To revisit this, it actually does (in my case) turn people into their pick. I said that it doesn't seem that way due to the wording in the Role PM. After the fact, though, it clearly does.In post 422, Nobody Special wrote:

And to reiterate, I haven't used it yet. At all.
If the gun and the transformer were the same, why would I not have thought to mention the gun?In post 450, Nobody Special wrote:It didn't occur to me until now, but: I have a gun, but I don't have the laser battery that powers it. It's non-functional, but it's a gun. Thus, I believe there's a gunsmith.

Now, if it's a Culting mechanism, why can I use it on myself?clearly statethat the transformer and the gun were completely discrete objects. Apparently, I failed.
The bolded is indicative that the gun and the transformer are separate. Really, this is getting old.In post 594, Nobody Special wrote:Oh, ffs.
I didn't include a wincon because IthoughtI'd already said I was town. I win if all mafia players are dead and at least one town player is alive (paraphrased to avoid modkill).
Also, the gun is missing the battery. Apparently, the missing battery is due to some glitch in the transformer doohickey.
The gun (and missing battery) are completely separate from the transformer doohickey.
Also, I am from the future. And my job (as it were) is to fix faults in the interdimensional continuum (again, paraphrased).- Nobody Special

I don't pass my role. I pass the transformer, and the ability that it has.In post 696, Lowercase wrote:He doesn't pass the gun, he passes his role.- MTD

First, let me start with this:
Vote: Cho
That vote switch post hammer was the scummiest thing I have seen in a LONG time. 10 minutes after I hammered....10 frigging minutes. I even gave an intent post plus a 5 minute warning an hour before deadline. Then she switches? I have wanted to place this vote for over a week. How is it that Cho, the biggest lurker in the game, pops in 10 minutes after the hammer and casts a vote on the opposing wagon?
Second, I will rage about this more after the game but a moderator's actions and/or inactions should never affect the course of the game. In this case, Empking's failure to actively pursue a replacement changed the course of the game. I have never seen a mod NOT extend deadline when a replacement is needed. To act like it's the town's fault that a replacement isn't found is ridiculous.
Now, on to today....
@LoudMouthLee - I am of the philosophy that early in the game a lynch is more useful than a no lynch. I didn't want to lynch Zephryus without hearing from the slot but I did find him scummy early on and I did find his disappearance scummy since he continued to play on the site and didn't appear to replace out anywhere else. I would have much preferred a NS lynch but with an hour to deadline that wasn't happening.
@Lowercase - Why in the world would you target LML? I wouldn't have necessarily targeted NS or Fish but I would have definitely targeted someone like Cho instead! LML is one of the towniest players here, I didn't need a track to confirm that.
I canconfirmthat I received the transformer. I also don't know if this confirms NS's alignment but it does confirm he had a transformer.
Also @LoudMouthLee, do you doubt Fish's claim? I don't because it was confirmed by Lowercase. I don't know if it is a good idea for Fish to reveal who he targets for the duration of the game. It will likely give scum information that they don't necessarily need to have.-------------------------------------

I disagree that LML was the towniest player until I got the track result. Feel free to disagree I guess. My thoughts were that Cho/LML were the most likely scum with Cho my top scum read and LML my second. I wanted to track someone with about 50% chance of being scum (my exact thoughts were that I wanted to reduce the Shannon entropy of the game state as much as possible). In retrospect, I was probably being arrogant about the 50% and Cho would have been a better target. If it makes you feel any better, I certainly feel much better about my grasp of the game now.
Additionally, I didn't want to track a claimed PR because if I tracked a scum PR, they would likely act even if they didn't carry out the NK which would confirm scum except in the case of NS or Fish. (Also what I already said about difficult to fake actions. I'm pretty confident in NS-town at this point.)- Cho

It is a device that I can pass and/or use on any player (including myself) living or dead. If I use it I must pass it. It does not indicate what using it does to the target. I did confirm with the mod that you can use it on one person and pass it to another.-------------------------------------

I'm calling bullshit on this. You became Mr. Darcy? Like the main guy from Pride & Prejudice? The same guy I had sent in as my choice? You need to die and I am going to help you get there. In post 694, Nobody Special wrote:

I have a gun. It requires a battery, whichI do not have.
Also (differently, separately, not the fucking gun),I have a Transformer that makes people into a thing from another dimension.
Last night, I used it on myself, and became Mr.Darcy (one of my picks). I am still Town. Also, apparently, I have a sort-of almost-but-slightly-different PGO ability.
I passed it to Juls.
