rereading the toog-slot ISO, I don't think toog's early post to mastin looked like scumbud posting. His later gut-read-town of mastin pings a little in retrospect. He voted rubicon when there were plenty of other reasonable options in the way of bandwagons, and posted a pretty long back and forth with zdenek, where he was very much a minority in scumreading zde at that point.

It doesn't feel like scum blending in. It feels like town not caring whether he blended in.

The RVS stuff would be pretty cheeky if he's scum. Never played with scum-him, will check some scum games to see if he tends to be as cheeky or more as scum than as town.

977 is really the only one that gives me a bad feel and that is also retrospective. lemidget was all but a nonentity. I didn't entirely like desp's 3178 reads list (and still don't)

- mastin had them as null until they told someone to "bite me" at which time they became full 100% never lynching town. seriously. in his big reads list he made up some boilerplate "they look like they are town figuring the game out, not scum manipulating" BS
- mastin also spent an inordinate amount of time analyzing wagons on Alp and basing his understanding of the gamestate on them. The Mist.

215 - defends both mastin and rubicon in this post. I'm projecting a little, but this is something I'd be really unlikely to do as scum (discuss two teammates in the same post, unless it's a comprehensive post)

377 - reads list. has both mastin and rubicon as scum, voting vezok. On the one hand, the ol' fos a buddy vote town thing is a thing, but once again, calling two teammates scum here would be a little ott?

1264 - another reads list. 10 scum. mastin's moved from slightly scum to town.

1852, 1859 - mastin read changed to scum, but no indication why in the iso. something later about sheeping AP. but he doesn't actually vote mastin?

1884 - "I'd move to mastin, but there are better options"?

1985 - interaction with Thor about horde-kill. suggests taking off rubicon for mastin or svenskt. save the rolecop in favor of goon? I dunno.

from there day 1 is just chaotic. He doesn't seem to have any real conviction that mastin is scum but keeps him in the lynch horde-pile. And is townreading rubicon pretty hard.

Though iirc rubicon did a decent job of rehabilitating himself as day 1 went on.

I actually found the rubicon stuff more worrying than the mastin stuff, especially where you suggested removing him and adding mastin or svenskt for hordekill. despite apparently not having a mastin scumread at that point.

because he's claimed cop and alive. otherwise he'd be in the top group. iirc by mid day 1 I was townreading him purely on his play. :/

However, after his day 2, like I said, I'd be willing to bet cash money that if he's town he was rolecopped by rubicon on night 2. He says he was blocked on night 3. Which makes sense, though raises the question of why not roleblock or kill him night 2?
