I'm really interested in seeing how the jester behaves in the situation he'll be stuck in on D2, so I'll give on the DrP affair.
There is zero chance that we are lynching shos before D4. None at all. Period. I take back my confident not-jester read.
I can come up with loads of reasons to read Xayzeck as not-jester, and only a few less to read him as town. He's a good lynch for D2 or even today if we don't get better ones.
zzzx is pretty scummy.
Rubicon and AD are the sorts who play apparently protown but are always pretty hard to read. AD's first extended post reads as pretty mechanical in its reasoning, but that might be his deal. I hate having to deal with them.
Shinobi, DrP, Hiraki need to give us more. And hurry the fuck up about it plz.as gregor samsa awoke one morning from uneasy dreams he found himself transformed in his bed- shos

Also i lost my ad-jester read becayse of his prod. I thought he was evading while having votes but up to a prod? Unlikely. Id expect at least a proddodge if that was the tactic. In post 836, Lucky2u said:

I'm not a fan of this at all.
Does it matter if he's lying?

Do you really think that Action Dan is expecting a page 2 or 3 lynch because he stayed on L-2? Bear in mind that ActionDan's vote does not decide lynches but the comparative association of the entire game.

This is really dumb and I'm getting Jester tells.Dr. Pepper wrote:My reaction test didnt gain much, but i did like this particular reaction. "OMG JESTER CLAIM MUST BE SCUM"
I don't like giving him L-1 though. A bit risky for my tastes but at least it didn't go south.
Is your intention to just sit in the background then?In post 75, ZZZX wrote:I played many games with jesters in the past in many sites and this is getting interesting. lol
What?In post 87, Shinobi wrote:Why would you prefer to lynch someone for safety measures rather than actually trying to read them?
I don't like this jester rushing anymore.
See I don't necessarily agree with this. Maybe I'm thinking incorrectly but I'm getting dumbtells all around from Dr. Pepper. While the option that he might've forgot that he had the ability to won is minuscule, I would not put it behind Dr. Pepper. In post 108, Psyche wrote:DrP is actually 100% not jester and much more likely to not be town.
Why have you decided to be arrogant?
At the moment, here's what I'm thinking:
Shos - Town (There's literally no reason why someone in a scum or jester position would go as far as to say to tell someone to look up something about knightless jesters)
Xayzeck - Probable Scum/Nub Town (The macho aggressiveness here is overwhelming)
ZZZX - Null (Hasn't said anything noteworthy)
Shinobi - Possible Jester (Seems confused all of the time)
Melmond/Psyche - ? (I'm not sure yet. He's either Jester or Dumb Telling Scum, I remember Pysche being smarter and better than this. That being said, Melmond was a clear town read.)
Dr. Pepper - Possible Jester (I'm not convinced of his smarts, especially after OMGUSing on L-1. Doesn't that seem strange to anyone else? The fact that he had no intention of addressing that he was on L-1? I have a really really bad feeling that he forgot that he could self-vote to end the game and wanted someone else to hammer him)
Rubicon - Null (Hasn't said anything noteworthy--that being said, he's certainly posted more than ZZZX)
AD - ? (I was leaning town here but I'm not so sure now. I'll revisit this later)
I like my vote here.Unvote, Vote: Xayzeck- ZZZX

I think a few of you have problems with the original AD case, and how it's over the top, over analytical, and all the likes
And I actually have to agree with you on that. I usually look at L-2s behind RVS as scumtells, and for no particular reason. I ask for a sheep, and I was told to convince him.
So I try, I rambled, and I blew things up. It got people moving, we slowly rolled out of RVS, so it was good. I got some reactions to it, but I played along anyway to see what would happen. I figured it'd be a good way to keep up interactions with AD to gauge reactions, tone, and what not. I'm still not a huge fan of him, because he feels very roundabout. Like this "I'm waiting for you to reread my post" and something else about the problems I had with it. He never answered this properly, even after I made a joke about it I thought he'd be like "lol no if you read it then blahblahblah"
Of course, a more direct approach like "what exactly do you want me to see" would've been more effective, but I can't edit my post to change it so I just left it as it was.
so ya..

I wanted to mention that I hate this kind of statement. ItIn post 152, Psyche wrote:Rubicon and AD are the sorts who play apparently protown but are always pretty hard to read. For one thing, you call our posts 'apparently protown' but don't commit to a town-read on either of us, which either leaves you open to vote both of us if the opportunity presents itself or allows you to slot a buddy in a noncommittal position next to a townie.
For another thing, and on a personal level, it bothers me even more when I can't figure out how the person making a meta argument has the meta they're trying to invoke. As far as I know you have never seen scum-me. Unless it was an alt or something, in which case I feel like you should be able to read me since you've seen both sides. - Rubicon
