Every time I play Ori, my team fucks up

at lvl3, my jungler gives my enemy syndra double buff

Second buff, nocturne takes it because he was low and didnt want to tank it for me

Third buff, Braum plays vs Yasuo top (go figure) and gets crushed obviously, so third buff Yasuo steals.

Still managed to get even in lane but oh my god that is so annoying when facing a Syndra that can spellspam the entire laning phase.

Bot en Top fed so hard though that despite going 2/1/4 we still lose.

Somehow this always happens when I play Ori

Like, the game was still a stomp. It just happened to be you stomping instead being stomped. A lot weirder is having a 22/3 ff20 stomp coming before/after a game where fb came after 20 minutes.

A surprising amount of 5s play is team play over individual skill.

I feel like it's super-important. Playing a coordinated team game with people you know, against other people who play together with some degree of regularity... A lot of people create a throwaway team of 5s, play a bit to get used to each other, then make their "real" team and try to match higher. Because learning how to play the Ranked 5s game is like learning a completely different game mode compared to solo queue.

I personally think that I perform better in matchmade games with friends, because I don't feel a need to try to carry every game. Sometimes I can just play a role and trust/accept that the people I'm playing/communicating with will do their jobs.

1. Some people autopilot themselves into a match
2. They just switched up where everything is because of teambuilder so they accidentally end u in norms.
3. sometimes you just forget what you click. You click the queue, go get some juice, come back click accept, then you're third pick and you aren't sure whether you're in ranked or norms.

Best thing to do is say "yeah this is ____, what role you looking for"

Edit: I hardly ever know what queue I'm in, and i win a shitload of games.

went cloth5 and played mega passive

didn't die and outscaled him. worth.

i wouldn't recommend doing that, Janna/Draven is just a really awful matchup for Twitch/Thresh and an early death would have made the lane impossible.
Alternatively I could have started longsword 3pot but I had zero intention of trading at all. Twitch generally has no lane presence vs draven until 6, so I was just itemizing to reduce incoming damage so I could walk up for farm safely.

Also, in matchups where neither botlane is able to kill each other, the carry who can control the wave better generally wins.
I was able to freeze right outside of turret my and keep the wave small enough where I could respond if the jungler needed me, and push the wave to hold mid for extra farm when I needed to.
I played super mega passive but I didn't have to give up map presence to do it because my control of the wave was better than my opponents.

Moral of the story:
Being able to control minion waves is just as important as having mechanical skill.

At that point, I'm just glad my Graves isn't a retard and got only grabbed once, and cs'd even with cait, who harassed him all the time.
