Small hint of buddying Rubi, complimenting a plan that doesn't really deserve to be complimented, rather it begs the question:

And fishy L-2 vote, which defers greatly from ZZZX's, where he kinda announces it and says he wants me to STAY at L-2. The difference between this and ZZZX's is that I can see motivation in ZZZX's vote. Keeping pressure on me, keeping me on my toes, getting reactions and opening up possible interactions with me to sort me out. This is taking advantage of RVS and using it to kick start the game.

ActionDan's vote does not give me that kind of impression, it makes me think he's taking advantage of RVS just to get ANY wagon rolling. Of course, the easy way out would be for him to defend himself saying "I put someone at L-2 so someone can call me out on it so we can start scumhunting". Does that sound familiar Shinobi? Indeed it does, because I said the same thing in a recent game I had with Shinobi.

I was scum too.

I'm not trying to put my meta on to ActionDan's and say "he's doing what I would do as scum, so he is scum", but rather, since I have done this with a scum mindset more than I have with a town mindset(I don't think I've sneakingly put someone at L-2 as town, I've always announced it and what not), I'd say it's more of a scum move.

I'm a chronic lurker so when I'm having a-bit-o'-fun with that.

There is no difference in the motivations you assign to ZZZX than the possible motivations I could have based upon our posts. 'don't lower / heighten Xay's L-2 status' is simply an indication he doesn't want you to self-hammer if you are the jester. The difference of announcing / not announcing L-2 status is indeed a difference, but not one that's very important or particularly meaningful. If you think about it, who would you place more scrutiny on, the person who voted you to L-2 (which includes a self-vote, which obviously somewhat dilutes the wagon) or two other people who vote and hammer you in quick succession? I'd have my doubts that in twilight you'd look at my vote and say "That's the one, that's the one that did it! GET EM BOYS!"

Anyway, I think you post in general is a little town just because of your first sentence. I also do not think you are the jester. So much so I'd ask someone to put you at L-1 immediately to test and treat a hammerer as confirmed scum (though not to be lynched until D4 obviously). So if anyone has the balls to do so, I encourage you to vote Xay.

Doctor Pepper has a distinct possibility of being the jester, and if he's not, scum. "I am the jester" after Xay self-voted earlier seems like he'd lose value in whatever he's trying to do if he were town.

yes, well. for example, if you lynch both scums D1 and D2. or if you lynch just one, then for example, you do not want to lynch the scummiest because he may be faking it to get lynched, so I'd pick someone in the middle. etc etc

but generally we just want to hit scum once we get to L-2 we need to start thinking if target is jest.

I have a huge problem with this.

Sure, I'd get lynched if it helps, I'm down for L-1 until deadline if that's what the town needs

But treating the hammer as confscum? Wouldn't that be EXACTLY what the jester wants?
