the reason this is so soul-suckingly infuriating is the nature of the jabs. i feel like the majority of the thrust is "OMG mastin has reads on people who didn't post or unexplained reads. burn the witch!" (not a scumtell) and "policy lynch because i don't like antihero or mastin or both" (which is thinly veiled behind "no good reads" or some arguments that's just transparently crap).

yes, there are scum on this wagon, but knowing there are town that are on this wagon for all the wrong reasons (wanting to "clean up" the thread) is taxing and it actually kind of hurts.

This part depends. When you do this, do you catch a lot of town players? If so, don't do it.

So here I am reading along, quietly minding my own business slowly growing my scumread on Fear as he joins in with beautiful quotes such as "I don't make cases, I fuck scum." And on sharpest as he continues to justify every post and remain relatively impervious to logic.

I was almost for a second going to drop off on Xayzeck. I was gonna drop right off. 453 was a hell of a townie post. Not so much a good player post, rather the opposite in fact, but i am not in the habit of lynching people because they irritate me.

And along comes post number 456 doing the following.
A) Letting us all know he still likes the wagon he's on.
B) Proclaiming Fear to be town.
C) Proclaiming everyone on the necro wagon to be town.

Lets look at that list of names for a moment shall we?
"Jordan_Downey, Talah, Xayzeck, Natirasha, Sharpest-knife-on-tree, Aegor, Doublade, Fear"

Now I'm not going to claim I have scum reads on all of these players. Jordan-Talah-Nati-Aegor are all rather null to me.

Hell, dou seems a little derpy just now, but he comes off pretty town.

But Xayzeck-Fear-SKOT, I'd bet there are at least two scum in those three, and one of them is almost definitely Xayzeck. Leaning more in favor of Fear as his partner right now, SKOT might just be as he claims not really running on the same wavelength as the rest of us.

But my reads aren't the point, really my point is this. In what world does an even semi-competent player look at the one big wagon for the day and think there isn't a single scum on it? Honestly, If I for some miraculous reason had 7 townreads and one neutral read on the 8 players on the necro wagon, even if I thought necro was scum I would go over that eighth players iso with a fine toothed comb looking for the bussing scum I probably missed.

So please, Xayzeck, explain to me your eight townreads and your justification for them.

And everyone else, please vote Xayzeck while he flails his way through that.

Yeah I ended up on you there for completely different reasons than I am on you this game. That was me overreacting to perceived scumslips, kind of a classic TD thing, I gotta work on that :/.

Don't worry though, you're like third on my list, plenty of time for your theoretical towniness to shine through even if i was getting my way. Which given that the average scumhunting ability of people in this game appears to be unfavorably comparable to the scooby do squad is unlikely.

Not a big fan of attempts of meta being thrown about. It's especially not useful when it's the person themselves throwing around the meta. Such as xay, but honestly don't think it's an alignment indicator either way.

Not a fan of fear's activity. Accusing people of having no content when also not including content.

Spring Starflowers voting is horrible even if I can agree with the fear vote. Still not introducing anything.

Letting the other head catch up before we decide if we'll change a vote, as including the above I still agree with the Necro wagon at this time.

Mastin's thought process is readily followable, he seems perfectly willing to engage, and has been giving reads I understand and often agree with. He hasn't yet done anything that particularly pinged my scumdar.

Antihero has been generaly antagonistic, frustrated and ragey, but still coherent. Reads very town to me.

But more than that their wagon is for total shit. You don't generally get shit wagons that do well on scum. But a shit wagon can do fine on town if it has scum backing it.
