If there is one, it would have to be me. It's not, but once I'm removed from the game, Bodie & Poot become pretty much masons.

Bodie & Poot can't be scum unless the flavors are super wonky. Take my role out with its built-in controversy and we have two confirmed townies. Get it?

Aside from that, her slot is still independently scummy and this is not the proper town way to replace out. It only makes sense as a scum ploy.

It's not my "largest motivation" though you are annoying.

I am not replacing out. I am playing my role in the best possible way to benefit the town and leaving me alive is a big mistake.

I have a couple of questions:

Do we even know that there is a traitor in this setup? I haven't seen anything that indicates that, but I could have missed something.

@DGB: Flavour aside, do you think the other two people in your neighborhood are town? Are you basing your assumptions purely on flavour? If you are town as you claim, wouldn't that indicate that flavour cannot be relied upon as an absolute indicator of alignment anyway?

"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.

@ReallySexyDudes: Apart from the things we can all see in the thread, and apart from flavour speculation, do you have other reasons to think DGB is scum from your private topic?

So this refers to in-thread discussion and not PT discussion, right? Did you know DGB's flavour role before she announced it in thread yesterday? You knew she was in a neighbourhood with you before that, yes?

@DGB: Did you decide to push for your own lynch due to pressure from yesterday and your flavour role? Which was more of a deciding factor, or were they about equal?

No she mentioned me "always being an asshole" or something to that extent. There wasn't anything else worth mentioning from the QT.

I don't think she mentioned the flavor prior to yesterday, no. I did know about her presence in the neighborhood.

Like this. This, Muki's alignment regardless, is scumposting.

(He's a VI don't listen to Mastin)
He is explicitly NOT a VI. His playstyle relies on people
thinking
he is a VI, but as both alignments, ending up underestimating him. As scum, he can cruise by thanks to people erroneously making this assumption (when he's actually one of the most deadly scum players I've witnessed, and that really says something!), but it is NOT VIing to the detriment of his towngame; his towngame is similarly misattributed to being moronic, but I know it to not be. (I happen to disagree with his tactics and think promoting them is a bad thing, but I also know the mindset behind them, and precisely why it can be so lethal to scum.) So pardon me, but I will NOT be discarding him and will NOT accept this as an answer.

Mental math: DGB - DGB, Slandaar, SKOT, SexyDudes, Jackal.
Deja vu, anyone?

You've traded lynching one person known for gambits and good scumplay quickly yet who holds an excellent scumhunting interior...for another player who is known for gambitting and strong scumplay yet who holds an excellent scumhunting interior, just as quickly.

DGB's alignment aside, that's sketch-as-hell.

The only vote there not trashy is DGB's. Sexydudes come in second for least-trashy thanks to apparently sharing the neighborhood with DGB, but that doesn't stop them from overall being a bit sketchy themselves. (They're on the townish side of null for me, barely.) Others, not so much.

I need to do more analysis later. Needless to say, I feel we're getting off-track with the DGB wagon. And that if we want to get back in track, we need to give things a more even look.

No, explicitly not. (Okay, so actually his skills as a scum player have been given recognition before, such as him being the second person in MS.net history to successfully pull off the miller gambit.) Actually
has
strong scumplay and is a good scumhunter? Explicitly so.

Fun fact, I'm writing a ramble/lecture for my academy that has a heavy emphasis on this subject--just because
others
perceive a player to be a VI does not mean they are in fact at VI to be utterly and entirely ignored, and *I* see that in them; my viewpoint of VIs is different, including who I define as one.

Yes.

However in a neighborhood (non-masons) as Wallace I am the player that needs being dead. You don't want me in end game, do you?

The gambit was bad but I think Salamance was correct in his reads. I basically plan on sheeping him.

DGB is either scum and pushing the attention she got from the Salamance lynch to appear like a self sacrificing town, or its some weird gambit and its going to get revealed soon enough.

"It's bad for town if I survive to lylo, lynch me now" is a really hard argument to understand. A quick lynch on DBG would also make for 2 straight days where town didn't scum hunt properly.
