. I think Cheery has a tendency to just look scummy. I don't really know who I think the scum are. What I do think is that scum are hiding in/behind the back and forths that have encompassed us/fate/ythan/mollie/ut/reck. I don't even know if I think everyone in that group is town or if there's scum there. My point and suspicion about Ythan comes partly on his claim and partly on his reaction to our claim. The way he keeps responding to things with "good point" demonstrate that he didn't actually read the interactions we've had or mina's claim. So, his post of "if they didn't want to be vigged did they even think about the scum kill?" was odd and looked like him just throwing up crap to throw up crap because if he'd read the claim, which Mina laid out really really clearly, he'd know that we did add that caveat. And if he'd read Mina's post in which she said, if you vig us tonight, ignore our crumb because we don't want to frame someone post mortem. I just don't understand how he's responding to the things he's responding to and asking the questions he is if he hasn't bothered to read the claim. Mina thinks he's definitely town though, so whatever. I think the remaining people in that group that we agree on is that mollie and ut are probably town. I keep going back and forth on mollie but her most recent posts look like she's thinking about and looking at the game as a whole which was what I thought was missing before. Anyway scum are probably in the shadows but I don't even know who they are. I don't like that eaglekit has dropped off the face of the earth, but I still think desperado's early push on mollie looked like he had something and mala's trying to get mollie and I to get along looked townish too, so IDK.

I was trying to find this in your iso and didn't see it and then realised you never followed up on quoting from your hydra. it happensIn post 1874, Malakittens wrote:So ehm I managed to forget the eagle kit password and since I'm phone posting it doesn't save and I moved my email to desp somewhere with the password. When I'm home ill quote this on my hydra (sorry!). Also I'm convinced I have too many hydras because I'm forgetting passwords left and right.
@Mollie: what exactly put us back to scum read? Was it me agreeing with Desperado about his scum read on you?
Also you do have a good point about CD.Something feels off about him over the last two games I played with him.I need to pinpoint that more than gut at this point.
@Gamma: want to explain that because its like wtf. You don't like the wagons okay, but do you know your vote on us is just a singleton and you aren't really doing much to push us. It's looks like a scum placing a safe vote, tbh.
BUT
wrt the bold: can you plz link the last 2 games you played with him where he seemed odd? and what seemed odd about him? as oppsosed to before when you played with him? can you link those games too?
@ axxle
you said this to cheery. so can you plz clarify what moved you to do this, s'il vous plaît:In post 1866, Axxle wrote:Your case reads so much more like town with blinders on than scum.

@ iceyrent
is it only cheery's pushback that makes him seem town? also pie is not a strong townread so how does he compare to cheerio.
I am just trying to get a grasp of how you are working this out and ty for discussing reads it is a relief
are you still reading ut as scum?whew!- Axxle

My day 1 reads were everywhere. I believe my vote on Waffles was explained as crap back when I voted them.
Triforce thing was Nuwen.
I'm calling you scum, ergo you know Waffles is not on your team, ergo you know they're town.
Why would Gamma be a scum?In post 2001, Fate wrote: Gamma dont be a NuwenEverything happens for a reason, except maybe football.

Day 1 had multiball as more of a possibility. At that stage you'd only mentioned it because of your role pm, as far as I remember reading it, today you went and mentioned your win condition as the cause. We had also had night flips now and vig claims (also a non-entity for scumkills besides the doctor part of the claim), and I wanted to know more. I think I was also partly ignoring you yesterday. In post 1854, pirate mollie wrote: so then why didn't you bring it up on d1 when I was speculating about it instead of when it was brought up by other people? it isn't just the wc it is the general tone of the game too. and it isn't like you are questioning me about it it just seems like you tried to unobtrusively park a vote in there hoping to blend in in all of the cacophony.
would you like links to where I brought up multi-ball speculation on d1 and wow omg there was multi-ball? this feels a bit different and I was trying to work it out that mebbe it was indie heavy or something.
anyways in those games do you wanna know who went all "omg she said multi-ball!" they were scum cos scum focus on minor things like that instead of having to do the legwork in order to determine some1's alignment.
Also I haven't read any of those games I linked besides checking you were in there somewhere and the town's win conditions. (I was going to have a look at your posts, but considering most of them were micros, a category which has had a total of 4 multiball games run in it, (unless there have been some I'm unaware of), only one of these wasn't publicly multiball (also not run by me), I decided it was pointless searching when it's clearly that obvious)
I don't know why your scumteam operates in the way you're operating, it may not even be how you want to do it, but it's what is happening. In my opinion the optimal strategy for scum should be to just claim so they don't have to stress themselves out about trying to avoid the lynch. (see Triforce's claim, even though a survivor isn't scum, but can win with them). In post 1855, pirate mollie wrote:I also would like to clarify something, so you think that nuwen and I are in lockstep as a scumteam and that somehow no1 would notice cos this would be optimal play as scum cos of...how?
I think these were the CD posts that made me think he was town maybe. In post 1859, Cheery Dog wrote:Here I'll quote where my scumread of mollie started today. Happy? (so much effort to go through the iso of someone that's posting under the radar or whatever people are calling it with me having less posts than other people)
In post 1269, Cheery Dog wrote:Having someone as town doesn't mean that they should just be ignored when scumming up the place.
I'm trying to figure out how I'm meant to be reading you, sudden changes in reads doesn't help you get a good read.In post 1267, pirate mollie wrote:why are you asking me this
So it's that you're still trying to find a buddy for waffles, which points back to why I read you as scum yesterday.
So I'm now fine with a mollie lynch again.
It's not a townread really; just that these made me want to lynch him less than UT.
I have no reason to think that UT is town, so I still think he is scum.- Nuwen
