I've had the gays as town for the past couple days but mina is more suspicious than I was last i checked. I need to do some rereading/reassessing though. I still want them to be town as he really does feel different than when we were scum together BUT he's also not obvtown as I've seen him before.

For Pie, I think he's fine. Mina's worried that all I think about him is he's fine.

Mina-head thinks Pie is playing in a way competent scum could easily fake, the lamentation over Eleven was forced and jeep-tell-esque, and the Antihero vote was lazy. YNGO had some tonally town posts early D1 and late D2 that made me want to target him last night--see below--but I hate that his reads have been lazy, his stance on ActionDan was awful for the reasons Eleven pointed out (almost too awful to be scum, TBH), he ignored Eaglekit, and his focus this game is 100% centered on anyone who suspects him being scum or dumb.

Also, to add a couple of things to Tammy's claim:

1) The idea was also to avoid NKs, since claiming and then being killed that night makes our role useless. I thought it was funny that everyone cleared us for the code, though, because that was me

being a geek for its own sake

thinking from the PoV of an actual hider and trying to look more concerned than I actually was about our target dying. It keeping our investigation alive for another night was a bonus, though. (Ideally, I'd have liked not to reveal UT at all until after our death, but too late.)

2) Although the _oAT was kept hidden to make the code work, I was deliberately trying to create the impression that the "modified" part of hider was something like "our role only works on certain people because of flavour," because otherwise, "Uh, if by any chance there's only one death tonight, just saying, you should REALLY not trust our result" was a dead giveaway. Technically, we didn't ACTUALLY lie! We just, uh, talk to the person instead of hiding behind him! That's a modified hide!

3) We went for UT mostly because (although we weren't convinced he was town by any means) we thought he was townier than most other people did, he was competent enough for us to work with him in a QT, and he was getting lots of votes. YNGO was actually my second choice (Tammy didn't mention him on the list.) I veto'd mollie because I had nightmares of Tammy and her in the same topic (oddly, this didn't occur to Tammy--I think we kept forgetting we weren't actually a hider ). I veto'd Fate because of memories of Goofbash Invitational--I could see him lying about being neighbourized as town just to get us lynched. Nuwen was too likely to actually be scum. That's what I meant about "not trying to suicide"--we figured that given we're not NK immune and a kill could be blocked (but our survival + new QT was 100% unambiguous), and given mystery third ability, it was better to go for the most useful

(which is a shot in the dark).
