i think you're town, but it's not a read i've put a lot of thought or time into (tbh none of my reads really are). i didn't follow up my early votes at all cos my attention wasn't on this game, sorry! In post 892, Kagura wrote:
What is your read on our slot exactly, orc? Because I assumed your #511 served a similar purpose as your #311, but you just instead dropped it a few posts later and I don't see a conclusion there. In post 715, orcinus_theoriginal wrote:

I like to think we were really, really approachable in Vesperia. Like I know you were scum there but a big big part of your success there was getting past ffery and you used reachouts to her (and deliberately past me) to do this. Either way: is this alignment indicative?orcinus wrote:you're talking to me like you think i'm town
i recall you being less approachable in some other games, though i'd be lying if i said it were a very accurate recall

i realized in vesperia that really the only person i needed to fool was fery, so i tailored my meta to do that. one of my major goals was to get her to townread me as fast as i could. i haven't done that this game, so considering she said that she'll be a bit more weary of me at the end of last game, I was slightly taken aback by the quick town. That being said, she has page 1 towned me before so i'm not allllll that worried? We are lazy people on an adventure, flirting with life but too shy to go all the way.- Titan

Okay so, I'm going to ramble a bit. If I don't make sense, don't mind me, I've been swamped under a pile of grading and my brain is fried. I'm leaning town, I want to even say they're a strong town read but I'm slightly held back there. I'm not even sure why really. Arthur has them as a scum read, but he didn't respond to my questions about his reads this weekend. Basically bork looks town, and I'm somewhat dependent on others for reaffirming that read. So far ferry and Orc seem to have him as strong town so I'm somewhat comforted there. I suppose they could all be scum doing the kumbaya were not distancing dance but it doesn't feel that way. Nachos a little different for me. His tone has occasionally been stilted but he also feels more free and lighthearted. I recently misread nacho for awhile in vesperia, and in not being able to see where he was town in that game I think I've added more markers to read him with. Anyway, I liked his comments to orci, and I can see his comments to you. One of the things he told me in vesperia was that after ice and fire he was rethinking some of his biases in an effort to not get so blindsided again, so in that regard I could see him being a little more cautious.Half troll/Half wall.
I'm (Arthur) the wall. Don't let Tammy fool you. She trolls you w/o you even knowing! It's like you're in a constant state on mindfuck. RUN WHILE YOU CAN.- orcinus_theoriginal

clyton: i'm scared of dismissing him as incapable of this play as scum because i get a feeling that he's quite competent. will have to meta, which is ew
i'm not on this list

I have bork as strong town.
In theory, I could maybe see Nacho coaching bork through a scum role and helping him hit all the right notes, but I know from recent hydraing with nacho that even if he wanted to/could coach a partner that way, he doesn't have the huge swaths of time it would take.Hydra of fferylt and Belisarius; clever signature line to be decided laterUser formerly known as Sc*mf*ck.- Breakfast With Sandy

cephrir I want to figure out his angle on our slot and find out from Nacho what he thinks based on previous experience of them getting weird on each other like this. We briefly synced up yesterday but not before I read any of that.orc wrote:where are you putting cephrir?
I'm not sure where to put you yet because I don't really get your trajectories on any of your voting targets. I don't really have an early ping on you like I did last game (that I got paranoid on because people were jumping to sheep me on it)
I'm not thrilled by the sentiment that you think I need this (even it's irrelevant to the game at hand.)In post 958, Breakfast With Sandy wrote:In theory, I could maybe see Nacho coaching bork through a scum role and helping him hit all the right notes

I would need it with this player list. :/In post 965, Kagura wrote:I'm not thrilled by the sentiment that you think I need this (even it's irrelevant to the game at hand.)
And, yeah, I don't think you can hit some of your particular town notes as scum.
I don't think that's a controversial statement.

Close scrutiny is out the window atm. I've barely skimmed things enough to stay current on game events during the last couple of days. I'll be doing serious catch-up Wednesday sometime. In post 967, CarbonFiber wrote:Ffery, for someone who is closely scrutinizing my interactions with other players, I am curious why you haven't commented on me ignoring all of Nacho's posts?

But, I'm kinda mulling over nacho's posts and the kagura/fox and hound stuff myself and haven't had much to say about them, so other players taking their time to size that up doesn't surprise me.Hydra of fferylt and Belisarius; clever signature line to be decided laterUser formerly known as Sc*mf*ck.- Kagura

Orc, what is the problem with pointing it out? I wanted to see if I could solidify my read for good.
ffery, that's fine. I'll wait to hear your thoughts after you finish catching up with the game. Also, another thing I wondered when re-reading our earlier back-and-forth, why did you choose to ask me to elaborate on my Mac read in particular as opposed to reads that you are less certain about? For one, I already explained my read on Mac before you asked, and for another, your usual strategy seems to be to discuss more contentious reads as opposed to agreed upon ones, correct me if I am wrong here. I was going off of your 626 as an example.

i noticed that as well and was waiting to see what she did since i've seen enough fery/nacho interactions to be able to read both of them very well through thatIn post 971, CarbonFiber wrote:Orc, what is the problem with pointing it out? I wanted to see if I could solidify my read for good.

Actually what happened there was I got an unexpected reply and chased a shiny thing. Right after that I said something about the chronology being off.
I expected your heavy-duty reread to have surfaced new stuff. And I thought your earlier Mac read was written prior to your reread. When you said your Mac read had firmed up based on the reread, I thought you had new thoughts about him. When you basically restated your earlier read I realized something was off, possibly on my side regarding the timing of the reread.Hydra of fferylt and Belisarius; clever signature line to be decided laterUser formerly known as Sc*mf*ck. - Breakfast With Sandy
