Can someone talk to me about reck? Like I play most of my games with hoe people play inconjunctio. Tigh how I've plated with them in the past. So I expect for Nero to yell at people as he has. I expect falcon to meta read people, have you I'm sorry I'm pretty drunk right now, but I'm still feeling like I should have never fucked up the way in takes like I did and maybe just maybef I didn't there we'd have run that game and In the few moments when I can get empire to talk to me he tells me my little paranoia bits are stupid snd I just want to listen to him. But what was I saying OH look at the reckoning. I totally used the red wedding game for why I thought reck was town. In fact, Cdb, Mille and I discusse it and Cdb tried to use it for eh I sjouldny be using it to town read him. He said that reck would basically try to meta duck on that. Will you look there and he? Am I being insane? I don't know if joe I'm bring meta ducked on that. I'm like just look and tell me?

Anyways, on Reck, I actually attempted to read him through meta by going over Red Wedding and The Reckoning (although I don't know how many of the posts from his hydra were him and how many were his partner). I find Reck hard to meta-read tonally or based on content since his towngame isn't something I can relate to and he is one of those people that are difficult for me to pick up differences on just based on cold meta. The notable thing I noticed was what you discussed earlier regarding his hammer D1 on Metal Sonic. I remember him asking MS for a short case and then voting Generic based off of it very casually and I don't like that he basically did that with UT on D3 saying that UT was manipulating him. But it isn't conclusive and I'm not sure. I also don't get where UT got this really strong townread on him either. But yeah, I'll look through it again and post more thoughts on it.

#1) All posts in Reckoning III were by me, Grimm was just commenting, I was posting.

#2) I don't get why people are using probably two of the least useful games for meta ever. RW was lurktastic bullshit which I've almost never done as scum and Reckoning III was

a game full of people who had literally just spent a week or more hanging out together IRL

which makes tone and playstyle different from a run of the mill forum game.

#3) Stop fucking relying on meta for fucking everything. Meta is useful as a guideline, SOMETIMES, but never as the crux or bulk of a read/case. Like holy fuck people who only use meta to justify reads are just bad players, don't be a bad player.

reckne is [robably actually scum here. Because in the Reckoingin III I called him town based on him not feeling like the Red Wedding, and CDB and Mollie tried to talk me out of that. Bit here he's lie OMG someonw is using the reckoning and the red wedding as meta for me, wtf are they doing? like seriulsy if he was town wiuld he do that? it feels like he's rying to set me up for something because in he reckoning when I used red weeding to town read him he totally didin't try to set me up but here he is and i don't know why? though like holy shit when we were partners is the red wedding he had a whole plan so maybe he does here; idk

I'm going to translate this as "Why is Reck concerned about me using RW meta here but not in Reckoning III?".

And the answer is because those two games are really bad examples of my meta (as I explained above), and also because I hate meta, so hearing it back to back two games in a row "BUT RECK IS NOT PLAYING LIKE RED WEDDING" really gets fucking old.

Because this game has been rather dense for me. Lots of lurking and not a lot of activity I care about. Tim Howard was a slight scum read because they just flat out lied/misrepped some stuff but I was wrong. I've had a big streak of being very very wrong in games recently and it has lead to a big decrease in confidence.

Because they never expressed suspicion of me. My use of the ability was to try and use HOT OR NOT to dissuade people who suspected me from suspecting me -- akin to how I'd invent stuff to give my biggest suspects to keep them from suspecting me.

I was following a recently finished Tammy scumgame where she racked up yet another scum win surviving and winning the game. But her play here seems a lot different. There, a lot of it didn't make sense. Her pushback on Ffery-Kaze felt genuine at that time and I was only sure she was scum once they were in 4P MYLO.
