You guys should be bowing down, kissing my feet my feet in thanks for coming in as a replacement so this game could get underway.

And, at the risk of sounding vain, it just occurred to me that the time between my confirmation and dawn breaking
could
have been due to mafia/doc/cop/whathaveyou switching to me as their target.

Good reply I like it. And gosh, you are right. I am so uncouth. MeMe, I sincerely thank you coming into this game.

Hey here’s another one for you. Perhaps the scum saw you come in as replacement and said to themselves, I know lets withdraw our vote, and cause a deliberate delay so that we can frame MeMe for a lynch on Day 1 !

Wait a minute . . . errr . . . that would make me the scum. :?

No I don't think so. My vote stays.

A little early in the game (only four contributing members so far) to declare that your "vote stays," Rick. Looking a little rabid, to me.

There was not a deadline for night posted, so I think its unlikely that the mafia did not get their choice in on time. However, Rick seems to be arguing too aggressively on such as weak case. Furthermore, he's trying to get one of the more experienced players lynched, one who, if on the town's side, could probably be very helpful in finding mafia.

So,
vote: Rick, FOS: Caveman

There's always the possibility that the mafia recruited last night. In a game on a cellular level is it possible that the mafia is some sort of cancerous evil that kills by taking over other cells? Just a thought. Oh and welcome Meme, we really appreciate you coming and allowing us to start our game. I've always admired the way you... seem... to...
did you random vote me?!?!?!

I wouldn't jump to any assumptions about Meme and waiting for night choices. (Of course having said that, Meme is clearly scum....)

:D

I've known mafia groups to hold off untill the very last minute to submit their choice, to give themselves time to debate and make a 'good' choice...

I'm still suspicious of everyone of course...

I'm kinda surprised nobody's mentioned the possibillity that MeMe is cop/doc/etc. and had a pro-town night choice that held things up. Mostly I wonder why MeMe didn't mention that in her post on the possibility of someone switching targets to her. On that topic, though -- how could that have held up the game? If they had someone else targeteted, I don't see why the mod didn't get the day started then. So, yeah, I'm fairly sure MeMe has a night choice but don't know yet which side she's on.

I always wonder more about people who haven't yet posted in the game, and that's currently:

We're not cells, we're the organelles (the parts) of a cell. I'm always terribly suspicious of people who get the setup wrong, hrm.

People who throw suspicion around like that are usually scum...

vIQleS already addressed what Malaprop said about people who hadn't posted yet. Malaprop himself has since said he wasn't serious, so I'll ignore that. Rick's accusation of Meme having a night choice cannot be overlooked. Maybe she did and maybe she didn't. Either way, both good and bad people have night choices, so there's no way to know anyway.

vote: Rick
for using crap logic right out of the box. And
FOS: Caveman
, who is likely in cahoots with Rick.

Hi Yggdrasil,

A very interesting statement you made here:
Yggdrasil wrote:There was not a deadline for night posted, so I think its unlikely that the mafia did not get their choice in on time. However, Rick seems to be arguing too aggressively on such as weak case.
Where did I ever say such a thing?

If you check you will find that Rick said:
Rick wrote:Well done to the doc cell.
At no point, did I ever say that the mafia did not get their choice on time. Which means that
you have voted without reading the thread
or
you are trying to divert attention to what I really said and have made a false accusation
. Which is it Yggdrasil?

As for me, I am positive that the Mafia got their vote in. The reason there was not a kill was that the Doc saved one of the organelles, or possibly one of the organelles was able to fight off the bacteria in some way.

If you want to make false accusations you will have to come up with something better than that, however I am willing to believe that you misread the thread.

Hi Quailman,
Quailman wrote:Rick's accusation of Meme having a night choice cannot be overlooked. Maybe she did and maybe she didn't. Either way, both good and bad people have night choices, so there's no way to know anyway.

vote: Rick
for using
crap logic
right out of the box.
"Crap logic" you say. Perhaps I had better explain in a little more detail for you:

On
Wednesday March 17th
. DB stated:
Dementia Blader wrote:Blue Sin has confirmed by pm, that gives us 11/12, with Stimpy still needing to confirm. Also,
if you wish to get a nightchoice in early, feel free
.
Now I would bet very heavily that most nightchoices came in early
. Can I be 100% sure, of course not. But it is a very very good hunch.

MeMe then confirmed on
Sunday March 21st
and night one started on the 21st as well.

Then day did not break until
Tuesday March 23rd
. Two days later and six days after DB requested for nightchoices to come in early.

So what does that mean? MeMe probably had a night choice. Does that allow mean she is scum, of course not.

That is why (and please check) Rick said:
Rick wrote:So MeMe must have had a night choice to make. And it took a long time,
perhaps
she had to confer with her fellow scum.
The 'perhaps' part of the statement means that it is a possible option. Not 100% guaranteed, but an option nevertheless.

Now I also know that MeMe checks this site a lot, and if she had a Doc or a cop choice to make in my opinion I am sure she could have made it very quickly. Which leads me to believe that she had to make a scum choice which involved conferring with her fellow scum which caused the delay.

So tell me, Quailman, do you still think the logic is 'crap' or not?

Because I'm betting at least one other person needs it, here's a page about cells. http://www.cellsalive.com/cells/animcell.htm The opening post says we're in a human cell, so that's an eukaryotic animal cell. This webpage lists 14 organelles (hm, more than I remember from biology classes) so there's certainly some unclaimed ones that mafia could take, which doesn't help us at all.
