j4 has two forms of cc and a steroid, Vi has 1 form of cc + a conditional steroid. J4's pre 6 ganks are better by a significant margin. There you go, those of you that can't count abilities.

For Jayce, the low-level way I think about is that he has two modes: poke mode and all-in mode. You poke in cannon mode until you're ready to use all 6 of your abilities to all-in someone, unless you're in lane alone and are using cannon mode to gain mana or push with QW. This will take basically your entire mana bar during lane phase, so you have to be sure you can finish them off.

The other tricks are obvious things -- for example, hammer Q slows and hammer E knocks back, so you can hammer Q, then walk to the far side of them, and hammer E them back for a few extra autoattacks in case the all-in attempt comes close.

New Sona feels fun, especially with Ardent Censer. Walking around to give everyone Q and then W for both buffs can be kinda fun. I rushed censer and then took lichbane to kind of skip boots with her new E. I didn't think this would feel very comfortable and thought it would only be actionable on Janna, but it was pretty fine so long as you're OK with thinking a little about how you E around that time between what would have been chalice and the censer. It would be even more comfortable if you went Coin with its new flat MS, though spellthief is just so good for her.

I think a major part of this is that you can't really telegraph to your ADC when you're about to Q and give them LB, especially if their priority is to farm, not to mention that the opportunity may not present itself at that exact moment, but you shouldn't just not poke, etc., so the ADC half of the aura buff is very frequently spent on last-hits. You also can't really Q from the bushes very efficiently, since you have to tag your ADC, or at least probably want to. The new E is noticeably nicer at getting out of overextended positions, though, provided you're both comparably overextended.

I thought I would hate her new ult animation, but I actually like it. I always found the Arcade Sona one kind of ugly.

Also her hair is so pretty now.

I didn't try her yesterday on purpose because I knew new patch meant new Sona.

She's fun, I agree with what Iece said but I loved the synergy between Talisman's active and her E.

Ooh, it looks like there was a stealth QoL buff to Sona's Q, too -- both bolts can hit the same champion (though they only take damage from one), meaning that you can't accidentally take cs unless you just misjudge the range altogether.

That feels like a stealth nerf if they only take damage from one. I've often used q to push while harassing to give more pressure on the lane. I mean, it's not that hard to avoid pressing q when it'd kill the second closest thing to you.

It makes sona less punishing for lower levels cuz no take-y the cs-y but makes things inefficient for me since there's not often a case where I can get in range of both champions in lane without going splat.

Mind you I haven't tried new sona yet to really give a verdict. Will probably do that later today. Sona was my girl, gotta see if she's okay.

Sona's push/waveclear was pretty awful anyway. I'm happy for the freedom to take advantage of my free poke opportunities with relative abandon.

I didn't actually notice this change, but someone commented on it, so it could be that they were mistaken.

Well, people on PBE are definitely lower skill level. Or at least they care less. I'm also averaging about 200 ping on PBE.

I stopped playing ranked when I hit Gold 2 on NA. I'm okay.

Gnar just seems to have too much CC and mobility at this point. I'm glad they made it so he's slower as Mega Gnar.

@Maestro, I've been on for like a year so I don't think it's temporary.

They actually sent me an email saying they were looking for more people to sign up. O.o So I shot them an application. It took a few months, but I got in! How long have y'all been playing? And have you ever been banned? Those are all factors.

The IP/RP change in Feb? I actually think it's smart. I don't need to buy old stuff and being able to buy Gnar for 1IP is so damn satisfying.
I'm still over 100,000IP (I think), and I'm just above 20,000RP because I mystery gift spammed.

Yeah. Well, that makes sense. Most people who get into PBE need to have been played for quite a while. I started May 2012, I think. My friend who got in way before me has been playing since Season 1.

So you are my rank, which means you either are way way better than everyone on pbe, or in games that you're way way worst than cause you find the diamond pbe crew. I find it impossible to tell when things are strong on the PBE cause i can never find players near my level.
